PMB came in, knew the security force was understaffed and did NEXT TO NOTHING about it.

I think it is very glaring to see that Nigeria does not have the resources to employ more personnels. This excuse is starting sound like the New national anthem.

I once asked here on what the salary for 50k soldiers would be annually; exclude funds for training, equipments, welfare and all that. Where would BAT get those funds?

Yes, you can remind me about monies lost to corruption, but the corruption will also be there after 2023.

So when you remove the ones they will thief, where will you get the resources to employ 50k personnel?

The Nigerian army today is estimated at 220K person's. Any idea that seeks to increase that number by approximately 23,000% will always be laughed at.

We def need numbers, and from my layman perspective, even adding 400K person's to the army should give us the bodies needed to send these guys back into the desert.

Separate both relationships; Be a loving son to your mum, and a loving boyfriend/babypapa to your girlfriend

We must not love each other for us to live in peace. Mutual respect and distance will do just fine

I confirmed before posting it here that it happened in SE. I can also show how I confirmed it. I , however added a caveat that I wasn't aware of it was an old or new video.

Back to the matter at hand, I believe you misunderstood me. When someone claims genocide is happening in Nigeria, it would be important if it is backed with facts. Then we need to understand the context the person refers to it as genocide. We can start screaming from now till tomorrow without knowing what is actually happening and how to help refugees and also certain informations not to posted.

I tried looking again and came across this tweet below. Earlier reads from a lot of tweeps claim the government/military abandoned this people and all that.
This is a tweet from the same Shehu Sani saying 21 people were killed senselessly. If you agree with him that the military repelled the attack yesterday, do you also agree with him that 21 people died?

Or do need Police and military report to verify this tweet?

It is okay not to believe it happened. But trying to commonize it and asking for proof, as if we are talking about the death of birds in a poultry is very insensitive.

That was how a lady tweeted that she had been shot on a train, and one guy in his room was asking for proof, only to find out that she actually died.

Nigeria is not safe. People die daily and those cases are not reported. The BBC doc on Zamfara was an eye opener that 30 people can die tonight, and nobody will hear

May God not let us be killed gruesomely, and someone will be mocking our death from the comfort of his bed

All I keep hearing is genocide in Southern Kaduna. The people making that statement should check the meaning of the word "genocide".

As regards the "supposed" killings, is there any concrete information anyone can provide? Places that were attacked, people who were shot(witness statement), police and military reports.

Do you expect people to start screaming genocide up and down. You can simply present the information contextually and factually. A lot people here have a lot doing this period to start paying attention to Southern Kaduna. If you want to raise interest in the issues ravaging the area, proper information is a must.

Make propaganda no kill us for this country
When you posted a video of people clapping for masked men in the SE, which eye witness report did you read? Which place did you hear that it happened? What police or military reports did you read too?

What is bad is bad. And when statements like yours are made, it shows how we are losing our affections as humans first.

This is not an issue of whether the killing was religious, tribal or political. People were killed, and there was a burial.

I don't see what you need a report for

Lol, they don't need to know. They only need to know they are thumb printing one party as president and another as Senator or HOR. Nigerians are definitely capable of doing that. When I have time, I will pull out several instances when Nigerians have gone with separate choices for Presidential and HOR elections. Numerous instances abound.
Please pull it out

Also show us who won the presidential in that senatorial zone.

In 2015, Buhari won the presidential election in Lagos. Goodluck Jonathan won a particular zone in Lagos, and the senator and HoR that won there too were PDP

People cannot differetiate both on that day, because they don't even know the senator sef

Use this thread as a yardstick. Most Obedients here are voting for Obi on that day, but none of them have talked about who the senators are.

So on that day, they are presented with two slips; one for Presidential and Senatorial.

Who do you think they will vote for senatorially?

If you read a couple of pages back, it was clearly established on this thread that Nigerians are indeed capable of voting two separate parties even if the election is on the same day.

It was between larri.de, afrodoc.2 and Trebl.eChamp. You can go back to read it.

Wike is the major financer of Sandy Onor who is the PDP governorship aspirant in Cross Rivers State. Donald Duke the former governor and leader of PDP in the state is also his strong ally.

If you want to believe his control is only in Rivers State, fine. The facts before us suggests otherwise.
Nigerians are capable of voting two different candidates when it is the Presidential and Governorship

That was the facts presented yesterday. And these two elections are not on the same day. The governorship is a week after Nigeria has known her new president.

Most Senators have to ride on the popularity of the Presidential candidate. Many people here don't even know the names of the senators of the different parties contesting for their zones.

Can you tell us the Senator representing PDP, APC, and LP for you zone? I doubt. But you definitely can for the governorship.

The fact of yesterday can't include senators. They mostly ride on the popularity of the Presidential candidate

His control extends beyond the south. As an example, the Kano faction of PDP loyal to Kwankwaso is with him. Same as Benue state.

When you come to the South, Ondo, Lagos, Oyo, Cross Rivers, Enugu, Abia, Rivers all have a faction loyal or completely loyal to him
My brother, no Senator will jeopardise his future because Wike doesn't want Atiku to win.

The Presidential and Senatorial elections will be at the same time, same day. Which faction will have the time, campaigning for electorates to vote another party in Presidential, and vote PDP in senate?

The moment he lost out, he held only Rivers with his grips. Any other faction have moved on. Kano PDP needs to win senatorial seats too. So how will they demarket Atiku, and ask for people to vote PDP on that same day?

Infact, i feel Wike has realised he has only Rivers on his cards, hence the ISWAPic approach to destroy Atiku

Head-to-Head despite the obvious failure of "The White Lion" he's better than Peter Obi when it comes governance.
He has legacy projects to show despite the lean resources and the dangerous situation he met the state on assumption of office.
3 Reference Hospitals across the 3Senatorial districts, several kilometres of roads reconstructed across the state, he tamed ASUU in Kogi State University, initiated Confluence University of Science And Technology, Osara, Omi Rice Mill, presently there's a PPP arrangement to build a Cement plant by Dahiru Mangal company (the name escaped my memory).
He was able to keep bandits and kidnappers at bay by investing in security architecture and recruiting locals as vigilantes alongside hunters to comb the bushes and forest across the entire stretch of the state; this is a state bordering about 10 or so states including the FCT and the 13th largest in terms of landmass, this is a state that almost as big as the entire SE region. He won the best Governor on security, you can verify this claim.

[s] However, his legacy will forever be tainted by the issue of nonpayment/underpayment of salaries which he's partly responsible for. Since 1999 Kogi civil servants have had to deal with poor working conditions with the only exception being the administration of Gov Ibrahim Idris between 2003-2011, during the time of late Prince Audu workers in the state are paid using what they refer to as satanic chart and pensioners were called dead woods [/s].
So, in 8 years, this is what a man you consider better than Obi did

He built 3 Reference Hospitals
Tamed ASUU (What an achievement grin)
Initiated Confluence University of Science and Technology
Presently a PPP with whoever
Keep bandits and kidnappers at bay.

This is the achievement of the man that is better than Obi?

In 2015 general election, PDP won 3 House of Rep seat and a number of State house of Assembly seat in Lagos. That has never happened prior to 2015, and it happened because of Jonathan factor. The people who will vote for PO in next year Election will most likely vote LP all through, and they will be the real structure on ground. Me am voting PO for President and any candidates from any Party i believe will serve well at the National Level, then Sanwo-Olu for Governor and any candidates from any Party i believe will serve well at the State Level.
