I have a friend that works in the Corporate field. He's just doing okay

But his father worked with Ministers and even an Ex Governor who is now a Senator.

Sometimes, I ask him how his father was well connected and he's just going through the same process with us. He says his Dad was just a man that did his job, and went home. He didn't really tap into the opportunities he had to network.

Some people are like that. You just think they should be connected, but they aren't like that.
