TemporaryHansel: Ned cannot beat Okowa in a primary. That is the end of it.
People online seem to think because Ned is a moneybag he can win, but these things don't work like that. If the stakeholders don't fvck with you, no amount of money will help you.
Ned decamped from PDP to APC because he feared Okowa will contest for the Senate seat and he knows he can't contest against Okowa and win, only for Okowa to defect to APC later, talk about the devil paying you a visit hahaha. He should've locked up instead of going ahead to disgrace himself by contesting against Okowa.
Okowa is not Peter Nwaoboshi, and some reasons he won was because of Regina daniels popularity by his side and Nwaoboshi himself already fvcked up due to previous decisions he made. Nothing special. Chai! Pa Nwoko bites the dust So what happens to his Anioma state? Ned has been pushing for the creation of an Anioma state, and it should be added to the SE. Okowa supports it, but says it should stay in the SS. With Okowa going to the Senate, that dream might die off, because the Senate won't add a 7th state for the SS. |

APC got 8,000 votes in Abia in 2023
Today Orji Uzor Kalu got 60,000 votes an emerged as winner in his Senatorial district.
Only one Senatorial Zone produce 60k votes.
Wonderful! |

The Delta case is similar to GEJ. Jonathan would be deluding himself if he thinks he has an independent political structure outside of the PDP machine that brought him to power in 2011 |

APC primaries dey always get more votes than the real election Na so Chris abi Andy Uba get 240,000 votes for primaries. On election day, e no get 20,000 How can a ward in Delta be producing 12,000 votes? |

Anyone fooling themselves otherwise will most likely return to poverty sooner or later cos dem no get sense They are all going to return to poverty |

MorataFC: Betrayal. But abeg who is the real betrayal here, is it this man that betrayed LP or Apc party that betrayedthis man? Nobody betrayed him. Just like a good player in a Coker Secondary School, who now relocated to Ihiala Secondary School, and wants to automatically become Captain. Not like, he cannot be Captain, but there's nothing he has done to earn it. |

BlueRayDick: So the gist on Twitter is that the Lady in contest with Desmond for APC ticket on Surulere was one of the aspirants that were asked to step down for Desmond in 2022.
She stepped down for him and went ahead to campaign for his relection in 2023.
The picture below is Desmond hugging her to thank her for how she carried his re-election on her head back then. I guess this explains why she said in one of her videos that she expected Desmond to step down for her now like other candidates did.
As it stands, dem go use Desmond wipe ground on Wednesday at the direct primaries across all wards. He released a video that his security was withdrawn, LG staff supporting him were sacked, blah blah blah. I would love him to contest sha. Someone has to take the spotlight from Pascal this week. E never reach time wey there should be a law for the number of tenures you can spend as a legislator? E be like say Abaribe na Desmond mentor |

GloriousGbola: But why would tinubu be concerned with opportunists with no political experience whatsoever who simply got lucky?
Look at eti osa. For years banky w had been building grassroots support. Obanikoro had been investing in the community - then one nobody with zero investment came out of nowhere in an upset.
Why should you disrupt your existing framework for people who have no political value? If you had put your name up you would likely have won that election with no campaigning. And like Desmond who we have been knocking all this time, they did nothing with their 4 years. Period! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 9:13am On May 18 |
PDPGuy: Tinubu is too wicked 🤣😅 He only cares about his and some of his inner circle’s re-election. Everyone else can go pound sand 🙆🏽♂️😂 I really don't think this has anything to do with Tinubu for most cases. Okay, let's look at the Delta guy that was deceived with the time just to rig him out. He won the 2023 election. Guess who he won against? Ndudi Elumelu. This guy did not have any supporters. He just bought the LP form, and with the Top to bottom wave, he defeated an incumbent legislator. He assumed he had political roots, which he doesn't. He then decamped to the same party with the man who you won, has been in politics for decades, and has a supporter base that has been hungry for 4 years because you edged them out. Abeg, how on earth do you think you can win? Many of these guys do not think. It is just common sense to either stay where you got your victory. |

Theflint1: I agree, his average might be around that range, but I don't think getting 8 figure emcee gigs would be anything completely crazy for one of the top emcees in the country.
Portable last fight with Carter Efe, he said he collected around 40M.
To invite Portable come event, you fit dey hear around 1M or even more sef...these our celebs collect good money, na the lifestyle Dem dey live fit con make them still dey struggle. I believe the Corporate firms can pay say 8m, but those events are usually once or twice a year. For weddings, he might be getting less than half of that. So how many in a year do you think he can pull? His options are limited, not to talk about the amount he gets |

Make everybody just give up and accept that APC will rig themselves in at the general elections in 2027. The way they rigged the primaries was just so shameless . 🤦♂️ My Brother The same primaries that they are bullying someone else for not contesting; Na the primaries we dey see so. How long does a 6 figure payout last a celeb like Frank. Most mid level Naija corporate guys dey earn 6 figures a month thats steady, for Frank that might be once in 3 months. Those gigs are also cyclical. More during end of year and AGM seasons. While BlueRayDick with 6 figure income can enter mamaput, drink beer for local place, enter public transport, enter club without sitting at VIP, Frank cannot before dem start to bring phone say dem see Frank for low budget place Blueray can manage no name suits, natives and even below quality grooming, Frank has to be on point everytime. Kingsley Obiekwu dey use car do transport the other day, people don bring the news out. If he's not a strong willed man, shame no go even allow am go that route whereas he might not be making in a year what a no name izzou makes in a month
