I mentioned it here in the past that I've not travelled beyond Berger towards Lagos-Ibadan expressway since sometimes around 2017-2018 while Buhari was still there because of the activities of these terrorists kidnapping people on expressway. I fear for my life and that of my loved ones and decided to not tempt the devil since our government has chosen to be useless.

Sometime in January this 2026 my wife's grandma was to be buried at RCCG burial ground at the Redeemed camp. I was literally scared journeying on the express with my own family and few family friends that joined us to celebrate the life of grandma with us.

If not that my wife's parents are based abroad and we had to represent them, I swear I would've found an excuse not to attend even as an in-law. That is how much I don't trust our security agents in this country. The fact that there's so many under-policed/unpoliced areas in this country always make me scared .

And then you have somebody here talking about Tinubu delegating security to Seyi makinde and other 36 governors despite not having the military & security agents under their control. Omo! No be everything supposed be cruise o.

I don't want to believe if today Tinubu tells the joint chiefs to either bring home surviving kidnapped Ogbomosho victims home or lose their jobs, they will come up with stories and lose their jobs.

I want to believe we will see results instantly. That Oyo national park forest cannot be so big that if the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Airforce deployed major assets to comb it they won't bring home the rest of the kidnapped victims that are not yet decapitated.

I don't think a terror group can be well equipped more than the military of a state like Nigeria, it is the willpower to get things done that is our problem in naija.

There have been noise about activities of miners in Oyo north and bandits surrounding Old Oyo national Park which the govt ignored

I stopped flying in through Owerri airport after a driver told me they kidnap along that route. My friend from Enugu is always posting news of some communities that were attacked. Sadly everyone is focused on being re-elected, so no governor would agree his state is on fire, except if the situation is beyond his control.

That is Ned Nwoko's problem. Do you think he actually cares for the Anioma cause? Or he was chasing a bigger picture to be regarded as the godfather of the state(if it was approved) since he championed it.

If he was that desperate to return to the Senate he should've gone to Okowa with the following proposition:

1. Henceforth, publicly regard Okowa as his master/benefactor,
2. 60% of every loot or whatever he makes due to the
Senate seat goes to Okowa,
3. Every legislative agenda he plans to initiate or support
must go through Okowa for approval first.

If he had given this proposition or something similar, given how far Okowa has already come in life, he would've probably agreed.

But the problem with people like Nwoko is they have too much pride, thinking they're bigger than they are.

Okowa choosing to contest is just to show who's the boss, not because he's really interested. And Ned If he didn't know who the boss was all this while, I believe he now knows from the result of the primary.
