He deflects too much, telling stories for just emotional weight, like his arise interview yesterday, the story of the guy with Nigerian mother he met at the airport, the one of his son beign independent, the one of him going to meet obj to change commissioner were all unnecessary.

At bolded, with wrong figures. He cook his own figures in his kitchen before dropping them.

Yesterday on Arise TV, he says Morroco has the best port in Africa and that none of our ports are nothing to write home about. A little google search will reveal that Port of Durban of South Africa is the best port in Africa while Lagos Port ranks above any of Morroco Port.

He also said Morroco make more from export than Nigeria, a simple google search will also reveal that Nigeria earns more from export than Morroco.

I said it here some days ago that for a former Governor, he just keep dishing out wrong figures and statistics that you begin to ask yourself why he needs to lie on things that are easily verifable.
With the way he is quick to dish out figures at any little question asked, there's no way he won't make a mistake and mix it up.

I watched one of his interviews on Brekete and I really don't know what was wooing the people in the comments section.

He's just some fresh air. That's my only reason, and he won't be worse than Buhari. E no pass like that,

Barcelona’s financial woes has no end in sight, with the club apparently owing more than €126 million in transfer fees to various clubs in Europe.

The growing transfer debts are the byproduct of the lavish spending from the previous board led by Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Among other debts, this includes a figure of €29 million being owed to Liverpool for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian international had joined Barça for a fortune back in 2018, but the club are yet to pay the full fees.

Other news outlets have widely speculated that the Catalans also owe money to Bayern Munich for the transfer of Arturo Vidal. The same can be said for Borussia Dortmund, in the case of Ousmane Dembele.

All the debts combined amount to a figure of more than €126 million, owed to 19 different clubs.

Told Barcelona are willing to hand Frenkie de Jong back €3.5m in deferred wages at this point but ask him to forgo the rest in a bid to see the move to Man United transpire.
So, you mean as we speak currently, Coutinho money never finish?

Politics is local....... izzou has explained what it means. Atiku, even though he's silent now, I believe he's cooking. Recently he appointed two (2) Media Aides.

Tinubu sabi cook well well, and as an experienced Chef, more menus are in the plan soon.

Obi keeps roaming Arise TV, saying what his Followers already envisaged, instead of doing under G work.

Jodera, izzou and Co believe Obi is the right man for the job. I respect their choice 100%. We are in democracy, hence its their fundamental right.

Larride, Raumdeuter, Oasis and some other Users believe Tinubu is the right man to fix Nigeria.... I hope our Choice will be respected as well.

Election ain't coming up next Month, thus who says we can't swing to your Camp, if at a point we are so much convinced by you Guys or vice versa?

The Thread is fun and entertaining, let's keep it civil till the end.

May the Best Candidate win.
I am not even an Obi fan sef. I dey even drag am.

I have listened to him without emotions, and most times, he spends more time repeating the problems and backing it with figures. I don't see much solutions in his Pep talk

The reason I am voting him is because Apc needs to be punished for failures. We shouldn't be rewarding failures.

As for Atiku, his desperation is becoming suspicious

What you described in bold is what is called structure
This is what is called structure that people are ridiculing. The numbers you are able to deliver will be your bargaining power in the next dispensation

You call yourself APC women leader in your ward and APC is unable to get 80% of votes, which mouth you wan use talk to make you LG women leader or State women leader. When some people are delivering 90% votes in 200K voting block neighborhood.

This type of work you discussed goes on in all 779 LGAs in Nigeria for APC and PDP whether its Ebonyi Gombe Ekiti or Kebbi state
I have friends who have contested elections and who are still contesting elections

That women leader, na him the women electorates go come meet few days to election for "mobilization" how much you get for mobilization from the upper echelon depends on how many people are registered in your area and how much of it you can deliver. No PvC no mobilization

Alimosho that will deliver 3m votes vs VGC wey be 500 elites who most will be on vacation or sleeping that election weekend
Obi is just speaking grammar from Station to station. I really hope he's working underground.

Election can be influenced right from registration.

You see that bolded, na big true.

But online and offline, if you see the way this guy dey talk about Obi ehh, you go think say this guy get voters card. And e sure me say that guy go dey vote for online voting too. I don warn am say him no dey qualified to talk to me about Obi or any candidate unless I see him voters card. If na any other gist, make him bring am come.

I also hope that PO should be trying to be chipping how his supporters should go get voters card and not be deceived by online polls. Even if na small small
Let me tell you one funny story.

When I went for capturing, I found out that the APC women leader in that ward actually paid the INEC staff to come and do the registration there. She went through that stress to ensure that people in her constituency register.

This is the kind of underground work I expect Obi and his team to be strategizing. Areas that you know are your strongpoints, you try to increase the number of Capturing units.

Like I said earlier, I'll vote him, but I am not convinced he's winning

You cannot use polling for something that only delegates are voting in. You're already sure that 99% of those polled are not taking part in the selection process. I'm sure many APC supporters right now preferred Osibanjo to tinubu but Tinubu's dollars had other ideas. cheesy
Its just like organizing a poll for Nigerians in Texas concerning the 2023 elections.

Even if Obi scores 99.9%, its useless and does not give any leads.

That is exactly how an online poll for a Party primary is. 99% of the voters cannot vote in the primaries

It plays a role in the North (NW, NE NC) maximally. I concede. South East and South South the same. Southwest is polarized. Now let us sub-analyze it. It favors the northern candidate to be Muslim. SE & SS, Christian and SW could be either or fairly equally.

As you can see, the 2 Geopolitical zones that care about it being Christian are zones that APC would have still lost in even if they used a Christian candidate. Same way PDP will lose in the SW even if they match the religion of the APC candidate. So the battleground zone, which is now the North will require the candidate for both parties to be from that zone and also have the 'favored' religion in that enclave. That way they can 'battle' it out. That is why APC need a candidate like El Rufai. He ticks both boxes.
But then, after winning. What next?

We live peacefully ever after. You think so?
