larride: How did Tinubu and the FG frustrated Ibom deep seaport?
Learn to read, Larride
News filtered in amongst the people of this region that Tinubu frustrated the deepest natural harbour in West Africa (Ibom Deep Seaport) to favour Lekki Deep Seaport (which was recommissioned 4 days ago).
DissTroy: Antecedence is everything on Nairaland. You are not politically conscious. You don't even know the mood of your own people. You aren't even involved politically offline. We've basically had this this year on the Chelsea thread and I made clear with references and evidence that I am deeply involving in and even organise governorship debates within my sphere. If anyone here is stating what he knows as an authority then it's Dîsstroy. -----
If you think a genocidal threat, kleptomania and drug-trafficking are not enough reasons not to support a candidate then maybe that candidate mirrors your person or desires. And that brings into question the kind of person you are given the candidatures available to choose.
As usual, when you don't have any point, we know your next move.
Like I said, I'll ask. But as for you sir, you are very ignorant on this matter. Very Very.
Maybe when I talk about the SS and Tinubu, you'll get a mention
DissTroy: Go find out from your people why they háte Tinubu. Get sociopolitically conscious. Don't just be a soundboard for the Tinubu propaganda of hatred for no reason.
I am from the Southsouth, from Akwa Ibom - I can confidently tell you why my people and the people of the South South see Tinubu a particular way so go find out yours. It's Tinubu's person, not his tribe or religion.
----
But I'd help you with one or two:
The same Tinubu whose stooge the Oba of Lagos in 2015 said Igbos had rather voted APC (Tinubu's choice) or be thrown into the Lagoon? That was a genocidal threat. You expect to be threat my people with mass murder and expect love in return?
Remember the Remi Tinubu's comments on election day in 2019 about Igbos?
Okay, I'll definitely need to ask.
Because you don't even know what you're typing, to be honest.
DissTroy: You should ask yourself why the South East doesn't háte Osinbajo?
Or why the South East doesn't háte Obasanjo?
Or why they loved Obasanjo so much they were detribalized enough to vote him and the candidate he anointed over Ojukwu in 2003 and the Igbo men who contested in 2007?
The South East háte Tinubu. But you forget they háte Uzodinma, Okorocha and Orji Uzor Kalu too.
Why should you love a kleptomaniac with a drug-trafficking history? -----
Rivers and Akwa Ibom State háte Tinubu for the same reasons - his antecedence, and more. For example, in the Akwa-Cross region (Akwa Ibom and Cross River) while Jonathan had made plans for the partnership with the Akwa Ibom government for the Ibom Deep Seaport, immediately Buhari came on board, the project was frustrated by the FG.
No APC candidate in Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River is openly canvassing for Tinubu, and the people know why. No Tinubu Support Groups in these states too.

It has nothing to do with Tinubu's religion or tribe. If you don't understand the mood of your people, ask questions.
Is the bolded the reason they hate him? I want to be sure, or you want me to ask?
Because every other reason you listed is the SS. I haven't seen anything concerning the SE he got involved in
Ishilove: No, you shut up, you e-imbecilè. Rejecting snails is part of my heritage but your sub-zero IQ will not allow you realise that the Nigerian people's cultures are not homogenous. Oponu. Moronike
larride: She is. That's Tinubu first child. Shes in her forties.
Remi is the only wife of Tinubu, considering he's a Muslim and wealthy, it's a surprise he didn't marry more than one but maybe Remi being a christian play a part sha.
donjazetl: For people who need context of that post, that was the very day it was revealed on front page that Tinubu's own wife had said to a poor beggar on the road that she didn't trust igbos. And then I replied izzuo when he said that. That is the context of that particular post. And i repeat, if after 10 years on this platform only one post can be revealed as being anything close to tribalistic, that tells you the story.
Panic buy is one of the only things I’m scared of at this point, then buying another nonchalant player who’s not committed and happy enough to play for us is another.
Imaging against all odds (vote buying inclusive) obi wins.
This will automatically send a signal to potential aspirants that...the masses have power to take you off...
Aspirants have a defined formula of achieving their their wills with money..
Once this jinx is broken then i think they will have no other choice than to do atleast 30% of what is expected of them....
The problem with this your formula is that not all the masses are on one side. We are split into three.
And yes, I agree with you that when a party fails they should be shipped out. You either deliver or leave, irrespective of whoever you decide to field.
I only choose Obi because he's the newest kid on the bloc. That's my only reason. Let's try something fresh. Of which if he fcks up, we kick him out
Afterall, electing any of them is still a gamble too
We just want to live....giving me light and taking away my food is insane. ..i can live and hustle hard when there is food in my tommy...to hell with light if no food
When i say "Accountability"..i know how .much difficulties is embedded in dis task..
See, we care very much on how ur proposed budget for a prospect will affect others
At the bolded...That is the only thing that have direct effect on unity......we are angry by default...Accountability will reduce agitation by almost 100%.....
U smile to your neigbour when you are happy indeed
Go to Kaduna and see the unrest there.
You think Elrufai is not working? He's fvcking working. The guy delivers
Yet, no unity. Clashes here and there
Accountability cannot unify people. If two Muslims or Christians rule this country, the underrepresented one would give serious headache. If you like open your office and show them your day to day records, dem no go rest

Unless Putin nukes Nigeria, we would always have no choice but to pick our leaders from the same recycled pool.
So expecting accountability from any politician is just like believing in fairytales to me.
Segedinho: I think i would dissagree with you on that.
Will you as Nigerian prefer to have a stable light only to be unable to eat twice a day?
An average Nigerian wants to live ....
Accountability will show you that it is misnormal to spend so much for less...
If much more is spent on what many will term secondary(light) ..it will have adverse effect on the economy and i think being alive is much more important than living with light.
Accountability is key.....
I'll use Lagos as an example, because that's where I stay.
Everybody wants to do business here, or at least have a presence. You know why? The SG delivers. That's all
Nobody knows how much Tinubu is wiping from the account. Even when you try to know, you'll relax because you'll see them working.
The Lekki Ikoyi link bridge is still a life saver from the traffic on Ozumba Mbadiwe. Whether they use 400 trillion dollars to build it is not anybody's business. We don't care. We are just impressed and happy with how it solves our issues.
Believe me, the reason for agitations is because people are seeing figures with no result.
Give them results, and they wouldn't care about the figures
