The Italian, Atiku's son, Abba Kyari, Bauchi governor were all tested positive before the lockdown. These are just the popular names we know. Does she even know that people can be asymptomatic? Her apology reeks of severe ignorance. I was not disappointed sha. Our politicians and celebrities are in the same WhatsApp group |

larride: They were ambushed. That was why he was saying they got wrong intel which lead to the ambush and they had taken heavy fire.
How I’m i berating another person victory? The attack is a joint operation between Chad, Niger and Nigeria involved in the MNJTF. Why exactly are they making it look as if Chad were acting on their own? See how airmark was quick to say “See what Chad and its President are doing” without acknowledging the fact that it was a joint operation that involved the Nigeria Air Force?
Chad withdrew his soldiers from the MNJTF in Jan, how is Nigeria going to control their borders? If not that BKH attack Chad base and kill 92 of their soldiers, you think they will come back to the JTF?
What the military are facing in the North East is not conventional war, BKH are using guerilla war tactics. Go read what guerilla warfare is. One reason I like to quote you is that apart from the fact that I learn from you, you always speak with FACTSFrom all the news outlets I've seen, no where was the Nigerian Airforce mentioned to have been involved in the success of that particular operation Kindly quote where you saw that, because I haven't/didn't |

larride: Yeah, I did followed the video and the subsequent redployment from Borno to Abuja.
I believe that video shouldn’t have leaked as however released that video to the public actually expose the man and his men as soft target. The Military were right to redeploy him away from the front line.
Now back to the basis of the video, you can hear from the video that the man was communicating with his superiors maybe in the DefenseHQ and he was giving back updates on the current situation of things. You can hear him saying “we are on the ground here, no one is running away”. The major takeaway from the video was that they were giving wrong intels which lead to the ambush in the first place.
I am not a military expert but I’m sure an investigation will take place to ascertain the unit that gave the wrong intel. As I said on Twitter when I saw the video, their mission was sabotaged by someone in the military. While I agree with you, at least you heard him mention about how the BKH had hit them so much He spent more time in that 2+ minute video talking about how they have wasted over 100 RPGs on them. The reason why I asked about this is because you spent more time in the last comment talking about how victories are being underreported. If there are so many underreported victories, why are parts of the North East still unsafe? Why are we still fighting this war even after 4 years of being promised that "it will be a thing of the past?" Tomorrow, you'll come and tell us how you are criticizing Buhari over his choices on defense, but here you are berating another person's victory so you can applaud Buhari You are doing very well |

larride: Lol.
Maybe you should pay attention to the news more. Buhari has been complaining of Chad and Niger not complimenting the work the military guys have been doing. Chad is BKH base for launching attacks, stockpiling ammunition’s and where they retreat to whenever the Nigerian military is on the offensive.
What you are seeing is Chad is on a revenge mission when BKH/ISWAP attack their base for 7 hours where the Chadian army lost 92 soldiers. Suddenly, Chad and its President knows where 5 of their base is. Connect the dot.
Even this victory that you are giving Chad is made possible by the operations of the Nigeria Airforce that was giving them area support in the battle but you won’t hear that because it doesn’t fit into the narrative.
When I says news of the Military exploits in these war is being underreported, I’m not joking. I'd like to hear your opinion/explanation about Gen Adeniyi's revelation. You didn't talk about that. |

BrodaZakius: That road is just meant for current and future governors to cash out and chop their own
I spent 4 years in Lasu, graduated and observed the compulsory one year NYSC service year; I've worked for 5 years now and the road is still under construction. Isn't that wonderful
I was forced to attend a wedding at Agbara last year on behalf of the company because the bride's father is one of our directors. Kai! I see shege that day It took almost 5 hours to get to Agbara even after bypassing the normal volks/Okoko traffic o. Our vehicle was stuck in a bad portion of the road close to an hour, the driver was asking me to stay in the car he will drive out of of the pothole....blah blah. I just came down looked for these Dangote discuss with the driver and he pulled us out of the pothole for a ₦500.
From that point I told the driver to follow one-way once he sees other doing same cos that means there's another failed portion of the road ahead. That was the lesson I learnt on that road, once u see people following one way just join them don't ask questions If people begin to share their experiences, this thread go full Although, Sanwo olu has fixed from Okoko to the Agbara bridge. It's very very motorable now. The road is under construction currently, but it's more than 11 years now. I stay there sometimes. If I want to leave for the island, I am already at the bus stop by 4 am(yes, you see buses and people then), or I drive out by 4:30am. I would be getting to Mile 2 by Quarter to 6, or later . Leaving Badagry is not really the problem. It's returning at night that has headache. You can spend 2 hours just at Iyanaoba alone |

confusedworld17: What if he wrote down the mileage with out the owner knowing ? Lol. And then? Like I said, the owner is even honest. He can discuss with him, stating why he should use the car and increase the wear and tear He can decide to let him use it. If I was on HP with my last partner, I'll let him use it, because he was a nice man He can decide to charge him. The point is he needs to bring in the power of negotiation But advising him to withhold the key is absolutely funny. He's not the owner of the car |

larride: I guess I should have worded that better. Majority of the blue buses Ambode bought were “wasting” away for the most part of Ambode govt. The blue buses are not under the BRT scheme, they are under the Lagos Bus Service Limited (LSBL). In fact the blue buses don’t run on the BRT lanes.
Most of these buses were meant to run from the Terminals that were being built and only Ikeja Terminal was completed and even that was later pulled down by Ambode govt himself. Well, that's better I believe his worst mistake was the breakup between him and his Tinubu. That was all it took to send his political life into the abyss of oblivion. I was/am his fan, but he made very stupid decisions, like spending so much in developing Epe, the Visionscape saga and neglect of his predecessors projects. But he did bring some changes. The change in the Lagos VIO started from him, the bridges, lay-bys at various bus stops. And some other developments I still believe it was too early to crucify him. But then, he already bit the finger that fed him |

larride: Lol.
Anyone governing Lagos already has a head start because there’s a system in place already and what is needed is continuity.
Ambode was a disaster that happened to Lagos. Yes, he got some infrastructure right like the Abule Egba flyover bridge, the double overhead bridge in Ojodu Berger, the double overhead bridge in Secretariat and the likes. Oshodi clean up was majorly Fashola achievement, not Ambode. Ambode did start the Oshodi interchange but it’s still not completed yet.
Ambode was running a confused government. Was he not the one that sited a terminal in Ikeja, Buhari came to Lagos to commission the Terminal only for him to demolish the terminal without it ever being in use. Most of the buses for Lagbus bought by Ambode were rotting inside those uncompleted Terminals. The one at onyingbo is still there.
Was it not Ambode that relaxed the ban on street trading and almost all the bus stop were filled back with people selling stuff and impending flow of traffic? Was it not Ambode that brought Visionscape from Dubai to replace the PSP guys that were the one doing the waste collection? Was that not what turn Lagos into a refuse dump? Was it now Ambode that failed to continue the culture of road repairs by LSMOW thereby causing 80% of roads in Lagos to deteriorate? Was it not Ambode that relaxed the ban of Okada riders in the highway after Fashola banned them since 2011?
Was it not Ambode that failed to continue the Lagos blue line rail? What about the Ilubirin housing project that was abandoned? Ibeju Lekki seaport?
I’m happy he did develop Epe though a little though, at least his people will always remember they once have a governor. Even if you want to criticize someone's government, don't exaggerate the whole thing. Anybody moving in Lagos knows that Ambode's buses are the current buses we use for BRT. They are not rotting anywhere. When Sanwo olu came in, he donated some of those buses to civil servants. How can they be rotting somewhere then, when it's obvious that the BRT buses are not even enough currently? Easy brother, easy |
