raumdeuter: I don't know the date of the shutdown
But can we compare to when other countries did their shutdowns
And given how much Nigeria depends on foreign stuff
Even the masks gloves ventilator we still need abroad to send it.
Do you recall half of the population called this Corona a scam? The airports and borders have been shut for two weeks plus now. Are we not still surviving? Even if some areas of our livelihood will be limited, at least our liberty of movement would be intact. We don't need an airport to harvest, and transport our food items. Most of what we eat are planted and harvested here No matter how much the people called it scam, it was the FG that was supposed to protect the people from it. More than half of the confirmed cases we have today all flew in. It tells a lot about how stupid our leaders can be |

raumdeuter: In America they are breaking new death records everyday before I went to sleep last night it was 850 which broke Tuesdays record, Tuesday broke Monday record and they say the worst is yet to come
States like Florida that refused to lockdown early and still had their beaches and normal life running 2 weeks ago are the next in line
Lousiana that hosted Mardi gras festival is also getting ready to be the next hotspot
Unfortunately most of these states are not as rich as New York.
If American president is predicting 250k deaths what should Nigeria get ready for?
Positive news afrodoc I heard the TB vaccine that all babies born in Nigeria take might give us some form of immunity. I am not sure o Sincerely, if the FG had shut down the airports and borders the moment the spike in the virus started, we would be moving about our Normal lives Not every country is on lockdown. But instead we had to wait for Buhari's daughter, Atiku's son, Davido Adeleke and Chioma, Abba Kyari and all those that went for the nonsense birthday in the UK to come back. Now it's the poor man that is to be blamed if it spreads. The government caused all this nonsense. We had enough time to stop this from getting here. While other countries are trying to control the spread, we now have to deal with the virus and an angry poor majority |

larride: That’s the idea, to flatten the curve and stop the fast spread of the virus.
I have said at this period, what govt needs is advise and alternatives on what to do.
Lagos State govt says they are partnering with food vendors from Mike 12 and the likes to start an app where you can order for food stuffs and it get delivered to your house.
They have also launched the food market farm using schools in areas.
What are the better alternatives, please share. The government needs to assume the responsibility of the people now. That's basically what this means If the curve doesn't flatten, what happens? You lock them up for another two weeks again? And won't people pay for the food stuffs that will be ordered? How will they pay when they don't work? We have local governments. They can detect where they have more concentration of the poor ones. They could give them stipends daily, or feed them once or twice a day. This is the time for every politician to suspend his stealing tactics and face reality. This lockdown, if elongated, will result to something worse than what we have now If the government won't assume the responsibility of providing for the citizens, especially the poor ones, then we better get ready for chaos. It's inevitable |

obainojazz: Lockdown is they way.. I wish Nigerians embraced technology, things would have been easier.. The situation is not yet critical there if it's only those cases we have. Embrace technology? You think the problem is those who have white collar jobs? There are people who survive with what they earn daily. Food vendors, hawkers, cobblers and the rest. How will these people survive? We cannot just copy the idea of lockdown because 'Everybody is doing it'. I just pray this 2 weeks flattens the curve. If not, people will begin to come out to survive. Maybe na this lockdown go start the revolution sef |

Greenbullet: Their call center keeps referring to the self service option. No naa I used it last weekend. They will definitely refer you to the self service, but you'll have to select the option where you want to speak to a customer care agent It's late already. Maybe you should try tomorrow Better still, quote them on IG and Twitter. Then tomorrow, you can make that call |

Call their customer care. GTB have been very slow in replying mails and their WhatsApp messages since this virus isshh started Normally, after verifying that the transfer was from you and wrong, they'll place a lien on that account and let you know what's next In this era of hardship, i pray the person that received the funds has the fear of God Fear not. Pocohantas, is there still hope for a reversal? |

You be mumu, this is the last reply I'll give to you, you're not worth it Was it not you that said you can buy a car of 5 million this minute? Was it not you that said you will have to save for 365 days to spend 3.5 million on a car? Was it not you that said this thread is overhyped (even after seeing the title as 1,200,000 or less) You just want attention. Stupid, irrelevant attention. Why don't you go to your neighborhood and pick a car that suits your taste? Why are you here? Instead of displaying a shambolic history of foolishness, take a walk around your neighborhood, and you'll see cars that suit your financial knowledge and taste Nonsense boy |

Priorities differ, it's not my priority for now You can buy a 5 million naira car this minute, but you'll need to save for a year to fork out 3.5 million abi? Diegobonito: Sorry to say but this thread is overhyped somehow, even the owner doesn't reply most messages, lol God knows i'll never patronize such a dealer. It's good cars and i don't have a car yet but i don't think i'll take 85% of cars posted here, this one be say you go buy car come dey admire another car that passes by, God forbid o. They're good cars nonetheless but i've got taste, i'd rather save for a year and fork out 3.5m and buy a modern car with fine interior (It matters the most) than buy most of the ugly looking cars with ugly interior i see here. Nice cars though for people with a budget. It's my opinion but insults are welcomed. You don't have a car yet You haven't even had your "imaginary" 3.5m But then, it feels good to come and talk down on one's hustle and people's choices It's not your fault. The lockdown is affecting my thinking too |
