TMKsouth: SA is the only country in the world expected to not guard its borders or put its citizens ahead of non-nationals. Otherwise it's labelled xenophobic.
Yes! And the hypocrisy of it is that Africans are deported from other Africans countries everyday for being there without documentation. But here in SA they want us to accept illegal immigrants.I'm glad that South Africans are seeing through the bullshit though, now all we need is a leader that will rid us the bloodsucking pests (excuse my language)
TMKsouth: Yes, I'm South African. Metro police in Joburg does disturb street hawking by unlicensed traders but they are too corrupt themselves (the jmpd) . In October there'll be local elections to choose new mayors and anti-foreigner parties are expected to win and take out the ANC, so things will get tougher for traders.
But the ANC is also already promising to limit foreigners in the labour market. Look at the attachment.
Why are they calling them controversial laws? What's controversial about doing things the right way?
TMKsouth: I think for security reasons, I'm not sure. Remember it became very controversial coz of paedophilia and parents feared for the safety of their children. So I guess the bad press caused it's demise.
MODIFIED: This article says it closed because of Facebook and WhatsApp competition. But by then it had shed 6 million users. So I still maintain that's coz of the bad publicity
TMKsouth: You sell MTN airtime on busy roads dude , that's why u don't have time to be online or create threads. Unlike u I'm very confident in my job and comfortable enough in my lifestyle to try convince a stranger in far away Nigeria that I'm not poor or unemployed It's u I'm worried about though after that braggadocious last paragraph of yours
Anyway, NL was created for people to post threads and that's exactly what I'm doing, otherwise they would put up a limit per person. So not my baby that you're not creative enough to come up with interesting threads. And admit it, I'm very good at interesting threads - that's why you're always in them
So, your attempts at insulting me... water off my back.
TMKsouth: We had MXIT a decade before NL, so everyone else in Africa is just copying off that. Do u remember how big MXIT was? Or were u still a little babatjie Jace ?
That was our WhatsApp back then but why did they discontinue MXIT?
I get what he was trying to say - we get it alot u know (why are u on NL, go to Randland ). Just came out seriously convoluted. Most definitely codeine
Just because NL was created they think we all should have our own? That just silly.
And there are 200 million of them (underestimate) vs 40 million black South Africans . Tell me who's losing this battle, where Goliath is busy competing with David.
200 million vs 40 million 60 years of freedom vs 27 years of freedom
1. Black government inherited a bankrupt SA from whites in 1994 to the tune of $30 B. Today SA has surplus reserves of over $60B. As a result, SA was invited to join the G20 most powerful countries during Mbeki's presidency (only African country) and to BRICS most important emerging economies during Zuma's time (only African country).
Is Nigeria in the G20 or BRICS?
2. South Africa beat Nigeria to head the African Union Secretariat, hence Madame Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma was the face of Africa for 8 years.
3. South Africa recently contested against and beat Nigeria to head up the new powerful African Continental Free Trade Area headquartered in Ghana. Wamkele Mene is in charge of Africa.
4. Patrice Motsepe (South African) is the new head of African football - CAF.
5. Successive Nigerian governments have been unable to retaliate against SA when xenophobic attacks flare up because they know SA will kick their butts (see attachment).
6. Although Nigeria currently leads in terms of entertainment in Africa, their quality productions are produced in SA. South Africa is also Nigeria's biggest entertainment rival on the continent.
7. Nigeria has 2 Grammy Awards (recently won). South Africa has 7 (Ladysmith Black Mambazo/Soweto Gospel Choir)
8. South Africa has 2 Oscar Awards (Tsotsi/My Octopus Teacher) and multiple Oscar nominations. Nigeria has none.
9. Nigeria beats South Africa in football, but South Africa arguably has the continent's richest and most admired league. It is black owned.
10. Since black rule South Africa has hosted 3 of the world's 4 most prestigious sporting events - FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup and also narrowly lost bid to host the Olympics. Nigeria hasn't hosted anything worth mentioning on the world stage.
11. Despite xenophobia, black South Africans can travel anywhere in the world and be warmly welcomed and treated with admiration because of Nelson Mandela. Nigerians are treated with suspicion everywhere they go in the world.
12. Black South Africans don't travel to Nigeria for economic opportunities or even leisure. Nigerians are economic refugees in South Africa and spend all day at Abuja embassy begging for an SA visa.
Let me park it here for now. Do you need more? And please don't mention whites in your response. This is black vs black
Well...damn!
On a serious note,I don't even understand why these guys insist on comparing themselves with us.We playing chess and they're playing checkers lol
Like Jay z said... "we don't shoot in the same basket, don't pay the same taxes"
TMKsouth: We must admit the guy knows how to put on a show Last week was the first time ever PAP trended on Twitter. He did the same thing with the SA parliament - Parliament TV received it's highest ratings ever during the final Zuma Must Fall years, people began joking it should begin showing adverts.
Trust, more people are tuning in tomorrow - highest ratings ever for PAP
But to agree with you he does sway wherever the wind is blowing. He subscribes to the motto that there are never permanent friends or enemies in politics if you want to succeed.
Yep! One thing I'll give him is that he has this ability to attract the audience to tune in to everything he's involved in,even those who hate his guts will be turning up.
I laughed when the other gentleman said "you have military coupes in your countries but you want to lead"
TMKsouth: Malema: "We don't go to other people's countries uninvited and have no intention of coming to your countries"
But it's like us here on NL Jace. We try to engage Nigerians nicely and then you get a barrage of negativity back. And then you're forced to remind people they live in a kakhole.
PAP is gonna expose Malema's inconsistent Pan-African rhetoric in SA, where he defends foreign township criminals while he stays in luxury in Sandton but ridicules South Africans frustrated with crime.
He's getting a taste of what it's like living in downtown Johannesburg or Diepsloot right there in PAP He's even threatening to kill them. He just gave xenophobes a lot of ammunition, I tell u.
This just proves that the guy sways in whatever direction the wind is blowing in.The heartwarming affection he was showing to his "African brothers" did not pay off now he wants to kill them LoL.
Now he has given the "xenophobes" more than enough legs to stand on .And I must say I'm loving any minute of it I even wish this PAP circus was held at regular basis just to see for how long will Malema hold on to the borderless Africa pipe dream.
Samyj247: make dem separate sef make I de visit cape town without fear, instead of visiting the stupid south Africa that's known to kill and chase blacks in the name of xenophobia.
TMKsouth: Can he really justify death threats? Look at his 'kill for Zuma' comments, he backtracked on that.
He won't perform well in the elections, he's reached the ceiling at 10% and 2019 was proof of that. Even though the DA has since imploded its black voters are repulsed by the EFF and will vote ActionSA. So Mashaba is the guy to watch.
He may be a fool but don't underestimate his ability to manipulate the brains of the masses. With the Zuma thing he only backtracked because they kicked him out.
Good points you brought up but let's wait for the polls to speak for themselves. And yes I'm going with Mashaba nna
TMKsouth: How's he gonna lecture 'xenophobes' after this? He said they must learn how to shela instead of complaining about foreigners. Now he's the one killing them. He's never threatened to kill anyone in the SA parliament. Shows he doesn't value African lives like he always preaches. #EFFisFinished
He will have an excuse to justify it like he always does and go back to screaming his lungs out about how we should tolerate each other as Africans.
Can't wait to see how far the EFF goes in these coming elections.
