War journalism , that was my dream while I was young and naive still studying. But the journalism industry (even media industry) is very small in SA so you need to hustle outside of it. So sometimes it's not coz we working on our own terms. Sad really.

Yeah SA media is pretty much dog-eat-dog valley.Nontheless I think we still have the best media in the continent.In other countries they only have one government controlled channel so freedom of press is hardly practiced
