Gaming is a fun and interactive activity, but once in a while something bad happens that spoils all the fun. It can make you sad or angry and sometimes it makes you feel like smashing your controller on a wall.

  My saddest moment:
        When I found out that Disney had bought the rights to Star Wars and cancelled Star Wars 1313.

My angry moments:
       Whenever I finish a hard level in GTA and NEPA takes light before I save.

Some guys are fond of saying stupid and meaningless things just to get a girls attention. These range from lame pickup lines to false promises and a host of other dumb stuff. Some even go as far as saying stuff like "I would die without your love" or "My heart would stop beating if you left me".

Seriously, are you going to drop dead if your girlfriend leaves you?. You will probably be sad,depressed and feel miserable that's normal. But you're not suffer cardiac arrest just because she said no.

Personally, I think guys should be more sincere to women, if you love her say so, if you cherish her tell her that, there's no need to twist words around and use vague expressions that have little or no meaning.
Anyway, that's what I think, what are your thoughts on this and what's the most stupid thing you've heard a guy say to a girl.

Shame on you all for mocking Nollywood. Go and watch American special effects from 50s, 60s, 70s and even 80s and see how bad they were.

Our film industry is young, nascent, operating with a little budget. And all you can do is mock it constantly. It's just the same way we mock our Aba made things.

Instead of supporting Nigeria with heart and might, we always mock our country. We should be proud of what we have, support it, acknowledge that it can be better, and encourage it to be better.

We rather take the easy route and mock ourselves, supporting other people who have had their own struggles before us. Smh

Nigerians won't mock Nollywood movies when they are good. Did anybody mock Half of a Yellow Sun or October 1 or Dry, is anybody mocking The CEO?.

They don't because those movies are good and were directed by Nigerians who know how to create movies with good quality. This movie on the other hand doesn't deliver and because of that we just can't give it the same level of prestige as the others.

When movies are good we cheer when movies are bad we complain it's the same for Hollywood, Bollywood or any other industry.

When is the core of Nollywood going to improve? As terrible as this is there are Nigerians who will prefer it to the original

There are a lot of Nigerian accents some are influenced by English, others by Pidgin and our numerous native languages. Just like in any other country(Britain and America included) some sound good and some don't. I don't have beef with any accent just do what feels natural to you

I used to be addicted to Facebook but ever since I joined Nairaland, I only visit Facebook once a day. This has nothing to do with patriotism but simply because I've already learned so much and I'm still learning here on Nairaland. To some extent, Nairaland has improved my intellect more than Facebook.
But there are a few things Nairaland should learn from Facebook. One of them is the absence of DELETE. Why can't we completely delete any post we don't need or probably posted by mistake or in a wrong section? I only dislike Nairaland for this. Seun and co pls take note.

Can a social media app really break a relationship?. Read this story:

  A friend of mine met a girl, proposed to her, she accepted and they started dating. A couple weeks later she decided to test his faithfulness. She created a fake 2go account and added the guy. She was flirting with him online and when he got receptive she got angry and dumped him.

  A couple weeks later they got reconciled and they dated for a while before the next crisis. The cause of the problem; he slept off while chatting with her on 2go. She got angry and dumped him again. All this happened in less than 3 months.

  I think it's funny that a relationship can get broken because of 2go but it happens. Personally, I don't think it's right to break off a relationship just because a guy slept off while chatting that's a bit immature. Anyway I'd like your thoughts on this and please share any similar experience you've had relating to this issue .
