That would mean the flood story isn't original. And to make matters worse, the story of the flood is not even scientifically and historically correct.

About the Code of Hammurabi, it predated the bible also. Some of the laws found in the Torah, the first five books of the Bible copied the Code. Moses, the supposed author of the Torah, lived in the 15th century b.c.e., roughly 300 years after Hammurabi. The Bible says that Moses received his laws by divine revelation but it was all from Code of Hammurabi.
One of the most famous provision in the Code of Hammurabi, and the most alike to that of the Bible, is the law about an “eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth.” “If a man put out the eye of another man, his eye shall be put out. The writing of the Epic of Gilgamesh is dated to as early as the Third Dynasty of Ur (about 2100 B.C.). I clearly told you the bible copied many books which predated it, including those 2 books I mentioned and the dead sea scrolls. The flood story was the stand-out example. And the Epic was written thousands of years before the bible was written.

The bible was collated by religious folks like bishops etc at the behest of Emperor Constantine, who was amongst the first people to make christianity as an organized religion. And it was collated from many books. The actual writers of those books are anonymous, some of the books are Epic of Gilgamesh, Code of Hammurabi etc.
