Our Man of Culture in the Royal Family has been arrested for toto-related offenses in the company of Jeff Epstein. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Never would I have thought I'd see a member of the Royal Family getting led away by police officers, but that is exactly what happened a few minutes ago in the UK

RIP to the people who lost their lives. I hope their families find comfort amid their grief.

Many Nigerians have little regard for science, technology, and safety; this is something we see on a daily basis. Be educated, stay well-read, learn about the world, and be wise!
No need for science or common sense because in Nigeria, "God forbid bad ting", is the mantra we live by.

Sad but true. The whole nation of Nigeria is unsafe to travel, and increasingly, unsafe to stay home. Uncle Sam showed up in the nick of time. A monstrous C130 US Airforce military transport aircraft lumbered over Lagos metropolis a few moments ago on this February 18th evening, evidently bound for its Accra base.

Those four gigantic turboprop engines emit a ground-shaking reverberant moan that is felt as much as heard, even when the cavernous behemoth is cruising at 20 thousand feet. These are imposing birds of war now converging on Nigeria to enforce peace in 2026.

God bless Nigeria and God Bless the USA.

Politics › Re: Armed Bandits Flog Kidnapped NSCDC Officer In Ekiti Forest by Jakumo(m):
Far too many of Nairaland's news commentators are ready with a political statement as their finger-pointing opinion whenever a new terror attack is reported anywhere in Nigeria.

The WHOLE of Nigeria is under siege by bloodthirsty Islamist terror army that is funded in part by Arab sheikhdoms with covetous eyes on the oil fields of Nigeria as a conquered caliphate , in part by northern Nigerian embezzlement-enriched politicians of clandestine Islamist allegiance, and in part by outlaw gangs of Chinese Triad precious metal miners and smugglers.

By their satellite imagery, Uncle Sam shalt knoweth them, and then he shalt SMITE them with a righteous vengeance, if I may wax poetic..

The respondents to this discussion who parrot those same old worn-out accusations at the current Nigerian head-of-state every single time a terror attack occurs in Nigeria, are no different from the Americans who blame Donald Trump whenever their car develops a flat tire in the super market parking-lot.

There is NO way for ANY government in power can guarantee the security of ALL its citizens ESPECIALLY when a guerilla war of attrition is in progress, as is the case in Nigeria. The wisest option available to ANY nation's leader when facing coordinated attack by the arrayed forces of evil, is seek help from the nation whose support will come with the least potential drawbacks in the near, and long-term future. That nation is the good old US of A.

Choosing America and NOT China or Russia as a military partner during Nigeria's war on terror is precisely why Nigerian President deserves commendation and NOT condemnation, for his invoking Uncle Sam's formidable military might, as an urgently needed counterbalance to stem an Islamist invasion of plunder, pillage and mass homicide that could ultimately obliterate electoral democracy in Nigeria, while turning Africa's largest black nation into a pariah Islamist rogue state like Afghanistan, where terror extremists converge from the world around to undergo military training in preparation for terror attacks against civilians in The West.

The USA and the democratic West will never stand by and watch passively while Nigeria is overrun by the marauding Islamist psychopaths laying siege at will. Stay tuned, and watch what begins to unfold when all America's mission-specific military hardware is up and running on Nigerian soil.

Fasten your seatbelts, Pellow Kwantiri-Mans, for some parts of Nigeria are about to board an E-Ticket major-turbulence wild ride real soon.

Seems their concentration will be in the North. I find it hard to see any such help stopping an event like this in Ekiti State.

Not that I believe their intervention anywhere is going to accomplish anything as you know.
These Islamist gunmen roam the entire hinterland of Nigeria, often on foot, so the more of them that are sent to paradise to collect their allocations of 72 in northern Nigeria's drone-targeted zones, the fewer of the vampires will show up to wreak mayhem in the south of Nigeria.

Notice that the stick impacts are aimed at the HEAD of the captured victim. This type of prolonged torture usually continues until the victim loses consciousness from the pain and shock, at which point the assailants commit another murder.

These are the sadistic savages that American forces are on Nigerian soil to surgically destroy, one drone-strike at a time, so the usual "America has a motive" crew that whine and moan about those US boots on Nigerian soil, would do best to kindly refrain from expressing their lame arguments in this discussion thread.

This Natasha of a woman needs to calm down. She is doing too much and her temperament is not something to write home about.
When many women hit 40 years old, they look in the mirror and HATE what they see. When they go outside and see the way beautiful young women in their early twenties cast a spell over men, even deeper self-hatred stews in the heart of the over-50 woman. This degenerative condition of perpetual bitterness, repressed rage and frustration only gets worse with time. Fear the old woman, and you will live long.

She becomes bitter.

She becomes vengeful.

She becomes arrogant.

She hates more people than the number she can tolerate.

Most of all, she will do ANYTHING for attention, since it is her having been rendered invisible by old age that hurts her the most, as she looks back wistfully towards her long lost youthful years when she was the center of attention, at least in her mind's eye.
Politics › Re: Immigration Service Allowed 5 Deported Chinese To Re-enter Nigeria by Jakumo(m):
These Chinese lithium and gold miners are the financiers and quartermasters of Islamist terror gangs marauding civilian dwellings and highways all over northern Nigeria.

Since the Chinese are linked to terror, the only question that remains to be asked is whether they are REPENTANT for the hundreds of innocent deaths attributed to their rented Islamist gunmen, and for their illegal mining, theft and smuggling BILLIONS of dollars worth of Nigeria's precious metals.

If the Chinese culprits declare that they are REPENTANT, and that they are willing to be REHABILITATED, they might qualify to earn a government pension after being re-admitted into Nigeria as a reward for their actively facilitating massacres to displace people from lands where precious metals were discovered by illegal Chinese mining plunderers.

There is no cause for alarm, Pellow Kwantirrimans.

The young gentlemen sporting AK47 assault rifles are EITHER repentant and automatically exonerated Fulani terrorists who retired on a generous government pension after killing hundreds of innocent people and stealing their ancestral land, OR they are Nigeria's First Class citizens, our honorable cattle herdsmen-cum-kidnappers, who are AUTHORIZED from ABOVE to brandish fully loaded AK47 rifles as fashion accessories wherever they go, even on occasions when cows do not grace the occasion.

Politics › Re: US Bill On Nigeria Claims Chinese Illegal Miners Pay Fulani Militias For... by Jakumo(m): 1:19pm On Feb 13
PAQ:
This is why the Chinese are able to underprice their products compared to their competitors. They obtain raw materials at little to no cost, often through illegal mining activities across Africa, while avoiding taxes and taking advantage of extremely cheap labor. Labor in China is already inexpensive, but in some parts of Africa it is almost like slavery when these Asians are the bosses.
This is an intelligently constructed analysis that would not be apparent to the casual observer. Chinese citizens' willingness, likely with the tacit approval of the Communist China government, to offer bribes and flagrantly break laws worldwide in furtherance of their obsessive and environmentally ruinous mining capers, and to have people killed by the score in Africa so they can grab natural resources, is a largely hidden aspect to the Chinese industrial "success story".

Former Edo Sate Governor Oshiomole is on record confirming that illegal Chinese miners plundering mineral resources in northern Nigeria's Zamfara State, routinely use low-flying helicopters to ferry into Nigeria light infantry weapons that arm Islamist marauders tasked with depopulating areas where the Chinese detect mineral resources. Those same low-altitude helicopter flights are used to spirit away billions of dollars worth of precious minerals such as tantalite, lithium and gold from those northern Nigerian outlaw states, to destinations far beyond Nigeria's territorial demarcations.

High-ranking northern Nigerian politicians of unscrupulous character harboring Islamist sympathies are working hand-in-hand with the Chinese Triad gangsters in perpetrating this multi-billion dollar ransack of Nigeria's natural resources. US military intelligence gathering operations in Nigeria have confirmed these well-documented crimes long ago, and thankfully have decided to formally terminate the racket and truncate any further hemorrhage of .Nigeria's national wealth by those Triad gangs swarming Africa.

An average Chinese will do whatever it takes to secure his source of income.
Africa and Nigeria in particular are regarded as the promised land, even as they express open loathing for Africa's indigenous populations, because impunity in the wake of any crime including multiple homicide, can be purchased cheaply in Africa. Crimes that would attract the death penalty in their homeland will qualify those same amoral criminals for chieftaincy titles in Nigeria.

So apt. The Chinese pay whoever needs to be paid.
The concept of having a human conscience is completely alien to them as they mine precious metals using the most environmentally destructive methods known to man, while arming Islamist marauders to murderously depopulate areas where their low-flying aircraft detect lithium, tantalite, or gold. These folks are running amok in Nigeria and MUST be checkmated with surgical precision.

It is an enormous relief to see that a new sheriff is in town to stop the escalating Sino-financed bloodbath now being witnessed in northern Nigeria's lawless badlands that are begging for drone strikes.

School is not a scam. I strongly believe every child should complete at least secondary school before venturing into anything else, whether digital skills, entrepreneurship, or handwork. Having an SSCE should be the minimum foundation you can give yourself.

Education helps you understand the basics of life, improves your ability to reason, communicate, and make better decisions. Whatever path you choose after secondary school, be it tech, trades, or business, your level of education will always show in the way you think and how you handle your craft.

School is important. It builds discipline, structure, exposure, and the confidence to navigate the world. And even in the handiwork industry, the difference is clear between someone who is educated and someone who isn’t.
This is a perfect summation of why there must be NO compromise when it comes to earning basic literacy skills in secondary (high) school at a bare minimum, and tertiary university education ideally.

Any person who makes it big at a young age in a depressed economy like Nigeria, and who doesn't want to deal with beggars in a regular school campus, MUST hire a home tutor in order to attain a secondary school level of literacy. Defaulting to illiteracy from a young age is a tragic road to travel.
