My comment is not about most parts of Nigeria. My comment is about Lagos. Lagos State is relatively safe. Other mega cities around the world operate 24/7.

I also refer specifically to Lagos when I look back over crime statistics recorded at night in Lagos, as compared with those that occur in daylight.

Anyway, if the security situation in Nigeria and in Lagos improves, then certainly round-the-clock industry is the engine of a buoyant economy.
