SmartPolician:
People go really suffer oh!

A state like Lagos should develop a statewide strategy that encourages companies to operate 24/7. That way, this idea of rush hour is totally eliminated.

Already, many people don't sleep in Lagos as you can come out at 3am and catch a bus, but there's no state support for 24/7 operation.
A night commute would be perilous in most parts of Nigeria the way it is right now regarding the kidnap industry, but the idea of companies operating 3 shifts around the clock would boost productivity and dramatically reduce traffic congestion, in an ideal and safe society.

Day shift : 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm
Night shift : 5pm to 1am, an hour after midnight.
Graveyard shift : Midnight to 8am

This is a good start.

I see three good terrorists. Good and dead as they should be.

I see some serious firepower seized from the terrorists. A belt-fed machine gun and the usual assortment of infantry rifles.

These terrorists had major bloodshed on their agenda, but the tables got turned on them and they were sent to Paradise 72 instead.

Razzness:
But what do they stand to gain? Those countries are 20 times richer than Nigeria and many African countries put together.

Nigeria can never be an Islamic state, we are just too secular for that. Anyone with half a brain can see that. Even Northern Muslims do not fully accept Shari'a, because they know it's regressive. they have enjoyed democracy and wouldn't go back to it.
I hope that the forces of sanity will prevent Islamist forces of evil from advancing across the entire nation of Nigeria, taking one town after another as they are doing right now in Mali, where Islamist rebels are approaching within artillery range of the capital city of Bamako.

Razzness:
Killings, killings, everyday! These terrorists no dey tire. Sometimes, I ask myself what do these guys hope to achieve? Do they want an independent Northern Nigeria governed by Shari'a? Do they want to islamize Nigeria? I just don't get it because they more I think about it, the more I realize none of this is possible.
The UAE and other Arab theocracies DO want to destroy democracy in Nigeria and other African nations so as to impose sharia law enforced by an Islamist puppet/proxy regime that will allow Arab adventurers to gain more direct access to Nigeria's oil wealth.

The UAE is on record as currently funding the genocide in Sudan in which black Sudanese are massacred by Islamist Arab-funded militias on an industrial scale that has thus far been largely ignored by the mainstream press. The Sudan treatment is planned for Nigeria, and that is why the pro-secular democracy counterbalance of US military forces in Nigeria is so crucially important right now.

Mtcheeeew
Regardless of the government in power in ANY democratically governed country such as Nigeria, the opposition parties practice a noise-making tradition of blaming the ruling party and national leader for ALL outbreaks of violence, calamities, or economic downturns.

This reflex, knee-jerk reaction of blaming the current Nigerian leadership every time terrorists attack in Nigeria, is in keeping with that tradition of blaming the government in power in a bid to influence the outcome of future elections.

Hopefully US forces will provide phone numbers where Nigerians can call direct for air strikes without having to wonder whether such cries for help are reaching the right ears. Even the smallest Nigerian village is home to may people with phones, so a helpline of this sort will save lives.

after hitting, where do they run to that they cannot be tracked?
Motorcycles can travel vast distances across Nigeria's hinterland while only on rare occasion, crossing a tarred road. Nomadic Fulani cattle herdsmen already know the geography of Nigeria's vast plains and deep forests in far greater detail than those who live in towns amid the endless landscapes that the Fulani terrorists and cattle herdsmen call home.

Roving terror gangs would best be identified and fragmented with precise air- strikes that deny the outlaws the luxury of laying ambush for pursuing forces. America's military presence in Nigeria will undoubtedly result in a ramping up of air-strikes against fixed and moving targets, over the coming months. These aerial bombardments will be administered collaboratively between Nigerian and American military forces.

Written by Tinubu bot?

Terrorists that use only motorcycles to attack Nigerian military base is what you call well financed?

Truth sets free while lying will keep you in bondage.

What's the budget of security sector? Don't we have airplanes?
No surveillance drones?

A country with a president that is not sick will definitely finish these ragtag terrorists.

Israel will eradicate Boko Haram ISWAP and bandits if given the opportunity.

It's only in Nigeria that terrorists will kidnap hundreds of people and no drones or airplanes will be launched to track their movements.

Whenever I see how these terrorists use motorcycles to attack, I keep saying that would have been an opportunity to finish them. If surveillance drones were available, it should pick out possible movements of large numbers of motorcycles and alert is sent for airplane to get airborne for annihilation of these ragtag terrorists.

But continue praising the inept Tinubu for his bad leadership.
Now that the USA military is stepping into the fray of Nigeria's war on terror, rest assured good news is on the way VERY soon.
Politics › Re: At Least 50 People Killed By Terrorists On Bike In Zamfara by Jakumo(m):
Nigeria is at war against terrorist forces that are well financed and highly motivated to impose by force of arms on ALL nations of West Africa, a violent and extremist version of Islamist caliphate dictatorship. The growing US military presence in Nigeria is testimony to the sincerity of purpose Nigeria's current administration has brought to bear in this war on terror.

Regardless of which of Nigeria's political parties happens to be in power, terrorist strikes employing hit-and-run guerilla tactics CANNOT be eliminated entirely, despite all security precautions taken. The free movement of civilians along any nation's highways cannot be prohibited in the name of preventing terrorist attacks, while it would be numerically impossible to garrison battle-ready federal troops tasked with protecting ALL towns and villages of the land.

The current Nigerian president is attuned to the urgency of the task at hand, and is responding with the alacrity that the security threat to Nigeria necessitates, by welcoming military assistance from the USA and wisely NOT from Russia, China, or Turkey, for reasons too many to list here.

Declassifying those files will give the world a sigh of relief about whether or not aliens do exist. It will further shift our focus from irrelevant issue. And Hollywood will have a rendezvous with reality. Sci Fi movies will gradually take on a more realistic views as against the lies and fictions that were derived from years of classified pseudo existence of extra terrestrials. The world has been lied to for ages. I could only imagine what else will take the place of aliens in movies.
The rumor mill is on fire with speculation about Stephen Spielberg's new movie entitled "Disclosure Day", that will hit cinemas this coming June 12th, 2026. The movie's title alone, considered along with former US President Obama's recent casual confirmation that aliens DO exist, and current US President Trump's vow to release all previously-classified UFO related material, makes for tantalizing possibilities of what could unfold before a global audience in the coming months.

Foreign Affairs › Re: The CIA's Secret Plan To Assassinate Julian Assange by Jakumo(m): 8:35pm On Feb 20
GildedTruth:
The 'Gilded Truth' is that the CIA didn't spend hundreds of millions of dollars to hunt Assange because of his personal character-they did it because of the Vault 7 files and the Collateral Murder footage he released.

Whether you like the man or not is irrelevant to the precedent being set. If a state can kidnap or 'send to his maker' a journalist for exposing war crimes, then
'Truth' itself becomes a luxury we can no longer afford. I am not defending a man; I am defending the right to know what the powerful are doing in our names.

Character assassination is the oldest trick in the book to distract from the actual assassination of transparency. Watch the video again-look at the memos, not the man.
By his acts of broadcasting US military secrets pertaining to ongoing military and intelligence operations in the Middle East, Julian Asange made a career out of endangering the lives of confidential sources, moles, and intelligence operatives, with the result that quite a few such key individuals died in gruesome ways as a DIRECT consequence of Julius Assange's publicity-seeking antics online.

Mr. Assange's life sentence in jail is retributive but fair, considering the damage that talkative buffoon did to America's covert endeavors on the world stage. Regardless of what landed Mr. Assange in the pokey for life, the sex offender bid farewell to the last vestiges of his sanity during those years he squatted as an unwelcome guest that was holed up in a London embassy premises, during which time he smeared the walls with his own solid waste, and refused to bathe for months at a time.

In short, Mr. Assange is today a certifiable lunatic who belongs behind bars under appropriate medication and supervision, until such time as hell freezes over, to atone for his sins that stained his hands with the blood of many.

This is very true. The only word that makes sense to a hungry man is "food".

This largely explains why there is zero curiosity about alien life in most of Africa.

The only word that computes in the brain of a hungry man is "food."

Even if an alien flying saucer landed in a typical Africa town, nobody would bother to go and look at the vehicle UNLESS it is unloading FOOD.

Never in living memory has the blood brother of the reigning Monarch of England been arrested and charged with a crime. This chapter of UK history is without precedent, and will be recalled by scholars for generations to come.

Pressure will no doubt be mounted on His Majesty King Charles, to abdicate the throne on health grounds, so that Prince William and Princess Katherine can answer the call of destiny in England. A reign of King William in our time will breathe new life into the Royal Family and reassure the British public that their traditional institutions are time-tested for long-term resilience.

The British Monarchy is a revered tradition that survived world wars and will outlive us all, regardless of what tabloid-worthy naughtiness individual renegade members of the Royal Family may commit at their own personal peril.

Long Live King Charles
Long Live King-in-Waiting William, and Princess Katherine
God bless The United Kingdom
