What good will that "big name" accomplish once Kanu is locked away in jail for 30 years for his role in many deaths throughout Igbo land ?

The big difference between Sunday Igboho and Nazi Nnamdi Kanu is that while Sunday Igboho's speeches never resulted in anyone being killed, Nazi Kanu's well-documented calls for "burning down" Nigeria and for the killing of both civilians and police officers in Igboland DID in fact lead to widespread bloodshed and murder.

Setting aside the political theme of this case, it is far more likely that Kanu will be prosecuted on charges of instigating murder, or in legal terminology, of being an "instigator and facilitator" in countless murders, any of which could potentially qualify Kanu for a date with the hangman on charges of culpable capital homicide, IF the letter of the law is to be followed.

In short, Sunday Igboho's hands are clean from a court room prosecutor's standpoint, while Kanu's hands are covered in the blood of innocent Igbo people AS WELL AS the blood of police and military officers killed by people goaded to murder by Kanu's online ranting.

He is making a very serious and costly mistake by this act of contempt. Upon his arraignment and re-arraignment, the provisions of the law he violated were read to him to which he replied that he understood and was not guilty. He can't turn around and be asking under which law is he being tried. Also, those laws were in existence as at the time he violated them. Notwithstanding that some of them had been repealed, he is being correctly tried under those laws.
It is important that anyone with a case in court learns from what is about to befall Kanu. The arrogance, stupidity, and futility of sacking one's lawyers in order to represent oneself in court will become evident when Kanu's very long jail sentence is handed down by the presiding judge.

The punishment that Kanu will endure as a direct result of his screaming personal insults at the presiding judge, while also DARING the judge to jail him, will be a far longer term of imprisonment than would have been handed down IF ONLY Kanu had taken a calmer, repectful, and less confrontational attitude.

In short, Kanu's fate is sealed with all these outbursts in court. This man will soon be silenced and forgotten in jail, where he can shout and scream as loud as he likes until he runs out of willpower to continue that pointless waste of energy.

This mentality of "I shout and scream louder than onlookers, therefore I am in the right" is a uniquely Nigerian delusion that plays out in airports and offices worldwide, but all with the same result of zero benefits for the noise maker.

Of course ibo lives cut short by Kanu's ipob goons means nothing.

If you can't even pretend you care of the lives of your fellow ibos, is it northern Christians whom you guys have been mocking and insulting and claiming their sufferings is karma for fighting against Biafra.

You can't hide your hypocrisy and no one will be foolish to believe you care about Christians in northern Nigeria.
This is the aspect of Kanu's blind support by SOME Igbos that I find utterly baffling. Kanu's gunmen have killed so many Igbo people whose only crime was trying to get out of their homes on Mondays, in defiance of Kanu's illegal orders that FORBADE them from going outdoors.

Despite that direct involvement in the killing of Igbo people, many of the same Igbo people STILL worship that killer as though he is a deity.

Anyway, not worry, Kanu will rot in jail and will soon be forgotten in exactly the same way that Simon Ekpa has become a mere footnote of past irrelevant history, as he languishes in a Finnish jail from where Mr. Ekpa will be DEPORTED to face ANOTHER jail sentence in Nigeria.

The Boko boys will soon be helped on their journey to paradise by US drones, while Kanu will soon go to jail for 40 years. Now that, is real justice.

Kanu's mental illness prevents him from comprehending that having a loud voice and shouting like a lunatic in court will only add more years to his jail sentence. All the same, there cannot be a shred of sympathy for Nazi Kanu from anybody that is aware of the killings that Kanu instigated in his own homeland with his online urgings.

Personally.... he needs to be locked away for life for treason. Taking politics off the table ... I also believe he belongs in prison because he's a con man and have conned many of his own people by urging them to obtain a Biafra Passport ... which was soon going to be recognized by several countries. Has he used his? Those who bought ... I'm sorry to raise an unpleasant truth and make you suffer in silence. His IPOB militants who been suppressing his own people should break him out of prison or he should contact the MOSSAD to do the needful.
This picture says all that needs to me known about Kanu's pathological arrogance and delusions of grandeur, but I will only add that he is an absolutely vile and horrid human being who has ZERO regard for the lives of his own people. He does deserve to face multiple murder counts, and then it will be up to the judge to sentence him to 50 years in prison as opposed to death by hanging right away, which is really what Kanu deserves as his reward for urging those gunmen to murder so many innocent people in Igbo land.

Good question sir, and here is your answer. Sunday Igboho never once tried to impose any ridiculous and illegal "sit-at-home" house arrest onhis own people as Kanu did in Igboland, but more importantly Sunday Igbopho never once urged civilian gunmen to shoot his own people, as Kanu did multiple times in Igbo land, while chilling in his UK adopted home where he imagined he could advocate mass murder and get away with it.

Kanu has multiple MURDER charges to face, while at the very worst, Sunday Igboho was only ever "guilty" of expressing separatist ideology in a non-violent way.

At heart, Big Don Trump is a showman. For dramatic effect The US President is likely to instruct the Department of War to orchestrate a MULTITUDE of drone-launched missile strikes SIMULTANEOUSLY to utterly level a long list of locations spread out across Nigeria's Benue and Plateau States' of Middle Belt Nigeria, where terrorist camps and land grabbers will be bombarded, while at that same moment in time, the heaviest and most sustained drone attacks will be brought to bear against terrorist enclaves, convoys and formations in Nigeria's northern desert scrubland.

The psychological impact of mass culling hundreds of terrorists in the first HOUR of America's promised Nigerian campaign, cannot be overstated.

The Nigerian military does have its own drone program that is already active against the terror invasion, BUT the bandit/terrorist enemy is heavily financed by Middle Eastern money that supports the forcible conversion of Nigeria and other African nations from electoral democracies, to Sharia law fundamentalist dictatorships. The eradication of this growing and spreading terrorist threat will be accomplished most efficiently by the USA, and with a minimum of collateral damage.

The assistance of the USA to quell the Islamic terror invasion of Nigeria is overdue and most welcome. Islamist terror is a global problem with roots traveling even further back than the September 11th, 2001 terror attacks in New York. America cannot afford to sit back and watch West Africa become a training ground for Islamist terror gangs that pose a grave threat to ALL our planet's electoral democracies. The monster must be exterminated with extreme prejudice QUICKLY and Uncle Sam is in Nigeria now for that specific purpose.

Regardless of what President Big Don Trump says about America's plans to militarily safeguard Nigeria's Christian communities from genocide by Islamist terror gangs, it is 95% certain that NO American soldiers or military vehicles will ever patrol the streets of any Nigerian city or town.

The evolution of drone technology and now drone SWARM warfare, has relegated the presence of ground troops redundant for the majority of armed conflict scenarios that are in already progress, or about to kick off in any of our planet's political hotspots.

The following video clip posted by a retired US Air Force F16 fighter jet pilot, elaborates in frightening detail the vast selection of war tools at the disposal of the United States Pentagon. Most of the munitions described in this clip can be drone-launched the instant action is approved, with no requirement at all for American troops to set foot anywhere in Nigeria.

The target list that has been compiled by American Department of War strategists, will be updated hourly as events on the ground are relayed to US military intelligence, and when the order to commence firing is communicated, the world will wake up to breaking news of multiple simultaneous drone strikes launched in numerous locations across the breadth of Nigeria to wreak devastating blows on the invading terror gangs in their hideouts, gatherings, or vehicular convoys.

Conventional wisdom might suggest that cannabis use is limited to the "younger generation", yet, cannabis purchase records in legal shops proves that people aged 50 to 80 turned out to be the most frequent cannabis customers in those countries and regions where cannabis is legal to sell to the public.

The reason why older people love cannabis is grounded in medical science, since cannabis is by far the most effective non-addictive pain relief medication known to pharmacology. While opiates may be more powerful pain killers in the short term, overdoses of opiates and addiction to opiates make their use perilous to patients. Here is a medical doctor itemizing the benefits of cannabis to older patients.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGJy_3jSKUU

With industrial hemp and medical marijuana legalized for cultivation and export in Nigeria, older people with pain issues and various age-related ailments will become some of the greatest beneficiaries of this healing plant. The ball is now in the court of the Nigerian National Assembly, to set forth the legal and commercial parameters applicable to the multi-billion-dollar cannabis industry, so that a new era of prosperity can spread across the land.

As much as I despise the terrorism in Nigeria and in spite of my absolute disgust with this present government particularly, any student of history and current affairs must be very wary of American or indeed any Western Imperialist initiative to resolve this issue, especially uninvited.

Very very wary.

Anyone who is not so wary can only be ignorant of history.

Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq all stand as examples within recent living memory. Nowhere has the intervention of these powers proved profitable: it has always resulted in greater human, economic and political disaster. Always.

This of course cannot be unconnected with their dark motives in the first place. No one should be naive enough to think that these racists care a hoot about "Christians in Nigeria."
The Somalia and Sudan models where America projects its power via drone strikes on selected terrorist kingpin targets, but without "boots on the ground" , is the more likely scenario that will play out for Nigeria.

A kidnapper gang leader will be blown to smithereens as he rides with his gang along a dusty road in northern Nigeria.

A convoy of pickup trucks on their way during the dead of night to take over a town in Plateau State will be turned to flaming rubble.

A collection of buildings know to house terror gang members will suffer a massive strike and collapse on all inside without warning.

This selective neutralization by drone strike is a philosophy that has been honed to perfection over decades by the US military, and there can be no question that a target list has already been compiled for action in Nigeria just as soon as the green light is given.

While Trump seems hellbent on a full-scale invasion and a regime change in Venezuela, the plan for Nigeria is likely to be of a lower intensity and more indirect nature whereby the bad actors in Nigeria just erupt in flames one by one until they are all dead or have fled back to their hideouts, never to terrorize again.
Politics › Re: Muslim Terrorism: Why Nigeria Should Accept US Help And Firepower! by Jakumo(m):
Jd1900:
Donald Trump’s recent statement that he has ordered the Pentagon to “prepare for possible action” in Nigeria has, predictably, ignited a storm of reactions. Yet, what’s most striking isn’t the controversy—it’s the irony. After decades of unchecked violence, systemic corruption, and ethno-religious dominance, the Nigerian government and many of its citizens are once again uniting, not to confront the country’s long-standing internal rot, but to reject any external hand that dares to expose it.

For years, the northern Hausa-Fulani political and military establishment has ruled Nigeria through a mix of feudal arrogance and violent enforcement. From the terrorism of Boko Haram and ISWAP to the marauding Fulani herdsmen who terrorize farming communities across the Middle Belt and the South, the pattern is clear: impunity for the perpetrators, indifference from the state, and endless suffering for ordinary Nigerians. Every administration promises reform and peace, yet the machinery of oppression remains firmly in place—anchored in ethnicity, religion, and a warped notion of northern entitlement to power.

Now, when an external power signals willingness to confront these entrenched forces, Nigeria’s elite cry “sovereignty.” Sovereignty? What sovereignty exists in a state where citizens cannot travel safely between two cities, where rural villages are razed weekly, and where the military itself is riddled with ethnic bias and compromise? A nation that has become a playground for terrorists and a graveyard for the innocent cannot claim the moral high ground of independence.

The truth is, Nigeria has long lost control of its own security narrative. Successive governments—civilian and military alike—have either been complicit or too weak to confront the northern power blocs that shelter and sustain these militant networks. The result is a failed internal order masquerading as democracy. The people, exhausted and disillusioned, have grown accustomed to fear as a way of life.

So when the U.S., or any external power, hints at involvement, the immediate reaction should not be blind resistance but sober reflection. Why does Nigeria, blessed with resources, intellect, and talent, remain incapable of securing its own citizens? Why have its leaders allowed the cancer of ethnic terrorism to metastasize unchecked for decades?

Instead of rejecting outside help on grounds of pride, Nigerians—especially those who have borne the brunt of this northern stranglehold—should recognize the potential of external pressure to shatter a stagnant and oppressive status quo. Because the sad reality is this: no internal mechanism, no committee, no empty declaration has ever broken the cycle of Hausa-Fulani feudal dominance or the terrorism that feeds off it.

If the government will not protect its people, then the world has a moral right to ask why—and to act. Sometimes, the cure for decay must come from outside the infected body.
This is one of the most eloquent, persuasive and timely written submissions I have ever encountered online. I have no idea whether the OP wrote this tour-de-force of logical argumentation, but whoever wrote the words quoted above is a seasoned master of deductive reasoning.

Terrorist and kidnapper camps dotting the forests, scrubland and farmlands of Nigeria will be very easy to spot with drones, and even easier to blow up into smithereens using drone armaments. This urgent military initiative should commence in Nigeria without further ado.

There is a new sheriff in town. He walks softly but he packs a fearsome big stick. His name is Uncle Sam and he is about ready to open up a fresh can of whup-ass that will be shared equally among all Nigeria's terror and kidnapping enclaves. Uncle Sam is coming to a town near YOU !

Firstly, I am surprised that you imagine they will operate with such courtesy to local authorities given the tone of Trump's directives.

Secondly bear in mind that what you have described is exactly how they have ended up bombing innocent village weddings and other social functions in places like Iraq and Afghanistan.
Arguably Trump will be recognized as the most destructive, undiplomatic, cruel, racist and reckless US president of all time, yet, despite all of Trumps usual saber-rattling bluster with respect to Nigeria's terror predicament, the preexisting collaborative relationship between the US and Nigerian militaries remains strong, and need only be fine-tuned so that US drones can be empowered to exceed their previous mandate as passive overhead observers, by allowing their tasking to include calibrated air strikes wherever gatherings or motorized convoys of terrorists are spotted nationwide.

As a matter of absolute certainty there WILL be collateral damage amid the coming harvest of souls on Nigerian soil by US drones, BUT the gradual spread of terror and kidnapping gangs Nigeria has witnessed for over a decade now stands as sobering testimony to the fact that the Nigerian military would benefit tremendously from US assistance in this grueling war on terror slowly engulfing an entire nation.
Politics › Re: President Trump, Please Strike The Fulani Bandits Not Nigeria!!! by Jakumo(m): 9:06am On Nov 02, 2025
American military strategists will have studied the Nigerian kidnap/bandit/terror swarms invading Nigeria, and those seasoned practitioners of pinpoint selective annihilation will have devised a plan that will maximize terrorist casualties, while limiting collateral civilian damage.

If, for example, a US surveillance drone circling the skies above Nigeria's Middle Belt Benue state observes a swarm of motorcycles heading towards a remote farming village in the dead of night, there would be adequate time for US authorities to contact the nearest police station, military detachment, or civilian vigilante formation in the area where the movement of armed men is being monitored, to ascertain whether any known forces are deployed in the area.

Once it has been determined that NO military, police or civilian patrol has been deployed within the target area at the time of that alert, the US drone operator relaxing continents away in an airconditioned command center, will be authorized to launch clinically precise missiles that will reduce that convoy of terrorists to a morbidly artistic display of twisted metal and smoldering cadavers.

That same process of elimination precautionary protocol can be applied to ALL encampments of men spotted in ANY wilderness area of Nigeria. Once local authorities affirm that state or civilian squads are NOT operating in the area, another fire order will be issued and more terrorists will be fragmented instantaneously. Once this "hand of God" long range ballistic accuracy has been showcased in Nigeria by the USA, the civilian population will FINALLY begin to experience a respite from the slowly spreading reign of terror seeping into Nigeria and other sub-Saharan nations of West Africa.
