He's regretting that trip to Kenya.

How could he have believed she was truly interested in him?
It might interest you to know that Kanu visited Kenya because he was lured there by a woman promising him sex. Instead he got bundled off to Nigeria where he is now going to spend his entire life ALONE and with NO opportunity to have sex, unless of course he develops a sexual interest in his fellow male prisoners.

Yes sir indeed, Kanu's troubles began with an erection, and ended with life in prison.

The federal government should temper justice with mercy and allow Kanu to reside as a guest of the prison service's watery beans division for the rest of his natural life.

If Kanu can be kept alive in prison for the next 70 years, those of wish to continue licking his shoes will be free to visit him behind bars so as to continue that honorable tradition.

The other question that I have is about Kanu's beautiful wife in London. Who will be given the duty of servicing that woman now that Kanu will never get the chance to do so for the next 70 years while he is serving his sentence?

Thank you and God bless Ajegunle!

Same you lot that condemned the pardon the presidency gave to previous criminals suddenly wants it given to you lol. 😂

Pardons dont just come like that in terrorism cases. It’s usually from death sentence to life imprisonment or from life imprisonment to 25 years in prison. Let’s hope he doesn’t get death sentence.
As terrible, reckless and bloodthirsty as Kanu proved himself to be, anyone with a shred of human compassion will NOT wish to see any other human being suffer the same terrifying fate as Ken Saro Wiwa did when he was hanged along with several other men who were all innocent of the charges leveled against them by the then military dictatorship of the sadistic tyrant Sanni Abacha.

Certainly a death sentence is likely to be passed on Kanu, but I for one repose absolute faith that Preident Tinubu will commute that death sentence to life in prison. That act of mercy will encourage peace and dialog, which Kanu NEVER saw as a viable option due to his hubris and pomposity.

The death sentence that Kanu passed on so many of his own people does qualify him to experience the same treatment, BUT a far greater punishment for Kanu would be life in jail, where he will have DECADES to contemplate the evil things he did to his own people.

The sentence is more likely to be death by hanging, BUT President Tinubu is a man of compassion who believes in redemption, so he will most likely exercise his discretionary power to commute the sentence to life in jail without the option of a fine and with no early release parole ever to be permitted.

Goodbye Mr. Sit-at-home Kanu. You prepared your fate while in London where you assumed the law could not reach you, but now you will finally come to see how tragically wrong you had been all along.

I recall sometimes in 2021 when I went to our office at Awka on official duty from Abuja. When I got to onitsha it was a ghost town. I had to run back and trek back through the Niger bridge cross to Asaba at about 8.45pm to pass the night at Asaba. Everywhere was dark and deserted. The guy has so much control over his boys.
That must have been a scary experience. It is astonishing that ANY person who experienced Kanu's hellish sit-at-home reign of terror, could find any reason to support such a gleefully murderous character for even a moment. The nightmare is finally over for good.

God bless Nigeria. God bless Ndiigbo. God bless Justice Omotosho, for his high level of tolerance and professionalism.

My heart goes with Igbo bro and sis, truth be told a lot of atrocity were attributed to KANU and no government in the world will pardon such person.
It is only Kanu's cult followers that will disagree with this guilty verdict. Of all the crimes committed by Kanu, the one that I personally found even more offensive than the murders committed with his encouragement, was that ridiculous sit-at-home order Kanu imposed that prevented ordinary Igbo people from their fundamental democratic right to exercise their FREEDOM Of MOVEMENT, which is the most basic right any human being can expect in a democracy.

I put myself in the shoes of people who were shot by Kanu's goons because they urgently needed to reach a hospital or any such urgent obligation, and my blood BOILED over that terrible injustice Kanu was inflicting on his own people every Monday for YEARS.

I prayed that Kanu would pay one day for that horrid crime against humanity, and now I hope that he will rot in jail for LIFE, because there is clearly not one single shred of remorse in that terrorist instigator. He is where he belongs for ever more- in jail.

Good riddance to a truly evil little man dressed in a comical a space suit.

Wonderment. So Kanu is heading for a date with the hangman?

How can this be possible? I was so sure that the judge would be so intimidated by Kanu's white space suit that Kanu would be set free to go back to London as an astronaut fashion icon.

Also, I was expecting that the judge would be so intimidated by Kanu's hysterical screaming personal insults, and by his slapping of random people in court, that an innocent verdict was 100% guaranteed.

Wow, I guess this goes to show how ignorant I have been all along about how things work in the court of law.

This is likely the very last time anyone will see Kanu outside of a prison cell wearing his comical little space suit. The insults to the judge flowing like raw sewage from his big mouth are direct affronts to the judiciary, that have SEVERE consequences soon to be seen by the whole world.

The end-game is at hand. This impartial observer speculatively expects a MINIMUM jail sentence of 15 years to be imposed on Kanu today, and there will likely be a few muscular bailiffs invited into the court room to subdue Kanu should he be tempted to try and physically attack the judge or any court official.

Boys and girls, this is not only pure comedy, but is also a case study in how NOT to conduct oneself in any court of law. I have ZERO pity for this pompous little pot-bellied man who clearly suffers from acute delusions of grandeur. His conduct makes it impossible to rule out his winding up getting sent to a lunatic asylum where he will be dosed daily with sedatives to calm his violent childish temper tantrums

History is sufficient to teach that any involvement of the USA will worsen the situation a thousandfold: probably intentionally.
The implosion and descent into anarchy seen in Libya and Afghanistan are examples of the scenario you envision, Barrister DeepSight, yet, with every news cycle, Nigerian armed forces suffer yet another defeat at the hands of what was initially a rag-tag militia, but is now metamorphosing into a regular army of invasion that could so easily be decimated by US drones, if they are given the green light.

Such a cooperative military response to the spreading Islamist terror in Nigeria is what I regard as the lesser of two evils.

WizardOfNG:
Moat decent Nigerians want the killings to stop. That does not means those of us who are critical thinking will agree to jump from the frying pan into the fire because the USA has decided to use us as their pet project for whatever Machiavellian plot is now their current pursuit.

My point remains that ordinary Nigerians can do and demand more to end insecurity. Look at Sowore for example.

A likely paid agent who will organise dumb protest for the freedom of Kanu but he dare not convene Nigerians to name, shame and confront Fulanis, especially their leaders, to do the right things and stop threatening the disintegration of Nigeria.

He never tackles critical and transformational issues. Instead he focuses on populist agitation he knows ignorant Nigerians, he assumes are simpleton, can be distracted with while he gets paid and becomes more visible.

Virtually all Nigerian leaders are working self-serving angles.

Does our nation appear normal to you? If we all handled our business, why would we now be in a position to be positioning the duplicitous USA as our saviour?

Can't Nigerians demand Northerners like Atiku, El Rufai , Malami etal, always insisting they need Presidential power, be at the forefront of the battle to end Fulani terror if we mean each other well?

There is so much latitude for us to be the solutions providers for our own problem yet we are here today arguing with each other because we are too cowardly to do what is needed and now believe we must put the USA in the position of 'saviour of Nigeria'. Do we have no shame?

We are not ready. Nigeria is heading for Rwanda-style genocide if we don't understand power to change the future is in our hands and not that of Americans who don't know or understand our reality
As a black man who has borne the brunt of racism, I do recognize Trump as the embodiment of KKK white supremacist hate-mongering of the most vile nature, while I also have no doubt that he is also a child molester and vindictive misogynist, whose primary motivators are money and dictatorial powers. In short, I can think of few living people who are more loathsome than Trump by any yardstick that comes to mind.

With that preface out of the way, my hopes for stability and peace in Nigerian SOARED when Trump announced that Nigeria's Islamist terror invaders might soon find themselves in the crosshairs of American drones, whose STATED objective would be to protect Nigeria's Christian population from being massacred wholesale by those Islamist hordes that are spreading their bloodthirsty campaign inexorably southward as these words are typed.

A skeptic might rightfully wonder why the ongoing genocide in Sudan, which is orders of magnitude greater in geographical spread, systematic brutality and intensity than anything Nigeria has ever seen thus far, has thus far been overlooked by Trump, while Nigeria's comparatively smaller bloodshed has become the focus of American military attention. An educated guess would be that favorable pricing for America in the purchase of Nigeria's prized Bonny Light crude oil exports is the REAL reason that Trump is focused on Nigeria while ignoring the plight of Sudan.

My contention, Wizard of NG, is that if Nigeria's military forces are currently being overwhelmed by the invading murderous Islamist forces, then any military or intelligence assistance aimed at countering that exponentially growing threat in Nigeria MUST be accepted immediately, even if that help is being offered by Lucifer himself, who, some might argue is embodied by Donald J Trump. In short, with the siege of Nigeria gathering momentum by the day, the leadership of the Nigerian federation do not have the luxury of rejecting that assistance to stem the terror tide that will engulf the entire nation IF the Nigerian military alone is left to face the invaders, as is currently the case.

If American drones can decimate the invaders one strike at a time, most citizens of Nigeria would embrace a negotiated favorable pricing regime on petroleum products for America IF American drones can join the fray and stop the madness that is threatening the very existence of the nation and her populace right now. Let the bombing begin, for that would be the far lesser of two evils. I thank you sir, for hearing me out, and taking a moment to evaluate the logic of this position I have articulated.

This man speaks the truth, Banom. Your ignorance is part of the larger problem of Nigeria....you have locked kanu up since 2021 and yet the insecurity only increased, and you still think keeping him in detention will solve anything...bro if kanu is sentenced tomorrow, you might end up seeing bigger insecurity you can not handle . Nigeria needs the releasing of kanu tomorrow to show to the world than they are ready for democracy and rule of law, more especially now that world attention is on Nigeria through Trump who you know very well that is tactility supporting Nnamdi kanu whom he invited to his 2018 election campaign.
Kanu looms large only in the feeble minds of his cult followers. Once behind bars, Kanu will be forgotten even quicker than Simon Ekpa who is no longer able to entertain us with his cute little pet tricks and buffoonery now that his phone and internet link have been removed by the prison warden in Finland, where Disco Simon will spend the next 6 good years, before getting booted back to Nigeria once his Finnish citizenship has been permanently revoked as a prelude to his spending yet more decades in Nigerian prisons, perhaps even as a cell-mate with Kanu.

When they reunite in Kuje prison, Abuja, Kanu and Ekpa can read long and verbose speeches to each other to pass the free time that they will have in abundance, provided of course that their relatives remember to bring adequate food to prevent them from winding up skeletonized like typical Nigerian prisoners.

I see the court having no better option than freeing Nnamdi kanu tomorrow. Except Nigeria government is extremely dumb that they will fail to release him tomorrow...

This is because the world is watching and adding kanu's case will worsen the situation Nigeria currently found herself with the global attention president Trump has brought to Nigeria internal affairs.

Another reason that gives a clue is the statement yesterday by president Tinubu that the judicial should be Impartial...he couldn't be saying such if they had planned to deliver a wrong judgement on the matter

Moreso is the fact that there is no extant law to use and convict kanu, plus the fact that those broadcasts and oral witnesses aren't enough to convict anyone for terrorism offense . To convict him without an extant law and strong evidence will be stupidity taken too far by the Nigerian government.

And finally, the government actually locked him up to derail and weaken his agitation, not that the government has any evidence of any wrong doings against him. Government has to some extent achieved their aim...the best is to let him go.

I also foresee a situation where Tinubu's government will remove the proscription on IPOB, and call for a national dialogue on the matter to find a more diplomatic and lasting solutions to the agitation.

Tomorrow will shock so many people who are hoping and wishing that court will convict Nnamdi kanu...the truth is that there is no practical legal way he can be convicted without going against the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria ( section 36(12) ) , and without bringing embarrassment to the judicial and the country at large.
Kanu's hysterical screaming at a sitting judge demonstrated that he is totally unhinged and thus unsuited for release even if the government would otherwise have been inclined to do so. Nigeria is under siege by terror gangs in the north, middle belt and some areas of the south, so the LAST thing the government would want to contend with on top of all that mayhem, would be to have Kanu resume his rabble-rousing online instigations to gratuitous violence in Igboland, or perhaps even across the entire Nigerian nation.

Kanu has regrettably lost the final vestiges of his fragile sanity, as evidenced by the way he acts up with the impulsive petulance of a spoiled child who bites his mother in the kneecaps because he was scolded for wetting his bed. No sir, Kanu will NOT be released any time soon. He will be kept in jail for quite a few years to come, purely to shut him up and preserve a fragile peace in Igboland.

I will take a wild guess that Kanu will be handed a ten-year prison sentence tomorrow, out of compassion because in reality he deserves to rot in prison for life.

Won't it be more pressing to root out the moles in the military that you alleged that released the Brigadier's dire situation?

And what if external state actors are behind this leak and not an internal mole as you claim?

Use of WhatsApp for communication in the battlefield is highly irresponsible and we all know who owns and controls the WhatsApp servers and have access to them.

Also, the terrorists have gotten a boost since Trump made his threat of invasion.

And we also saw how Trump just received an ISIS jihadist in the WH.

Even if the location was leaked via WhatsApp and then sent to Sowore to publish, I didn't see where sowore provided the exact GPS location of the Brigadier. So for the terrorists to act swiftly they must have had precise geoloction which only can be provided by those who can track the brigadier's location using his phone.

Also, drones must have been used to locate the Brigadier's exact location and guide the terrorists to him.

These are not what ISIS has the capability of doing unless guided by a state actor .

And so for this, I will put the blame on the US who have a drone base in Niger and have scaled up activities in Nigeria since Trump's threat.

Also,Sowore gets funding from the US PBS,USAID and Ford Foundation and so I see the leak coming directly from the US .

Claiming there is a mole within our military will only cause more suspicion and low morale.

So be advised accordingly for you are also storing up the social media space by alleging a mole within the military leaked the information to Sowore and paraventure the terrorists.
I agree with virtually all the points you have made here. The "repentant" terrorists within the rank and file of the Nigerian army obviously retained their loyalty to their terrorist kingpins, and thus continue to feed vital information about the Nigerian military to the enemy. This is a major problem that was created when mass murdering sadists were FORGIVEN and re-armed as Nigerian soldiers.

The existence of terrorist informants within the Nigerian military notwithstanding, NO civilian has the right to become ANOTHER informant to terrorists by publishing operational secrets online during active military operations, and one can only hope that the Nigerian military recognizes publicity-addict Sowore as their mortal enemy who is an open and avowed informant for Islamist terror gangs who are at this very moment in the process of ripping Nigeria apart at the seams.

Sowore has degenerated from being a mildly entertaining buffoon to now constituting himself as a clear and present danger to the Nigerian military, and by logical extrapolation, to the very existence of the Nigerian nation. This man needs to be stopped by any means fair or foul.

How would you have felt? How do you think that officer felt in his final moments when he knows that the information he gave out regarding his location was leaked and that's how ISWAP could get him. How do you think he felt seeing that kind of betrayal? Sowore didn't fail him. The military did.
The Nigerian army's statement that the officer had been saved was a deliberate deception to buy time while the search and rescue operation was still under way, and the purpose of that false report from the army was to BUY TIME and to encourage the terrorists to stop their own search for survivors of the ambush.

If you cannot understand that strategy, that is NOT anyone's problem but yours, sir.
Politics › Re: The Rascality Of Omoyele Sowore’s Sahara Reporters Exposed Nigerian Brigadier by Jakumo(m): 6:56am On Nov 19, 2025
During the time when this brigadier general was on the run from the ambush scene, and awaiting air evacuation, it makes perfect sense that military authorities would use a diversionary false claim that the officer had been saved, to buy time while the rescue helicopter was inbound to try and pluck him to safety.

Regardless of who in the military leaked the communications that indicated the officer was NOT yet safe, and was still on the run from the terrorists, the hasty and reckless disclosure by Sowore 's Sahara Reporters mouthpiece, confirming that the officer was STILL in the death zone, and NOT yet saved by the rescue helicopter, sealed the fate of that officer because the terrorists who monitor all internet news thus received all the confirmation they needed to KEEP SEARCHING for the officer who was then subsequently captured and murdered in cold blood while cameras rolled.

Once again Mr. Over-Sabi Sowore, Nigeria's career noise maker and attention seeker, selfishly injected himself into the logistics of an ongoing military operation for cheap publicity purposes, and in so doing DIRECTLY exposed the Nigerian army officer to the terrorists that killed him in brutal fashion live on camera.

The blood of Brigadier General Uba is all over the hands of Sowore, Nigeria's perennial publicity junkie, who simply doesn't know when to shut up, and who hasn't a care in the world who he endangers, and who DIES, provided that he can enjoy his 15 minutes of fame.

To all people of faith, regardless of whether you are Christian or Muslim, the time has come to relate to your god PRIVATELY in your individual homes, and NOT in any church or mosque, BECAUSE Nigeria is currently under attack by terrorists who rejoice in bloodshed, REGARDLESS of who they are in the process of killing.

If, as a religious person, you subscribe to the notion that God is all-seeing and all-hearing, then there is simply NO NEED to make yourself a target by congregating with groups of other potential targets in a building where you can be surrounded and either kidnapped or killed. NOW is the time to limit your religious observance to the privacy of your individual homes, while keeping your ears open for any sound that might suggest that intruders are nearby, so that you can find a way to FLEE and HIDE.

The use of loudspeakers in places of worship adds yet another layer of vulnerability to those who worship within such establishments, because while the loudspeakers advertise to the outside world that people are assembled in such places, that same noise DEAFENS the people inside the building to any sounds of approaching terrorists that would otherwise have been heard with ease, were it not for the noise of the speakers that renders people DEAF TO DANGER.

You have been warned. Do NOT make yourself an easy target by gathering with dozens or hundreds of other people to make noise, because Nigeria is AT WAR right now. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
