zinachidi: iffa hear, the man just wore his son's NYSC uniform, NYSC get age limit. No age limit to serve. The age limit only applies to your year of graduation. If you graduate before 30, you should serve and you can do that at whatever age you present yourself for mobilisation. You are only exempted on age grounds if you graduated after 30. |

I repeat , we are ticking along just fine . The country is caught up in the tail-wind of Jonathan/ Iweala mismanagement and corruption . Once we exit the tail wind, you will see what real growth means Keep consoling yourself. |

LRNZH: See what Bismark Rewane had to say about Kemi
Bismarck Rewane, head of Financial Derivatives Co., a consultancy in Lagos, described Adeosun’s appointment as an “excellent choice,” saying she had turned around the financial position of Ogun state when she served as finance commissioner. “Ogun state was in shambles, she put the state finances in strong position,” he said by phone. “She did a remarkable thing taking the state revenue from a negative position to a positive level.” http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-11-11/nigeria-s-buhari-appoints-kemi-adeosun-as-finance-minister
I am sure more facts of her stewardship in Ogun State will emerge as we discuss. If putting a state in the state of having to ask for and actually receiving bail out is a turnaround, I give up. |

rotile247: Over the years we have seen different government in power with the contiuous looting of the Nations treasury which has become the aspiration of any oppprtuned Nigerian in seat of governance in any capacity.
In Buhari's aborted short stinct as Head of state there was a drastic reduction in looting.
Under Babangida Nigeria had a windfall in crude oil income partly as a result of the gulf war, there was plenty dollar income for Nigeria. Babangida squandered, stole or loot these and institutionalised corruption as a way of life for most Nigerians.
Jonathan had similar prosperity and windfall from oil dollar income but waste it and even declared stealing as not corruption.
Abacha, Obasanjo and the rest are also corrupt. But the unprecedented prosperity Nigeria had under Babagida and Jonathan would have helped the country just like Egypt 7 yrs prosperity and 7 yrs drought under Joseph.
Buhari is taking austerity measures to safeguard the future of this country with looting in the downward trend. I can't say his administration is not corrupt (afterall there is corruption in every country even US, Uk etc) but measures are being put to ensure people know and are aware and face the consequences of their actions.
I believe Buhari deserves the respect, suppport of Nigerians for the four years mandate he has, then the mases(we) can vote out change and go for yet another mantra. Austerity measures indeed. See your austerity measures below?; A brief comparison between the 2015 budget and 2016 budget; 2015 budget: Purchase of Motor Vehicles= 76,600,581. 2016 budget: Purchase of Motor Vehicles= 212,400,000.
