RuudVanNisteroy: I can never be a puppet on a string. The state judicial panel has spoken and the $308 million dollars will be recovered one day for the impoverished Rivers state people.
RuudVanNisteroy: The Clinotech scam was the oga at the top in terms of scams, they chopped money and clean mouth. Amaechi has created the impression Rivers produces the biggest scammers; when Lagos state led by the former Chicago drug baron Tinubu that chops 10% commission from monthly state taxes holds that title.
What ever motives for these unnecessary threads, I will tell you it is dead on arrival. Look for issues pertaining Osun state and deliberate on them. Concern yourself with your business. Rivers state is not your concern. It is not your business. Don't be unfortunate.
RuudVanNisteroy: So I should only speak of my state of origin Osun. What about other states I lived in and my family paid taxes? My father paid taxes to River state government when he worked in Port Harcourt, so I have a say in how the state finances are handled.
It is a sin to cry more than the bereaved. Nobody in Rivers talks about Osun. Mind your business. Simple.
RuudVanNisteroy: Monorail to nowhere. 54 billion naira for a 1.5 km monorail track pre 2015! Amaechi sold Rivers gas turbine for 308 million dollars and retained 208 thousand dollars without account.... See the video below Cc
QuotaSystem: IPOB terrorists have bitten more than they can chew .
PANDEF is a recognized body representing the entire Niger Delta so IPOB terrorists claim that Clark is only speaking for Ijaw is dead on arrival.
Blanket rejection of Beerfraud so they'd better cure themselves of long throat for ND oil and access to the Ocean. A wise man seeks to create allies and not enemies - especially the ones that completely surround you.
Ogonis have no business with PANDEF, same as Ikwerres, Ahoada, Ogba, Etche, Ndoki, Asa. These are found Rivers state. I dunno of other states in the SS region.
PANDEF should reassess and reevaluate their claims.
Lolz. Nairaland is funny. Someone who has been missing since Tuesday and was yesterday confirmed killed and dismembered by ritualists is what is being pushed to front page this night.
dboY1123: Good morning, I have been deployed to Benue state in this recent batch of NYSC, and before I decide to go I would like to know if Benue state is actually safe or I just start processing my relocation. I am going from south west region to Benue which is north central. Please what is your advise concerning the travel, people and security. Thanks
Fear fear.

Sonnobax15: Those weapons that were found at Igboho's house,na wetin dem dey do for there if not for armed robbery... Because I haven't seen or heard it from anywhere that igboho is a military man
Tompolo no be igboho mate for one bit self...
Blowing up pipelines doesn't make someone a man. He should call for secession let's see the mettle he's made of.
chrisxxx: Wike put the continuation of that project in to plebiscite and Rivers people overwhelmingly asked him to discontinue with it. True Amaechi would have discontinued with it but for obvious reasons he continued even when the project PPP backed out foreseeing the inviability of the project. You think about it if a project that would cover over 100km has gulped more than 50b at 1.5km where there was no bridge, no much obstacles how much would be required when it gets to high dense area like Rumuola? Let's blame Wike less here that project was ill thought-out.
Plebiscite?? What is your problem na. Stop this falsehood.
Slawormiir, has advised all bombers to cover the camera of their laptops at all times cos FBI can remotely activate the webcam and your mugshot will be in their archives.
Take a look at those pictures and you'd see some of them are webcam pictures.
jimyjames: I'm not the one that said it, the Ikwerres said it themselves, that they migrated from bini, wike repeated same thing on an interview he had with dele momudu
That was why I said any intelligent person wouldn't believe such claims. They are too far apart, even separated by River Niger. So how can Ikwerre then be an offspring of Bini and don't have any form of semblance whatsoever.
Wike is a politician and not a historian. You shouldn't expect less of him.
SaintBishop: Oga do you even know what you are talking about?
Abua Andoni Bonny some parts of Ahoada Degema Engenni Nkoro Odual Opobo Kalabari And Okrika are all ijaw clans in Rivers state, yet you think that ijaws are a miniority in Rivers state. oboy your head they touch.
INC and IYC does not qualify to called an ethnic organisation. More like a political affiliation. Which ethnic group uses pidgin English language as a means of communication. It's a shame.
jimyjames: It doesn't contradicts anything the ikwerre's are an igbo clan, the igbo slaves under bini kingdom during the bini empire
Lolz. What is the proximity of Ikwerre to Benin? How many ethnic groups are found between them. Are there any dialectical similarities between Ikwerres and Binis and Ishekiri or Urhobo or Ika or Isoko. None whatsoever.
So where then lies your baseless claims. Cos if there were any interactions between Ikwerres and any of those ethnic groups, no matter how long or short, there must be some form of cultural ruboff.
jimyjames: I'm not denying that fact, ikwerre is one of those igbos once owned by the bini's same as the aniomas, all igbos in South South were once slaves
Everyone who has any form of intelligence will know that Ikwerres are just playing to the gallery. There is absolutely nothing Benin related about Ikwerre. Either in dressing, language or culture. Ikwerre had Igbo slaves as well.
jimyjames: I mean they think they are more related to bini's than the South East igbos, they claim to be a distinct ethnic group, especially the Ika, ikwerri
What brought Ikwerre to the topic. Igbos see Ikwerres in their dreams.
Every tribe in the south have claimed to have once kept Igbo slaves in times past. Na wah, Igbos una see una life??. Every 10kobo tribe once had Igbo slaves.
Reference: What I like about this man's model of development is the 'bricks and mortar', direct labour system he adopts. There is no doubt he has been able to stretch his resources by ignoring big name multinationals and blue chip engineering firms with their pricey bills resulting from a tendency to capital flight.
This is a model the Federal government and governors of Niger-Delta states particularly should study. How to get optimise their infrastructural budgets. I am sure if a peer review is done it will be found out that the cost of Governor Wike's half a dozen or so 'flyovers' will exceed that of an almost double number built in Ebonyi.
Those in Ebonyi may not look too nifty and do not carry a big 'badge' but they are functional which should be the way poorer nations begin their development. The next governor after Umahi will have a solid platform of competencies within that state to really accelerate development if he or she is interested.
How I wish this was the model with which our airports, seaports, rail lines and power infrastructure was handled. No frills. Just silently, efficiently and without leaving huge financial potholes behind.
The terrain of Rivers state and Ebonyi are different and as such this 'bricks and mortar' flyover built by local contractors might be functional in Ebonyi but maybe result in a disaster in Rivers.
Tho much more expensive but these multinationals ensure peace of mind, durability and better aesthetics. Just like a Mercedes Benz comparison with Toyota. Both are functional but aren't of same class.
