Why is it our so called journalist so disingenuous. How did they come to the conclusion he is IPOB trainer, so if the IPOB bandenas they found on them was APC, PDP, or the Army will the op use the same headlines.

Sir who prevent you or anyone from voting? Nnamdi Kanu gave an order to his organization the IPOB to boycott the election. Either Nigerians are daft or they are ignorant of the law, where in Nigeria constitution, that boycotting an election by an individual is criminal offence. YES voting is a civil responsibilities but it is voluntary. APC may choose to boycott the Anambra election or any other elections in Nigeria. Nnamdi Kanu has never used the word disrupt the election, boycotting is not disrupt. Nigerians should ask themselves why Kanu continued to have success after success in the court, it's because what he is doing is legal just that Nigerians are misinformed by enemies of Kanu, some people may not like his strategies but he is on the right.

17,000 live bombs found in a house in Owerri, another 44,000 bombs scattered around.



The Nigerian Army has deployed soldiers to take over security of the premises housing 17,000 live bombs in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

The soldiers from the 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze, were said to have taken over the premises few days ago.

Similarly, a team of bomb experts from the 34 Artillery Brigade have been dispatched to the site where the explosives are being stockpiled at No. 109, Achike Udenka Avenue in new Owerri, a densely populated area, to get a first hand information of the situation on the explosives, with a view to reporting to the authorities on the next line of action.

This is even as Professor Yakubu, has raised fresh alarm over the presence of another 44,000, bombs in some uncleared locations across the southeastern part of the country, saying some of these explosives are located in schools, churches, markets and other public places.


Biafran Secret Service Fear
The explosive expert who expressed delight over the concern of the army authorities, especially with the security challenges in the country and the establishment of a Biafran Secret Service recently, said “the soldiers would guard the place until we are ready to destroy the bombs.”
Beside the military authorities, Yakubu, said he had also been contacted by officials from the Department of State Security Services(DSS), who he said have been providing security for the premises after he contacted them over the issue during the 2015 general elections.

When contacted over the security of the premises by soldiers, the Public Relations Officer in charge of 34 Artillery Brigade, Captain Haruna Tagwai, said “the army has already provided security on the premises, but the property belongs to the Ministry of Defence.”
He said “if you want to get more fact about it, you can contact the press’s secretary in the Ministry of Defence.”

According to her, the thugs attacked her opposite the NUJ Secretariat along Port-Harcourt road, and the beat her up mercilessly in the process. The story is not complete, what was she reporting on? Not that I'm supporting what happened to her far from it no one deserves to be beaten up, but it is imperative for the story to be complete. Why was she the victim we need to know.

And that is how Air France that was meant to depart Paris for Lagos since about 9:00am today hasn't taken off till now and passengers (even business class passengers) are left to sleep at the airport lounge, including women and children.

A particular lady with her children coming from Toronto arrived since 7:00am to connect to lagos. She has since been stranded at the airport with her children...no food, no hotel accommodation! Air France only provided vouchers for pastries and snacks and the children do not eat those so they have been eating only Bananas.

These passengers bought these tickets with hard earned monies. And it's not even cheap! Why should these airlines treat our citizens like this Even when they know our country is one of their most lucrative routes . What is so difficult in getting hotel accommodation for these passengers, especially the women and children Mothers are weeping at Charles de Gaulle airport. It is so heartbreaking.

I hope this situation is addressed and all those affected get due compensation . Sad!

No president worth his salt will say the unity of the country he presides over is negotiable.

The world over, a group of people who wants to secede will go through either of two options:

1. Referendum: This is only applicable if there is provision for such in the constitution. Unfortunately for all of us, our constitution doesn't provide for it which means no president has that privilege to allow it else he'd be committing an impeachable offence. To take this route, the group wishing to secede MUST first work to get the constitution amended through the NASS. And if GEJ from SS region couldn't work for that amendment, it's foolish to expect a president from any other region to work for it.

2. Violence: This unfortunately is the only other option. We all know what comes with it are death, destruction, sorrow, hunger and many other humanitarian crisis. If you didn't witness the civil war of 1966, and you were too young to see what happened in Liberia, Somalia, Rwanda and many other African countries, you're surely seeing what is happening in Syria, Central African Republic, DRC and many others.

So, PMB is right to have said it unequivocally that Nigeria's unity is not negotiable just as those before him were right in saying so.

I don't think you are a police officer, and I'm also sure you never majored in criminal justice so just know you are wrong, the word impressive is far from it, this is the worst policing you can think of. First, policing in Nigeria is among the worst and this case just demonstrate it . In an organized society, the first would have been to call the emergency number like 911 and police would have come pick the child at the place where the child was found but you know that don't happen in Nigeria. How many citizens in Nigeria know which station is in their jurisdictions. The police can't just arrest someone on just suspicion, all they would have done is question her get all the necessary informations and let her go but keep a very close eye on her.
