So even when it is glaring that someone down south is qualified for the job, tinubu and osinbajo still need to convince him and even bring his political image into it before he can appoint the person. For a northerner, no need for all that, he already knows he is the right person. Begging for what collectively belongs to us all.
Who told you Abubakar Malami (SAN) is also not qualified?

It's common in Lagos and other parts of Nigeria. Street footballers are packed "in roger". Or they set themselves up in free-for-alls.

Growing up in Offa, I was caught in street football fights too with Police dispersing us.

If everybody think before they comment;
if everybody consider their role-models before airing their views;
if everybody think of themselves and love ones before they comment;
we will see a Nairaland that would no longer be fun;
we will see a nairaland where nobody enjoy comic relief;
we will see a nairaland where the genius of the likes of Funlord, nihilist, blackett who take the fools to the cleaners will be stifled

the truth is nairaland will be boring if everybody follow all that in your post. I mean how do you want people like ireneony, ladyF, introvert etc to be relevant?

Imagine for a moment nairaland with only the likes of Jarus, barcanister, Ujsizzle, caracter, Epaul, seun, standd who are always serious with their comments like say them dey house of assembly. Even these personalities need the likes of ireneony, introvert, fremanan, ladyF to laugh and get angry once in while.
LMAO @ serious like National Assembly.

I agree with you. In fact, I enjoy the lighter posts more than the serious posts. I also try to lighten up sometimes. Have you ever come across me booking space or doing ftc? I have done a couple of times cheesy

I wonder where your richest man was then that he was no where to be found...

Go search for that documentary and watch so that you don't keep celebrating your ignorance on NL... Thank yhu grin
Smh. So that someone provided the car Queen Elizabeth drove made him the richest Nigerian?

If Wikipedia is your reference, then think twice because the last time I checked no one recommends Wikipedia as a reference in any thesis. So try better next time because Wikipedia that I know has lost touch with reality sinx it's your type that update data base with fact they don't even verify before accepting it. Use Wikipedia on any of your reference and see if your supervisor won't give you Fffffffff
And this is an academic reference abi?

And why did the writer of L.Ojukwu's profile forget to refer to him as richest West African?

I don't talk without facts. Al-Hassan was officially the richest man in West Africa as at the time of his death in 1955.

Check the wiki profiles of both and see who was referred to as West Africa's richest man, then come back to tell me who's ignorant:

Richest man in what sectorhuh huh
I give up. So all Nigerian millionaires from 1800 made their money from oil? Can someone educate this dude that there was a time there was nothing like crude oil in Nigeria?

Even Dangote that is currently the richest man in Africa didn't make his money from oil. He made it from commodity trading, later manufacturing. His investment in oil and gas is less than 10% of his worth.

Get a brain.

Al-Hassan Dantata was already the richest man in West Africa before first oil was sold (shipped) in Nigeria in 1957! He had no idea what crude oil meant sef.

My class is modified-Class A. I don't run out of airtime because my employers have arrangement with MTN to credit me with 50k airtime every month (later reduced to 30k, later 20k) in the last almost 4 years. I have never exhausted it, except when I'm outside Nigeria and I roam.

The difference between my category and OP's Class A is I'm not rich and it doesn't come from my pocket, but company's pocket.

Present the CCB documents when you're ready to declare your assets to the public, this oral declaration is for the gullible. Not me!
And you think they will be foolish enough to declare something different from what they put in the CCB form when they know any investigative reporter can lay hands on the CCB document and publish to bust the lies, which is a bigger risk than not declaring at all?

I work in an oil company and we engage law firms for legal services. A 1 hour review of work by a partner in a top law firm goes for as much as $2k (NGN400k). They bill in dollars (at least before Emefiele came up with anti-dollarizatoon policies).

If you're a partner in, not to talk of owning, a top law firm, you will easily be a millionaire.

Buhari never said he had 1m, he never said he had 150 cows (at least in 2015). All these were fabrications by his cult followers.

By the way, if you have 30m, will you take 27m (90% of it) for a single transaction (election form)?

APC never said that. Buhari never said that.

It is people that fabricate and pass around all manner of myths about Buhari.

No sane person will expect him to be worth N1m.

I didn't expect Osinbajo to be worth less either.

do you knw d negative effect of food preservative? making their own money while killing us
Food preservatives are not necessarily poisonous. Or at least, not all are.

I guess we should stop taking apple which are not grown locally.

And this is even Ghana, not US, not China. You can harvest a crop in Ghana today and have it in Nigeria today, holding logistics constant.

Accra to Ibadan is actually closer than Jos or Makurdi (food capital of Nigeria) to Ibadan. So if you need preservatives to prevent spoilage of a produce from Ghana, you need it more to transport locally from some parts of Nigeria.

So what's the difference?The only argument is economic. Hardly any argument on health ground.
