FamilyRe: Advice Needed: On The Verge Of Hitting My Mum by Jarus(m): 9:31am On Nov 02, 2017
frustratedrat:
i'm short-tempered. I probably inherited that trait from my dad. Due to the way my dad handled his affairs, my mum was plunged into penury. Currently living with her. The situations of the past has made her bitter. She complains about everything.

I open the pot to take my meal, she raises her voice, i come back empty-handed, she runs me down as being a leech. I lie flat without touching anything, she comes back complaining of so many things. When she starts, i find myself exchanging words with her.

I feel bad afterwards but the cycle continues once she makes me pesky again. how do i salvage this situation? Sometimes, i'm pushed to the edge that my frustration about her slander and my predicament makes me wanna hit her.
Anytime I remember the pains of pregnancy, of labour and of taking care of me when I was a baby, I feel like giving all my income to her. I cant shout at her.

Bros we all know that FIFA is biased, Iniesta wey no dey play anything again made FIFA's FIFPro World XI for the ninth year running....
I'm very sure Moses will be in Top 3, alongside Aubameyang, Mane OR salah.
Lol. You comment is quoted so you cant edit it.
SportsRe: CAF List Of Nominees For African Player Of The Year Award by Jarus(m): 9:03am On Nov 02, 2017
Both Mane and Moses played in the EPL last season .

Moses won the EPL. Mane did not.

Yet Mane made the EPL team of the seaon while Moses did not.

Yet these Nairaland commenters argue blindly.

No one that knows football will rate Moses higher than Mane in 2017.

Fifa is not Africa, they are different,I remember when Mohammed aboutrika is playing for al ahly of Egypt,he came second to dider drogba, just because he help his Egypt club to win the caf champions league and help Egypt won the nations cup,he was rated ahead of European based players
So did he win?

Wr are talking of winning.

And is Victor Moses playing in Africa (and not Europe like other contenders)?

Bros, Moses had a great season too,(far better than mane's) key player for Chelsea last season.. Won the league and also played in the F.A Cup final
Okay. FIFA world pundits that listed Mane (and not Moses) in the list of 30 Best players in the world in 2017 did not watch Chelsea last season.

sadio mane wasnt on a clean straight form last season, dude was injured on international duty and couldnt perform well till the end of the season.moses did, aubemeyang did and seri was 1 of the best mid fielders in france last season, wanted by a number of top european clubs like arsenal and barca
So his emergence as one of the Top 30 Footballers in the World by FIFA in the WPOTY shortlst was based on 2012 performance?

Sit down there.

Those 3 players won no major trophy,if it is by goals scored messi will take the FIFA player and the balon d or, but it belongs to ronaldo because he help Madrid win the champions league.
Oga, I'm an analyst. I'm not into arguing based on national sentiments. I can't make a fool of myself just because I'm a Nigerian

Check the only 2 Africans that made the list of 30 Nominees for World Player of the Year 2017 . That should give you an inkling into who the best 2 African footballers in 2017 are.

I'm not into these petty arguments. Victor Moses can never win APOTY in 2017.

Victor Moses remains a huge favourite for the award, any other two of the rest of the nominees could come second and third respectively.
Victor Moses wont make Top 3. It is a straight fight between Aubameyang and Mane.
SportsRe: CAF List Of Nominees For African Player Of The Year Award by Jarus(m): 8:29am On Nov 02, 2017
1, Aubameyang
2, Sadio Mane
3, Mohammed Salah.

Take that to the bank.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 22-yr-old First Class Nigerian Graduate Takes To Twitter To Beg For Employment by Jarus(m): 8:55am On Nov 01, 2017
Some issues here:

1, She graduated in 2015. So the earliest time she completed her NYSC programme is 2016, if mobilized in 2015, or 2017, if mobilized in 2016.

2, What the above means is that she may have become eligible for labour market in 2016 or 2017 which means she may not have spent 1 year at home post-NYSC.

3, Not getting job within one year of completing NYSC is not a critical situation as presented here. Even some recruitment processes take one year.

4; She did not tell us whether she had been invited for job tests before and how she performed. Has any company invited you for test since you graduated? Did you pass? First Class doesn't mean being handed job automatically.

5, I also suspect her school may be a factor. Ajayi Crowther is a Tier 3 private university. Many good employers only reckon with Tier 1 private university graduates. Less than 10 of such schools.. Some of these private unis are not recognised
PoliticsRe: President Buhari Reacts To Nigeria Moving Up 24 Places In Global 'business Rank" by Jarus(m): 8:51pm On Oct 31, 2017
FarahAideed:
Any serious Nigerian Business man knows that is a lie , It was far easier to get business done in Nigeria under Jonarhan than it is now but this fake shallow ranking might be as result of reforms in the CAC and FIRS that made registration of new business and filing tax returns easier but when it comes to actually getting business done it has never been harder than it is under the God forsaken leperous Buhari ..I hate Buhari
At least you admit there were reforms.

World Bank is interested in reforms.

The speed limit on that road should be no more than 50kmh.
50km/h is too slow in TMB. That's in itself dangerous.

I used to use TMB for car race before (trying to beat personal record of 5 minutes) but I stopped after reading about all these accidents. I dont do more than 80kmh there any longer.

the problem with must Nigerians is that they don't know it's easier to get a Saloon car to easily come to a halt when on top speed,an SUV will roll over severally when trying to halt at top speed most especially on third mainland bridge.....seen it happen alot
Generally, SUVs roll over more easily. Most SUVs carry that warning in their manual or as fine print in the top corner of driver's side.

Christianity EtcRe: Is It Only Africans That Believe In The Existence Of Ghosts And Witches? by Jarus(m):
It is the interpretation of the phenomenon that differs.

In Islam, we believe in an invisible creation called Jinn who share the earth with us.

The evil ones among them can be used by evil humans just as some of them can be independently mischievous.

Jinn possession is real. Jinn can be interpreted as demon in English but not exactly as some of the attributes of demon as used in English are different from the attributes of Jinn.

So anyone with good understanding of Islam, irrespective of whether African or European or Asian, will know this phenomenon.

I believe it is the lack of understanding of this phenomenon is what Africans attribute to witches

There are many other diseases with those symptoms.

Finelinks:
Please I have been battling with ulcer, indigestion for the past 3 years.
This has adversely affected every aspect of my life and reduced my productivity too.

I have been to hospitals or and done several tests. I have taken treatments targeted at eliminating H pylori, all to no avail.

I used to take antacids and stopped when I got no improvements and also read about the side effects.

I have equally used a few home remedies.
I really want to hear real life experiences of people who have dealt with this before as it's causing me excruciating pains.

Major symptoms include bloating; hotness of the stomach, groin, legs, shortness of breath, excessive release of gas, belching etc.
THANKS.
Were you specifically diagnosed of ulcer or you just assumed it is ulcer?

EducationRe: 5 Departments In OAU Where Bagging First Class Degree Is Almost Impossible by Jarus(m): 6:49pm On Oct 26, 2017
lilbazy:
In Nigeria your degree doesn't really matter.... A friend of mine graduated with 3rd class in Agriculture and he is currently working with UBA in Ilorin!!! Making 1st class isn't a gateway to Success.
Compare the percentage of first class graduates that ended up successful with that of third class.

No grade is a gateway to success but First Class opens doors for you in many areas and you stand higher chance of leading decent life.

TravelRe: How I Was Saved From A Train Accident That Killed 600 People - My Testimony by Jarus(m): 9:14pm On Oct 21, 2017
shinarlaura:
By 1:00 pm GMT in Cameroon, our Nation was thrown into mourning. It's been a year since it happened, and I will be so ungrateful to HIM that saved me if I don't share this testimony. It didn't happen in Nigeria, It happened in Cameroon. The media didn't tell the full story of the number of people that died, but you can catch a glimpse of it here;

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/10/53-killed-cameroon-train-derailment-161021192603296.html

As I entered the Train, I thought it would be one of those smooth rides to my destination, I never knew that the smile of the person that sat beside me would be his last cry.

At some point in the journey, we felt a foul smell. At another point, we could perceive smoke and it became thick gradually. We in the middle coach never knew that several coaches in front had fallen and people were already dead.

When it finally got to our coach, it began wobbling. People were flying off the window into a deep valley. I held onto the iron of the seat before me. Whatever made me not to fly off the window is still what I don't know.

About 600 people dead, More than 700 Injured. But yet I came out unscratched.

Should I call this a Miracle or what?

You can call this a testimony or one-year anniversary of life after the accident, or any other name, I just want to say that I am alive and may God give those who lost their loved ones the fortitude to bear their loss.

RIP to all faithful souls departed. Amen.

Please pardon my grammar. Je suis juste une fille francophone (I am just a french girl)
Sorry, mate.

Your grammar is perfect. Only few of our people whose first language is English could even write this well.
