thanks,i tried calling even mail d ukvi but my GT nairacard was failing so i sent mail to d auto machine.yesterday i got my passport with visa stamp atleast d waiting no waste.once again thanks to everyone for der contribution
I used gtb naira master card yeaterday.

Was the money in saving account? You should have moved it to current account if you have. mine alao initially failed when the money was in saving account. i remember i had same issue un 2016 application and got it resolved when my instinct yold me to move the money to gtb current account and retry the card payment again. It worked. I moved to current account and it worked.

bottomline: Visa payment thru that uk visa portal works only with gtb current account.

I think BA do morning flight, leaving about 8.30am and get to the UK around 2pm though from Abuja.
Already booked and paid for Airfrance 11pm from Lagos.

I can bet you get the visa within 5 working days! Why, your application is straight forward. Based on your previous application and immigration history, the ECO knows that you're unlike to overstay
So straightforward. Even gave me the confidence to not bother with personal bank statement sef.

Virtually all the key expenses had alreadybeen paid for - flight, hotel, even taxi - by the company and attached. And I'm not a first time UK visitor. Not even second. And we have an office in the UK.

All these reasons made me gamble with priority, rather than do super priority that will cost more than 3 times the amount

You will be fine without the bank statement
Thanks. I was without bank statement, last year.

Getting the visa not later than 14th October (traveling night of Sunday, 15th) is my only concern.

Watched my passport almost expiring. Hate going to government agencies, hate queuing in general. Yet to renew my driver's license because of this too.

Got approval for this travel just 4 days ago. Gatecrashed to renew passport at immigration in 2 days. Gatecrashed at visa office.

Now hoping the visa will not be delayed.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Jarus(m): 5:35pm On Sep 29, 2017
Finally submitted my applications and documents this afternoon by 3pm.

Applied for passport renewal on Tuesday and got it today
Rushed straight to complete the priority service application form and paid $460 priority service fee
Printed the form, attached the docs, and gatecrashed at the TLS VI office without appointment (thankfully, it's 5 minutes drive from my office)
Paid extra 30k for walk-in
Done with my biometrics by 3pm

So I have 10 working days between now and my travel day. I hope I'm able to pull this through.

PS: I didn't attach bank statement. My company is sponsoring this trip. My hotel, flight and even pick-up taxi booking at Heathrow have been booked from our London office and all documents to show that were attached. The letter of introduction was also included, which says the company will sponsor and also has information about what I was going for as well as my pay (which is 7-digit per month). I also attached my tax printout which shows my income and taxes paid for the last 5 years. I didn't attach bank statement in last year application too and got the visa. I think this too should fly, even without bank statement - time is my only worry. Used standard last year and got the visa within 11 working days (submission to collection). Now using priority service and got 10 days to travel date.

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Jarus(m): 12:10pm On Sep 28, 2017
I still think I should stand a chance with priority if submitted 9 working days before travel day.

Company (oil company) sponsoring it
Hotel, flight everything already booked and paid for, to accompany my application
Been to the UK couple of times in the past, including October last year.

The only delay to date is my renewed passport which I'm waiting for and which will be ready tomorrow Friday and my application and docs can be submitted Tuesday 2nd October, 9 working days before travel date of 15th October.

I think these facts should make my priority application seamless and be ready within 9 days.

justwise et al

Looks like I have run into further trouble.

Like I said earlier here, I'm in a very tight position - just got approval for the UK conference on Monday, started renewing my passport yesterday (expected to be out Friday). Travel is 15th October.

In a bid to make sure everything is ready before my new passport is ready, I started filling the UK visa application form online on Monday (two days ago), so that once my passport is ready, will just complete the application, pay, pick appointment and dash to the submission office.

Since I knew I can edit anytime, I did the following:

- filled placeholder - just random info - for information that will be available by Friday (hotel to be booked by my office in the UK and I will be advised before Friday - so I just put a hotel around the area I am visiting as hotel to stay), and just guessed a random number and put as passport number of my yet-to-be-issued passport, in the hope that I will edit when I have all the info on Friday

- chose priority service based on earlier info I have that priority service will be treated within 5 days.

- I stopped the application at payment in the hope of continuing when I have full info and then pay

I logged in today to start updating, specifically to change to super priority only that (and edit the new passport number and hotel address later), only to see I can't edit again.

To think I edited part of the application yesterday (with info available).

Now, I can't edit anything again today.

What can I do? Some of the info there are just placeholder that I want to change, and I also want to change to super priority, now I can't do that again!

CareerRe: Does The Chairman Of A Company Have An ID Card? Who Ratifies It? by Jarus(m): 7:34am On Sep 27, 2017
Chairman is in most cases non-executive position and not likely someone that needs to come to the office on daily or even weekly basis.

I want to guess that he doesn't need ID card. If he needs, I would think any other member of the Board, especially the CEO, should do the signing - if ever necessary, which I don't think it is.

Nope.
Oh dear. Have to do super priority.

How things changed so fast (for worse) just within a year. Did standard within 13 days (drop of docs to pick up of visa) this time last year.

Did 6 months then, otherwise would not have needed new visa for this.

Any 9 days?

Wow! if you pull this off then you need to replace Buhari immediately lol.

Though people do get passport the same day(Don't ask me how if you are a Nigerian).

Priority service has replaced standard service recently (sadly) but if you can afford super priority then you stand a good chance.

If you have any friend with domiciliary account that will help
So you dont think 9 days is guaranteed for priority service (which is put at 5 days on their website)?
