I'm not directly comparing them as they are fit for their customers, but I just believe for unlimited package, I'll be getting unlimited usage. For 25k you could get 120gb from MTN/Airtel but for 25k you can't get more than 50gb because of the throttle clause from them. I'd like to know if you currently use them so you can enlighten us better
At the end you'll go for what suits you

Yes I have been using them for a while now

God forbid! They are the official people of konnect in Africa. Called them up to 6 times to get them right.
Pro: you can use them any where in Nigeria
Cons: After 20gb you get get throttled to 5mbs/s after 30gb you get 1mbps/s and installation is quite on the high side but it's normal.

So since you haven't used them , how did you know MTN is faster ?

10Mbps is less than 2MB/S.
That's pretty low speed.

No need dragging this. Swift offers capped data services but unlimited at off peak periods and weekends.

Similar to what I get at Vsat services but over 5 times the speed.

As much as I get your point on the cost of StarLink data services, it's 4k for me please.
There is no basis comparing 4k resolution with full HD, the difference is like day and night.

The iptv I am using offers 4k resolution in over 70% of their live channels and VOD.

Which IPTV service is that ?

Swift doesn't offer unlimited Internet service.
The unlimited service is only available at night time and weekends and I have read very horrible reviews about their services. Besides, Swift is not available to my location.

Smile is a huge pile of trash. Hardly get 3mpbs in my location, let's not even talk about the 'unlimited' stuff with them. I purchased their router and Internet plans and can authoritatively tell you they are a huge pile of shit. Maybe my location.

I also use vsat Internet, Konnect Africa. They offer Internet services similar to Swift and can be good at times but I currently cannot understand their free night unlimited in their plans.

Mtn hynetflex is by far the fastest but they are not unlimited.
I have over 5 different routers and can tell you Internet services are piece of trash in Nigeria.

What I do with 100Mbps?
I currently get an average of 90mbps with mtn in my location and I do stream a lot in 4k resolution on Netflix and other services and sometimes 8k on YouTube.

You mean MTN hynetflex is a faster internet than Coollink Konnect ?

This is a pic of Uyo . Imagine if all those bungalows and shanties are demolished and replace with even 8 stories .
The 20 story highrise in Uyo is a good step ,but highrise does not always have to be for office purposes. Nigerians must get used to highrise living ,not necessarily for office purposes.

High rise living with epileptic power supply, non existent public water supply, gas etc. You should know, public utilities need to be put in place to serve as a backbone for this kind of living.

But it shouldn't stop you from coming to invest more ...having two shoprite is not really a bad idea

If shoprite can open shop in Uyo, then that would be a remarkable development.

You know, I had to bring this to my pastor today... and we searched different Bible translations together.

Matthew 19:7-12
[7]“Then why did Moses say in the law that a man could give his wife a written notice of divorce and send her away?” they asked.
[8]Jesus replied, “Moses permitted divorce only as a concession to your hard hearts, but it was not what God had originally intended.
[9]And I tell you this, whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery—unless his wife has been unfaithful.”
[10]Jesus’ disciples then said to him, “If this is the case, it is better not to marry!”
[11]“Not everyone can accept this statement,” Jesus said. “Only those whom God helps.
[12]Some are born as eunuchs, some have been made eunuchs by others, and some choose not to marry for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. Let anyone accept this who can.”

Verse 9 resolved my doubts. I’m happy I’m finally cleared on the matter. Thanks, dear.

You are welcome . I am pleased your doubt has been cleared .

Where did you read that one from? undecided

What I understood is that remarriage is only permissible once the erstwhile spouse dies.

"I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except on the grounds of sexual immorality, and marries another commits adultery.” Matthew 19:9.

Read that scripture very carefully.
One is free to divorce and remarry only if the partner is guilty of sexual immorality . Otherwise, if divorce and remarriage is carried out on any other ground , it would be an adultery. Clearly , adultery is the only reason the Bible permits a divorce. And divorce means dissolution of marriage.
Family / Re: I Was A Husband: My Experience by Jascon4: 8:40am On May 17, 2020
PrimadonnaO:

I Cor 7:10-11 “Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife.”

Rom 7:1-3 Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.”

Truthfully, I’m personally seeking clarification on this, too, because ignorance is not an excuse in the sight of God. But that’s what the Bible says...

The scriptures you quoted are simply reaffirming the scriptures the other fellow quoted. The only ground permissible for divorce is when a husband or wife commits adultery. Therefore, remarriage is allowed in that context. Also, remarriage is acceptable if any of the couple dies.

However, if a couple separates for any other reason , remarriage is precluded. Otherwise it would be a case of adultery. This implies that the scriptures also allows for separation but without the option of remarriage .

True talk..
People need to be mindful. Even if you wan buy from all this road side hawkers, don't be in hurry to wear it, till you finished sterilizing it by washing with disinfectant and soap(possibly using very hot pressing iron on it)

If you buy a contaminated face mask, there is a very high possibility that you will get infected. Would you not touch the face mask with your hands? Afterwards, can you really remember to control how your hand touches your face, your phone or even your clothes ? Remember the virus is highly contagious.

Better to avoid the poorly handled road side face mask altogether except maybe the sealed ones. Better to be safe than be sorry.

Anybody who read the story would know the girl is a big liar. The story doesnt add up. The guy soaked her clothes in water and snapped her nude and even recorded a video. Lies. Did he force the clothes off her body? She just came to his house, quietly watched him remove her clothes including pant if she wore any, then soaked them. Note she visited him. She also claimed she gave him 18k to buy a phone for her. Why would anyone give a cobbler money to buy phone. Is he a phone seller? How will a graduate give a cobbler money to buy phone for her. This is love affair gone wrong and she decided to frame him up. everything was consensual

Can you explain the part where the guy took her nude videos? Can you also explain the part where he was interrogated by the police, then he admitted that he recorded the nude video to deter the victim from reporting to the police ?
