Nigeria seems to be the only country where the security agencies working for the same government see each other as their enemy, and engage or attack each other at the slightest provocation. If not the Police Vs Army, it would be the Police Vs Navy.
This is a proof of sheer lack of discipline in the military/paramilitary forces. Makes one question the very essence and integrity of their training. They require a total re-orientation and psyche overhaul.
It is an embarrassment to the government, Nigerians and the Heads of these agencies. |

4C2215131: I know quite a lot of them. You find them a lot in the finance and telecom sector and in the huge multinational firms.
They still have same shitty attitude. What most now do is get a child or two from a man and that's that. They settle down to enjoy their lives with gigolos and stuff. They thrive on the baby mama syndrome. And lest I forget they are usually very religious.
If I tell you the number of matured, single and childless ladies I know in Chevron, Shell, Schlumberger, MTN, Banks etc (yeah, I do get around and if any of y'all is interested maybe I could hook y'all up. Just be prepared to take Bullsh#t. Look at them rushing for number! Better get a job!) you'll be shocked AND if I tell you the number if cheating married women in same firms you'll be petrified AND if I tell you the number of single baby mamas in these firms, you'll be dazzled!
It is what it is. Let everyone find what makes 'em happy. If it's being single, shag a young chap baby mama scanario that rocks your boat, well na you sabi! Well, it is a fact that women that are rich and powerful find it difficult to settle down with a man, due to the pride and arrogance associated with their social status. However, the number of these women cannot be compared with the greater majority of our average ladies who sit down and do nothing but get unnecessarily picky about men. The latter is more common on this than the former. |

4C2215131: There are those that still don't settle for anything. They go down fighting!
A misconception I've noticed is that a lot of chaps feel as soon as ladies start getting old (late 20s and beyond) they start getting desperate and relaxing the rules. A lot of them don't! They still hold on to that same attitude that got them in the dilemma they face in the first instance.
Whether it pans out for them in the long run is fodder for another story. Only an insignificant few would still remain obstinate after missing out in their prime. |

akinbimatt: I can help you recover it,the fact is if you google for all this file recovering softwares, almost all are trial so they will never recover upto 20percent of what you lost.
Anyway,as an engineer,I have all my paid version softwares and file recovery software aswell.full version which will recover all the files and saved them on an external hard drive.you will need an external harddrive with much space in it depending on the size of the harddisk you format and the content in it. If the system you formatted is also partitioned with huge space left in other partition, you can use it aswell.
if you are in lagos, call me and meet me with the system at ikeja,if you are not, call me to purchase the full version of the software.the software is useful in many ways,it will recover movies, documents, musics, and many things on all system, formatted or not, deleted or not, deleted and emptied from recycling bin. And more.but mind you it takes time to recover things depending on the contents of what you have on the system.mathew 08061609181 Bro, can you solve a problem with external hard drive? My external has sort of malfunctioned as I cannot access any of my files on it nor even make use of it. Tried it on another computer, still same thing. |
Computers › Re: Buying The Right Laptop by Jascon4: 6:27pm On Jan 23, 2016 |
real4ayo: It's that time of the year. That time, when we all want to change our gadgets, just because it is a new year. Happy New Year to you all by the way. Today I would be giving Tips on things to look out for, when getting a Laptop
1. Requirement Firstly, what are your requirements for a new laptop? It's very important to know what you need your new laptop for. Is it an upgrade of your current unit or a direct replacement? Do you just need it for normal daily typing, viewing documents, and watching movies? Or do you need it to run heavy software like Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Premier, etc.
2. Processor The requirement factor leads directly here. Once you know what your requirements for a new laptop are, you can find out the kind of processor you need to be searching for. There are two main brands of processors, which are AMD and Intel.
AMD Processors give more affordability and they give cheaper options for users who are looking at getting a new laptop on a budget. The downside to AMD processors is its overheating issues, which most of the time gets the VGA cards on motherboards damaged if not well managed.
At RepairAm.com we have had to Repaired a lot Amd Processor Laptop with the overheating issue. We always recommend Intel processors as they are more durable and a bit affordable. There is really no point going for a laptop you can afford too easily and not get the best off it. It is most important to spend right and get the best out of the laptop you get. If you need a laptop for typing, watching movies and viewing documents purpose, then our recommendation in ascending order would be Intel Atom, Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium, Intel Dual-core and Intel Core i3 with a speed from 1.2Ghz to 2.3Ghz. If you need the Laptop for Graphics related work, video rendering, gaming, or you just need a super-fast Laptop, then I would recommend (Least to Best)- Intel core i3, Intel core i5, Intel core i7.
3. Graphics Card Once you have chosen the processor, the next thing to look at is the graphic card. If you are into graphics work, like video rendering or gaming, then you need to worry about the Graphics card. If you are not into any of that, then you are fine with a normal Intel graphics card. However if you need the laptop for gaming, graphics and designing, or video rendering, you need a laptop with either an AMD Radeon (formerly ATI Radeon graphics ) or an NVidia Graphics Card. Lately, most people prefer NVidia Graphics, however the important thing to note is the Dedicated Ram to the Graphics. You could either have 512MB, 1GB dedicated, 2GB or even 4GB dedicated (least to best). So the choice is yours. P.S: The Processor and Graphics card cannot be upgraded in laptops most of the time, so it's very important to buy and choose what suits your purpose.
4. Storage Drive The hard drive is the part that has the storage space in any laptop. The hard drive is a traditional storage technology and most of the time, the storage space a laptop comes with does not really matter as it can be upgraded anytime by simply swapping it for a new one. Lately, newer storage technologies have surfaced, like the flash memory or solid state hard drives. The solid state hard drives are normal hard drives but with immovable parts. In traditional hard drives, there are moving parts which help in reading different sectors which store files. Solid state drives are faster in sorting out files and that can be felt while working on the laptop. The latest storage technology is the flash memory which is really awesome in the speed in getting files out. Flash memory storage options make laptops more expensive. It is to note here that flash memory cannot be upgraded, so if your laptop comes with flash memory, you are stuck with it until you decide to get a new laptop with a higher storage or just go for an external hard disk drive for secondary backup.
5. RAM (Memory) Ram size is very important as it works hand in hand with the processor. Most laptops have 2 ram slots, except some netbooks that have just one slot. Most laptops come in half sizes per slot. For example, a laptop with ram size of 8GB comes with 4GB per slot. A laptop that comes with 8GB most likely can be upgraded to 16GB, which means both 4GB sticks will be changed out to double 8GB sticks. If it needs to be upgraded to 12GB, this means one 4GB stick will be removed and an 8GB stick would be added to the 4GB to make it 12GB ram. So for a laptop which would be used for normal typing work and web browsing, 2GB ram would be alright. For optimum speed, we recommend a minimum of 4GB RAM size. Gaming and video rendering would require a RAM size for 8GB ram and above.
6. Screen size There are questions to ask when it comes to screen size. Firstly, will you be taking the laptop around? Do you need the screen to be large for the kind of work you do? Mini laptops with screen size of 10”- 11.6” can be taken around it is mostly used for normal typing work. For graphics, design, photo and video editing work, you are better off with a laptop screen size from 15.6”- 17”.
Now that you know how to choose the Right Laptop for you need Its great you choose the Right Source also..

Imagine how a full fledged adult married woman would allow herself to be deceived, brainwashed and sexually enslaved by a semi illiterate man. It baffles me how people could be so gullible in this 21st century.
These sexual predators actually seek out the weak, naive and gullible ones to prey on. It is indeed disheartening. |
Romance › Re: Your Date Abandons You At The Restaurant, What Would You Do In This Situation? by Jascon4: 6:34pm On Jan 13, 2016 |
jamela: Restaurants and bars know the person who orders, pays. That's why in developed societies, the waiter always serves both parties menu booklets, the bills come back enclosed in the booklets used to order. It seems some Nigerian outfits use this lack of awareness to defraud their male customers, some even go as far as encouraging the females who arrive in company of a male to try their new expensive dish just so the male would have to pay for it or risk looking like a douche.
It's unfair to go out with a man and expect him to empty his pocket just because you have an appetite. It's either we both pay for ourselves or if he insists on paying, I tell him what options I fancy on the menu and let him decide what's okay for him to order. Nothing wrong with offering to order for yourself if you need any extras, you might as well even decide to get dessert for you both. That was some thoughtful perspective. |

17. Endtime ➡ slang used to describe a weird stuff. Even though the word itself is a/an noun/adverb. NLers somehow convert it to an adjective. e.g. an endtime topic. The slang was believed to be first used by a NLer called lasisi69. Tho this has not been verified.
18. ban ➡ This occurs when a member breaks certain forum rules. He/She will not be able to reply to a post or create a topic for the period of the ban. Ban duration can be from few hours to few days, depending on the nature of the offence.

TonyeBarcanista: Has FG banned cars because terrorist carry bombs in motor vehicle? The comparative advantage of car over Hijab cannot be overemphasized. Car is an indispensable part of life. Mostly, It saves lives and aids living, among other innumerable benefits. It is an integral part of our lives and society. Today's world cannot do without it. Hijab, on the other hand can be dispensed with. Stopping Hijab will not put our collective lives in danger as would banning cars, on the contrary it would save thousands of lives. It is a little, maybe temporary sacrifice to be made by a few for the overall safety of all. |
