Nigerians are so easy to deceive, a very gullible set of people so I'm not surprised people are actually celebrating this. But what I want to say is that if u look at how much has been spent over the past 3 yrs and the results on ground, they do not correlate. There is a huge gap so don't be deceived.

What on earth should make an indicted senator walk free while common citizens who are not even indicted get treated like criminals?

It's disgusting to see youths whose life has been wrecked by the useless politicians coming to the defense of their oppressors, all in the name of hateful politics.

For crying out loud, Melaye has been indicted in a murder case. He should clear his name. Attempting to escape from lawful arrest is another big offence for which he must be treated worse. In many countries, he will be shot dead for that stunt.

Youths should stop being intellectually lazy for once.

Don't be deceived Buhari is not fighting corruption, he is silencing his enemies. A man disobedient to court rulings and a known violator of human rights, what corruption is he fighting?? The one that is limited to people who speak against him?? That itself is an act of corruption. P.S. I'm not saying Dino should freed because he is a senator, we have courts and judges let them decide that. That is what makes us a civil society

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the remand of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi of Delta state to Ikoyi Prison.

This development follows the arraignment of the senator by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of fraud.

Nwaoboshi who represents Delta North district at the National Assembly, was arraigned by the anti-graft agency on Wednesday on two counts of fraud.

PoliticsNGR learnt that the Presiding judge, Justice Mohammed Idris ordered that the lawmaker be remanded in prison till Friday when a ruling would be given on whether or not to admit him to bail.

Counsel to Senator Nwaboshi had asked the court to grant his client bail on self-recognisance, but the EFCC opposed the bail application; informing the court that there were still pending charges against the lawmaker.
