Politics / Re: Bishop Oyedepo Said He Will Open The Gates Of Hell On Whoever Opposes GEJ. by Jay5000(m): 2:57pm On Jan 25, 2015
Anyone who believes GEJ is a Christian is dumb. Unfortunately that's the problem of most modern day Christians. They don't even know what Christianity is. Simply put, if our Lord Jesus Christ was like GEJ, i would immediately renounce my Christianity.

with or without Igbo vote APC will win with a landslide victory. Next pls
i beg to differ. It's a no-brainer that the Ibos are the largest Non-yoruba ethnic group in Lagos. Any serious politician knows how important it is to get their support. If you do the math, you'll realize that yoruba votes will be divided because Jimi is also Yoruba. Apc understands this and thats why they are seeking the support of the ibos. Think about it.

Religion / Re: HELP! My Prayers Work On People Than Myself... by Jay5000(m): 7:32am On Dec 17, 2014
koife:
I have noticed with a bit of pains that prayer works
on people and not me!

I have had the opportunity to pray and intercede for
people and it comes out positive, but one surprising
fact
is that I hardly get answers when I pray for
myself...

It all started during my degree years; I will teach and even help people during examination but often time their result comes out better than mine.

Fast forward to 2days ago. I prayed for someone who was
koboless, to have a surprise gift to the tune of
hundred
of thousands for a project she scrambled for. Less
than 56 hours later, she got it.

I personally dropped someone's CV to be considered for
bank job and less than 20hours letter the person
received a call for interview.

And today I prayed and
my kid sis was given a visa....where as I have tried
severally without succeeding.

This, amongst other
bizzare
experiences have become a cause for concern.

Matured advice only please!

God has probably answered your prayers.
He gives you what you need and not everything you ask for.
He knows what is best for you.
God may just be saving you and your sis from heartache.
Visa is not always a blessing.
I don't understand why a lot of people think it is.
Remember that His plans for you are of good and not of evil.
Trust God and be thankful.
He always knows what He is doing.
Politics / Re: Buhari Has Nothing New To Offer: PDP by Jay5000(m): 8:29am On Dec 12, 2014
The most ardent critics of GMB always base their arguments on religious sentiments that are based on hearsay.
I'm yet to see a GMB critic that challenges his integrity and credibility.
What we need most in this country is to get rid of corruption.
So I say 'yes' to GMB because he is corruption-free.
I'm tired of Mama Patience harassing sitting governors and giving people expired rice.
I'm tired of all the impunity, insecurity and bloodshed.
I'm tired of our incompetent president that believes that stealing is not corruption and 'doesn't give a damn'
We desperately need a change.

The most likely reason she took it off is because she wants to get some. It's a well known fact that rings protect women from 85% of preying men. The stats are reversed in the case of men with rings, so it's pretty obvious why she took hers off. Her cover story is just a silly excuse. It would have been better to say she wants to get some because she thinks her husband is cheating or something. The way I see it, they'll be lucky to last another year together, especially as divorce is no longer a big deal in 9ja. Gdluck to them

Gombs: If you study the scriptures you will not find one Man of God going against God, sinning against God, the only thing you can find is a Man of God, maybe...in two different things

Source: September Global Communion Service

Lies...rhetorics... 1 Kings 13:16-26 gives us a good example of a man of God going against God's instructions. I wonder if he reads a different bible. Fortunately, most people don't study the scriptures or think, and so lies like this go unnoticed.

Not surprised. How else will they sell zmapp? Silver (colloidal silver) has long been known to be a very safe and powerful antibiotic even though the U.S has been suppressing this info. because it can't be patented and as such is bad business for big pharma. Colloidal silver has always been known and sold in the alternative medicine market in the U.S even b4 Ebola.

Computers / Re: PC Turning Off When It's Hot. HELP. by Jay5000(m): 2:55pm On Dec 03, 2013
Why does my mind tell me it's a HP laptop? I doubt if i'm wrong. Cheap build. Cheap conductor used for the GPU sink. doesn't vent the heat properly so after a while it packs up completely. @ some point they did a firmware upgrade that makes the system fan turn continuously (and sound like a generator). Didn't help. you can check for a copper version of d conductor on ebay. "GPU heat sink copper shim" is the keyword. I bet u all the search results will have "HP" somewhere. Known problem with HP. Don't bother calling customer service. Crashes completely a few months after your warranty neways. Permanent fix? never buy a HP personal laptop. Business versions are fine. Goodluck.

You're the one that needs to read well b4 posting. It says the woman must cover her "haired head in church". It also says that exposing the hair is the same as carrying a shaved hair; which is disgraceful. It can be deduced from that verse therefore that women with shaved hair are not required to cover their hair. It never said women with shaved hair should cover their hair and the ones with hair shouldn't bother, so i really dont know how you came to your conclusion. You may choose to remix it to suit u but the instruction is quite simple.

@OP; the exploitation of support/contract staff in 9ja is not limited to banks alone. It happens everywere in 9ja even in multinational coys. Matter of fact, banks only recently learnt that format. It is sad however, to know that it is our fellow 9jans (Xtian and Muslim) who go to religious houses to fast and pray for 9ja everyday that actually prey on, impoverish, exploit and dehumanize and stifle the growth and progress of their own countrymen, most times for the fun of it. That is why we are where we are as a nation. If oyinbo do am to us we'll scream "racism!''. How do we classify this black-on-black exploitation? No wonder oyinbo dey always paint devil black. cry@OP; the exploitation of support/contract staff in 9ja is not limited to banks alone. It happens everywere in 9ja even in multinational coys. bukatyne: I doubt if banking institutions are run the same way outside the country.

Only in Nigeria....In the UK, high school students on holiday work as tellers in the banks while in 9ja you'll require an OND/HND to be a gateman in the bank.

Programming / Re: Why Waste 4 Years On Computer Science In University? by Jay5000(m): 8:42am On Sep 10, 2013
Google 1000 random IT job adverts in developed countries and you'll be surprised to see that not a single one requires you to have a university degree. However, university degrees are important in 9ja for just about anything you want to do. Banks require that their security men at least have an OND. Even int'l companies here, on arrival quickly learn to demand for degrees (mainly as a crowd control measure). So it's very important that you get a degree if you plan on working in 9ja. If not, i don't think you'll ever need it in the West, unless you want to teach.
Travel / Re: Should I Quit My Job For Masters In The Us? by Jay5000(m): 3:45pm On Sep 03, 2013
Don't do it. It will be a big mistake. Nobody asks you for a Masters degree (or even Bachelors degree) for IT jobs in developed countries. Don't lose your current job and waste your money for nothing. If you want to work in the US, you can acquire the relevant certifications and try applying for the jobs from here.I'm talking from experience.

TV/Movies / Re: Big Brother Africa Logo & Illuminati Seeing Eye Are Similar? by Jay5000(m): 8:11am On Jun 11, 2013
OP; The phrase "big brother" originally comes from a very interesting book titled "1984" by George Orwell (real name Eric Arthur Blair). Completed in 1948 and published in 1949, a year before his death, the book paints a prophetic and accurate picture of a future dystopia where we are all enslaved, controlled and our every move spied on by the elite. It is shocking how accurately this guy describes todays events in 1948. It is strongly believed he had access to manuscripts of the occult elite describing their plans for total physical and psychological enslavement of man and their plans for world government divided into "police-state" regions that are controlled by them. It talks about spy cameras used to spy on everyone and all. "Big brother" is the unseen eye of the government that monitors your every move. Get the book or look it up on Wiki. It'll answer all your questions.
