Saminu Turaki, Ex Gov of Jigawa now a senator, who was formally chargedwith stealing 36 billion Dollars from his state as well as diverting state funds through several front companies run by his associates and his brother, Bashir Turaki. It was also alleged that he took 100 million Dollars personal loan from GTB  secured with Irrevocable Standing Payment Order against Jigawa monthly allocations from the Federal Account.

8. Ex Governor Kalu's 107 corruption count charge of stealing, money laundering and diversion of funds using his mother, daughter, wife and brother to divert some 5 Billion Naira to build his business empire including Slok Airlines, Slok Pharmaceuticals and a Newspaper house

9. Iyabo Obasanjo Bello's 470 Million Health fund: Where she was charged with receiving illicit tly, 10 Million Naira of the money.

The painful thing is that the stealings are perpetrated by a band of brainless nonentities, who don't even have the gut to spend the money wisely. Most of their millions are lying in foreign banks all over the world.

The National assembly and the AGF Andoaakaa are on a collision course. The AGF maintained that Jonathan and any Minister can act on behalf of Yar’Adua, relying on Section 5 of the Constitution which confers on the President powers to delegate authority.
But the question that will occupy the minds of the lawmakers in Abuja this week will be: 'Can Vice President Goodluck Jonathan officially function as President without the invocation of Section 145 of the Constitution?'
