It's laughable that someone can actually bring up the automobile industry's woes during the credit crunch like Nigeria was supposed to be immune from it. Married women usually have the occasional time offs for maternity care, children care et al 

Basically the less ties you have the better for multinational companies especially in the oil and gas industry
