ManchesterGUY:Really?? Can you prove this? |
ManchesterGUY:What makes it illegal? Because you and Buhari says so? Have you ever read the Nigeria constitution? Who qualifies a separatist group or body as being proscribed is not the executive nor the Legislature. It is the work of the Judiciary. Malami is an idiot and a big shame to the legal profession. Did you read those trash he said ? I want you to try and get a copy of Nigeria Constitution 1999 as amended and study it. There you’ll realize that the IPOB shouldn’t be proscribed. The Fulani caliphate just don’t want to lose their revered establishment called Nigeria. They are afraid that once any dissident group succeeds in their secession bid, others will follow. In an organized environment, whoever arrested Kanu should’ve been fired by now. Nigeria is a signatory to international treaties on human right abuse and the Federal government erred in the manner in which Kanu was arrested. They should release him, apologize to him and pay him the 500 million naira damage the court awarded him. This shows one thing: Malami is a dunce and Kanu is way more brilliant and intelligent than Buhari and Malami combined. |
franksam2009:Brother May I ask you a question? With all the acclaimed sales of crude oil and her tech know how, what’s Russia GDP per capita at 2022? About 9500 USD. Compare that to countries in Western Europe, not to talk about USA. I think Russia is actually overrated.Don’t you agree? |
franksam2009:It certainly will. Mercedes Benz in Russia hired mostly Russians, paid taxes to Russian government and provided streams of both direct and indirect logistical supply chain that created Revenues to Russian Government. So yes it definitely will affect them . $ 2 billion investment pulling out of a country with $ 1400 billion is a whole lot.And let’s be clear, by the time you add all the ancillary supply chain businesses to it, it goes up way more than that. No country in the world thrives in isolation. |
Newyorkitis:Russian Tech is and has almost always been invested in arms and weaponry. As far as commercial applications are involved, they look up to the West. But with US and the West imposing sweeping economic sanctions on them, and US cutting down on China exposure to US chip technology, Russia is in a long ride. No company in the West is willing to supply them with advanced chip manufacturing technology. |
Tinubuwins2023e:Are they foolish in visiting and support flood victims? Are you human or demon? You don’t sound human. The fact that your families and relatives are not affected shouldn’t take away the humanity in you. Get some sense please .It’s called humanity and not eye service. Learn where to draw the line between politics and having a conscience. Thank you!!! |
siofra:Haba mama, Did you not tell you that you’re still a virgin? Why do you need a sugar daddy?? |
Acuteintrovert:Great thoughts mate. Very expository. And I dare add that even till this day, black Americans drive the sport industry in the United States. What that means is the they generate humongous revenue within the system. |
360clips:My dear, It’s not as easy as you make it sound. There’s a stigma to being born into slavery.Be grateful that black community leaders like MLK in the United States stood up and fought for recognition, equity and fairness. It was not always like this. I live and work in the United States. Be thankful that there’s a black community here in the first place. The black sort of laid the foundations with their sweat and blood. Whatever it is you a black person enjoys today in America came at the a great cost, sometimes with human lives. So learn to be appreciative. I agree that most of them are lazy, uncouth and ill-mannered, but you need to understand why that happens. Do you know the feeling of not being able to trace your root? Show some emotions and empathy. And most importantly, be thankful. |
ATLIEN2027:I don’t blame you. Yours days are coming. Can you swear to God Almighty that you’re happy to live in Nigeria with the state of poverty, insecurity under your failed president? You should be worried about where your next meal will come from. Monkey like you. |
ATLIEN2027:You sound dumb and uncivilized. I hope when you’re served this tea you’re brewing, you’ll drink it with all pleasure. Where do you live? It must be a rat hole. Only animals like you don’t reason. Are you aware that if Nigeria was a functional country, Buhari ought to be impeached, removed as president and then tried as a citizen in a competent court of law for violating his oath of office, by not defending and upholding the constitution which he swore to protect? Do you know how to read and right?? I doubt it. |
Odewaleadesoye:In a working nation, national humanitarian emergency would have been declared by the president and commander in chief . Trained military personnel like the army corps of engineers, Red Cross volunteers, and other paramilitary unit would have been deployed, trained and tasked on how to provide relief to all affected persons Nigeria is a failed state. And I wouldn’t be surprised to eventually learn that some huge financial and humanitarian resources have been supplied from international humanitarian organizations and other countries who may be sympathetic to the suffering of common Nigerians. But those aids and money will end up in private coffers. Nigeria is truly a very unique nation. And some people will still queue to vote in these perpetual kleptomaniacs. |
tunjiajayi:All I see here is a failed legal system. And the prosecutor of this case has to be very careful. The fact that the deceased laptop was traced to her proves nothing as far as his death is involved.Someone above me mentioned forensic evidence. In Nigeria can you really trust such forensics? The prosecution team has to convince the judge beyond every shadow of doubt that Chidimna is culpable. Again, If the defendant has a competent attorney, she might just work away free. In the end, it will be between God and the murderer. Osifo Ataga took a marriage vow before God to be faithful to his wife. He died a very Callous and disgraceful death. Regardless of what becomes the outcome of this case, he’s gone, and has brought untold suffering, shame and agony to his surviving family members. It’s such a shame. |
Sontima:In all fairness to Ahmed Tinubu and his band of supporters, Nigeria is at a very critical stage of her national life. From what I see in this video, if true and not doctored, I truly don’t think he has the physical and mental capabilities needed to steer the wheel of the country at this time. He has made many promising strides in life, but his physical and mental health capacity are quite questionable at this time. Anyone who truly loves to see Nigeria get out of the woods, from the present political, economic and social quagmire she’s now in would never want an emergence of an old frail man like Tinubu. I’m sure he had a wealth of wisdom which he can use to support a younger person who’s more intellectually and economically sound to steer Nigeria away from her real and present dangers. I love elders and would never insult one when I see them. We should think Nigeria, and not tribe and religion. Thank you!!! |
Deo1986:Awa, this is a public forum. Jazz down.Abeg. |
PoliteActivist:Please what’s superstitious about this?? Is it the diet?? https://carnivoreaurelius.com/the-top-4-benefits-of-eating-heart/ Read the post about you and tell me what’s superstitious about it. Thanks!!! |
ChizzyBuna:If you have a USD account, tell her to pay directly to your account via WorldRemit. www.worldremit.com |
Robi65:This makes sense. But were you raised by poor parents too? |
Goke7:At this time, it’s beginning to look like you’re ignorant about economics. Banks and insurance companies don’t go looking for people or businesses to take loans from them. It’s the other way round. And who are ‘’you guys’ you’re referring to ? I’m not Igbo,I don’t live in Lagos, never have and never will. Lagos is a glorified hole. I’m far very well off where I’m .Majority of Lagosians live below poverty line. How many businesses are owned and run by Indians and Chinese in Lagos? Most of those Chinese and Indian factories are out of business because of high productivity costs including epileptic power supply. Take all Igbo investments out of Lagos and see how Lagos IGR will significantly drop. The sea port you’re bragging about are only as good when they are utilized. And who makes the most import? The Igbos. You see all the present and past leaders in Nigeria know this. And that’s why they are fighting so hard to not allow Biafra agitation see the daylight . Igbos are the most independent and resourceful of all the tribes in Nigeria. You have to respect that. Even though I know that you’re blinded by hatred. Like I said. I’m not Igbo and I don’t benefit anything from Lagos. |
AsomughaChuks05:I’ve read lot of comments here on Nairaland, but you’re one of the very few to have made very intelligent, and astute remarks. It simply shows you have depth and were properly educated If Nigeria must subsist, those are the ideal things to do. Unfortunately, we have lots of kleptocrats who are very hawkish and would want to consume everything. It’d take a president with a strong political will to set the records straight in Nigeria |
Goke7:They are not. I agree they are not. But I want you to know how economics work. What drives the Lekki port is importation. Right?? Do you agree? The big establishments like the banks exist and thrive because there are private and public sector enterprises who do business with them. My point is that Lagos and indeed other part of Nigeria can’t live in isolation outside Igbo business. Whether you love them or hate them is a different matter altogether. When it comes to investment, you have to give it to them. Now this is not Politics. It’s realism and truth. And please one more thing: Dont allow hate and bigotry to cloud your sense of judgement. Live your life outside that confined and narrow optics of hate that you have .Even Tinubu recognizes the good that Igbo businesses have added to the revenue generation in Lagos and other south western states. And just so you know, Dangote refinery is where some Nigerian politicians hide their stolen loot. Tribes don’t matter in this. |
jerseyboy:Sir I am not Igbo. But let me ask you a question and I want you to be completely honest with me. If you take out the entire Igbo community along with their investments and businesses in Lagos and other south western states, what do you think will be left of it? Again like I did say, I’m not Igbo. This calls for tight self-scrutiny. I want you to think about what that means if you have a conscience. |
dominique:I couldn’t have agreed with you any better. That’s the sensible thing to do. One of the few sensible comments. |
