PoliticsRe: How Bandits Force Oppressed Victims To Release Their Wives, Daughters For Sex by Jaycee07: 2:09am On Aug 29, 2022
MrPRevailer:
Buhari and Biden are 5 and 6.

Globalist puppets intent on engineering nationwide famine, economic inflation and insecurities.
How’s is Biden and Buhari 5&6?
What empirical model or statistics give credence to your assumptions?
Biden won the election on the back of clear cut promises he made to the American people. Climate change, higher taxation to wealthy Americans to create a level playing field to low income families, inflation reduction act, students loans cancellation or pardon, build back better, reduction of prescription drugs for people living with diabetes and other health issues. To the best of my knowledge, the congress has approved most if not all of his agenda and these have been signed into law
Despite his old age, President is astute, intelligent and economical sound. Just last month, 500,000+ jobs were added to US economy.
Can you say any of this about Buhari??How many promises has Buhari yet to fulfill with with less than 8 months to finish his 2nd tenure? Your lord and savior Dumb Trump is enmeshed in series of illegalities with the latest espionage act violation.
As it stands now he risks going to federal prison.
Grow up boy. Then we can have an original thought to share.
Buhari is the most ethnically and religiously divided leader Nigeria has ever had. He remains the worst leader yet. Get the facts right. I mean no insult. please.

Hi guys. I just got an admission into Stutern to learn UI/UX design. Who here has attended Stutern before? What should I expect after graduation?

Is the payment worth it? Are the teachings immersive? Please, share your experiences with me. Thank you.

Sis,

Dm me and I’ll link you up with organizations here who might be interested to hire you when you’re done.
By the way, you don’t necessarily need to be a college grad to get hired.
Study hard and get the foundation of UI/UX, and there’s no telling what awaits you.
I pray for more grace on your path.
Best wishes!!!

It’s like people don’t really understand that this administration is ruling as if they’re intentionally trying to sabotage the economy of this nation. Put aside the economic jargon, and the story is a straightforward one. Global prices and interest rates are on the rise, putting pressure on the finances of countries heavily indebted, who are struggling to pay the interest they owe on all the loans that they have taken out in recent years. That in turn is affecting their ability to keep their economies running — to feed their people, to provide fuel — even as they try to get things back on an even keel after the blows of the covid-19 pandemic.
The consequences now, as the debt crises gather pace and an already fragile global economy struggles with the fallout from the war in Ukraine, many indebted nations Nigeria inclusive, right now are facing the possibility of a series of collapses that could destabilize the lives of millions of people. In the worst-case scenario, “we could head into complete dystopia,” an “apocalypse” of sorts. Jayati Ghosh, an economics professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, said she fears a tide of “terrible economic devastation in many countries … a kind of descent into a combination of warlordism, extreme inequality, extreme material suffering. Just bad stuff. And lots of instability.” Sound familiar?? That is exactly why the insecurity in the country appears to be without end. Fuel prices are only on the increase while they feed their supporters stories of subsidy and years of PDP mismanagement. Why bandits are now getting prime screen time because Northern Nigeria is already in the grip of warlords, the South East is also sliding that way... dystopia! Keep believing it is business as usual with the politics, "government money no dey finish" as some idiots would say. Somalia of the early 90s is just around the next corner if the wrong candidate wins next year.
Very sensible explanation. Thank you. I am
Not a politician. But these saw sad economic realities on ground globally, and it does appear like Nigeria is the worst hit!!

BusinessRe: Falling Naira: EFCC Raids Bureau De Change Firms by Jaycee07: 11:30am On Jul 30, 2022
This is the dumbest things I've read in years. What purpose will your raiding someone's legit business accomplish?
Has EFCC forgotten that the price of USD to naira is determined by market forces ( demand and supply) ? How many bureau de change will you guys raid in the whole Nigeria?
Sometimes, I really wonder whether individuals saddled with the responsibilities of law enforcement have some form of basic qualifications that makes them eligible.
As big as Nigeria is, Couldn't common sense tell you that as a consuming nation that import virtually everything, there will be insatiable demand for foreign currency that support the importation?
Sometimes, I truly wish these things were not true.

RomanceRe: My Girlfriend's Dad Is Homeless by Jaycee07: 11:27am On Jul 17, 2022
Chukstotti:
Hello, everyone, this is my first time posting any issue here but for this issue, I had to.

My girlfriend and I have been together for over two years and she's someone I would love to marry but she comes from a complicated family.
Her dad and mum stay in the same town but don't live together. The mum caters to four out of the six children they have while the other two who are guys live with friends. Her dad had financial issues and that was the beginning of the end of their marriage. Her dad doesn't know me but her mum does. Her mum knows of my relationship with her daughter and we have her approval.

Her dad was asked to leave the place he stays (a semi-completed building) because someone bought the entire building and renovation works have started.

The issue now is,
My girlfriend wants her dad to come to stay with me until he gets a place to rent for himself. That he would only stay till the end of the month. I stay in a room self-contained.
I am confused and doesn't want to disappoint my girlfriend because she loves her dad so so much. Of all his children she is the only one that cares about him.
Please I need your kind inputs.
Ops
I had a somewhat similar experience when I proposed to my wife. The dad ( of blessed memory) called me one day and told me that their house rent had expired for more than six and that he wanted me to give him a loan of 200K back then. He assured me that during the marriage, he’ll make it easy for me just to compensate for the loan.
Mehn, I was utterly embarrassed and couldn’t even tell this to any of my family members.
But I mentioned it to my guy who lived then with me.
He advised me against it indicating that it would be a recurring decimal.
But out of fear that the whole family might be homeless. I parted ways with 100K to help them make part payment for the rent.
Unfortunately, my would be father Inlaw ate the money
And few months after then, we got married and true to what my guy told me, he came back asking for more.

At that point it became clear to me that I was being taken for granted. And I told him that I can only give him the money if he allows me to pay the rent directly to the landlord. He consented and I paid for that year.
Before his passing, I have paid his rent for 5 consecutive years.
Moral of the story:
If you want to assist him, help him for the sake of humanity. But don’t forget that you’d probably keep supporting him in one way or the other as long as you’re with the daughter. I also hope he and his daughter won’t take you your kindness for granted

Good luck.

MANDIPUTIN:

Imagine!!!!

4.2 trillion US dollars just for debt servicing.
Now I see. This is what explains the level of economic hardship in the country. There’s no national planning.
Buhari actually acts before he thinks. The senate president and other senators should have objected to these mindless borrowing. United States as a nation spent 6.82 trillion dollars last year on their annual budget and the biggest chunk of the spending went on defense . If Nigeria a nation with no basic root to modern living services debt to the tune of 4.2 trillion dollars, then Finance minister has no business being in her role, CBN governor should honorably resign and apologize to Nigerians and Mr Buhari should be sent to Guantanamo bay after his tenure. He’s both a financial and real terrorist and Ahmed Lawan should face public execution

CareerRe: How Fast Can I Get A Job As A Data Scientist Or Software Developer by Jaycee07: 12:25am On Dec 25, 2021

Hello nairalands, i am so confuse right now. I just want to transistion into IT and i am confused between learning data science or becoming a software developer. I am so confuse. Help me to decide. I don't want to learn something that is not in demand. Which one is better
Both areas are very lucrative. Regardless of where you live in the world today, software engineering and data sciences are extensively needed and are now in higher demand than ever. One word of caution tho: for you to be very efficient in big data/data scientist, you need to hone your software skills first.I would suggest that you undertake courses on packages like: beam, splunk, Apache ,python and numpy,Keri’s, and Sckitt. Once you understand the concepts of those, you’ll be rolling great.

TravelRe: Does having an MSc. boost the possibility of one in securing a US|Canadian visa? by Jaycee07: 9:12am On Dec 13, 2021
Teejay13:
Hello travel guru's,

This thought keeps lingering in my mind for quite some time now and I taught I should drop it here for public opinion.

Please o, does having an MSc degree in a Nigeria institute really guarantee the possibilities of one securing a US/Canada visa?

Please Nairalanders, what's your take, kindly drop your taught on what your opinion.
Not necessarily. A lot depends of your motivation to travel. If you’re traveling for graduate studies, and you’ve been offered admission into a US or Canadian college, that might provide some merit, provided you meet every other criteria necessary to be allowed entry into the country.
Let me say this . American and Canadian government understand that most Nigerians simply want a way out of hardship in Nigeria. They also know how hard working Nigerians are.If you’ve worked for a US owned company in the past and a background check on run on you and your records are clean, your chances become higher and brighter.
