Salubata: Fashola doesn't deserve this kind of insult from anyone.
He's one of the few best politician we have in Nigeria. But he can insult the then sitting president Is that right? And what makes him one of the best politicians in Nigeria? What’s your definition of best? Is it the best that suits your narrative and personal interests and feelings or the best that had served the citizens with his all? Was this not the same Fashola that was Minister for Power for 8 years? What major change did Nigeria witness in that sector after his disastrous tenure? Nigerians deserve the kind of leaders they have. |

Kenochi: Let me take sometime to educate Nigerians before some people will come here and start claiming that the Economy is failing Most operators in Nigeria's Upstream Oil and Gas Sector know that their game is up,there was a time Nigeria through the NNPCL had to resort to the importation of Refined Crude oil for close to 20 years. This allowed NNPCL and most Oil and Gas companies to participate in the controversy Oil Swap Most Oil and Gas Companies used this fraudulent practice to shortchange the country, they collected crude oil and brought back Refined crude oil and still collected subsidy. Nigeria was fair game and all this big Oil companies looted Nigeria dry Then something happened, the Dangote Refinery was mooted and this would put an end to this evil practice. Most Oil Companies knee that if this Refinery ever started their easy money was over My people, this is what is happening. I am confident that more Oil companies will leave the country because their access to free money is gone for good
Still selling good properties with good titles at the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub....kindly check my signature If your postulations are anything to go by, Why hasn’t Shell sell its deep water asset ( SNEPCO)? |

Biodun556: A gas flare, alternatively known as a flare stack, flare boom, ground flare, or flare pit, is a gas combustion device used in places such as petroleum refineries, chemical plants and natural gas processing plants, oil or gas extraction sites having oil wells, gas wells, offshore oil and gas rigs and landfills.
Flare stack at the Shell Haven refinery in England In industrial plants, flare stacks are primarily used for burning off flammable gas released by safety valves during unplanned overpressuring of plant equipment.[1][2][3][4][5] During plant or partial plant startups and shutdowns, they are also often used for the planned combustion of gases over relatively short periods.
At oil and gas extraction sites, gas flares are similarly used for a variety of startup, maintenance, testing, safety, and emergency purposes.[6] In a practice known as production flaring, they may also be used to dispose of large amounts of unwanted associated petroleum gas, possibly throughout the life of an oil well.[7] Lol. There are hierarchies and chains of command. And most commands have males members as their heads. What has to be is to follow military rules of ethics and conduct. All over the world, there are such misconducts. When that happens the erring officer must be summoned and appropriate discipline given. And the victim also given some sort of compensation to provide solace for being treated unfairly. Romance › Re: I Can't Believe My Fiancée Can Cheat On Me by Jaycee07: 10:32am On Jan 03, 2024 |
GudPpleG8Nation: I'm typing this with heavy burden in heart. I'm getting crazy and weeping.
I met this lady over 6 years ago during my higher institution days, she was a fresher while I'm in my semi final year in school. Things were going well, we had sex after two years of the relationship(I'm the one that disvirgin her).
I have been very caring, stood by her and also,I let go of any ladies that comes my way. I didn't want anything that will stain the relationship. That doesn't mean I'm perfect however I have been trying my best to make her feel comfortable, loved and happy.
I started feeling comfortable and worried about my future with her because I discovered that anytime we had a misunderstanding, before you know it she has find a guy she will be dirty chatting with. She always say she's doing that to hurt my feelings.
I proposed last year, met her mum and one of her uncle and introduced her to my parents officially. Presently, waiting for her extended family to send the list for the traditional marriage.
I traveled to Ibadan on Friday to spend the weekend with her, on Sunday I just took her phone to watch movie when a Whatsapp message, I checked it and I replied the message. The guy called her, she was reluctant to pick the phone, she picked and spoke with the guy. After which the guy messaged her on Whatsapp that he called to confirm she's the one chatting with him and not her bf. I play along and started chatting with the guy. The guy was telling her to come visit him, I started twisting the guy and he was splitting out how he won't touch her when she comes. I confronted my girl, it took her over 8 hours to confessed that they had sex.
Jesus! This is a lady I invested a lot on, build my world around, every other ladies are shit in my presence. Even when I had 1000 of reasons to let go, I still stay with her but right now my world is shattered, I'm going crazy. I need help because I'm dying, where will I start from (I'm 30 years old). Every negative thought of this world is running through my mind (from committing suicide to killing the guy to making the girl useless to herself for the rest of her life) Ops, I am sorry about your situation. Isn’t it ironic that the people we love and make so many sacrifices for hurt us the most? The goodnews is that she was caught before you walk down the aisle with her. Forgive her for your own mental health and sanity, but let her go. From my personal experience, you can never trust her. And even though you’d be gracious enough to forgive her and accept her back into your life, you’ll have lot of regrets knowing that your woman and the eventual mother to your children was dickmatized by another dude. The psyche of that thought and idea alone is enough to drive you nuts. Please let her go. Peace!!! |

https://www.nairaland.com/7892469/he-completed-house-without-uttering
Funny how people exact same thing happened to me last year, this time it wasn’t a from a friend but a blood sister who I thought loved me the way I do for her.
This woman was building her house while pretending to everyone that she was broke.
Funniest thing is, few weeks to moving to us getting to know about the house, she was asking me to lend her 300k as she has plenty debts to pay. Almost sent her 100k, but then I remembered how she prefers to party with her women associates more than she’s willing to buy anything for my parents. This is someone that my dad built and opened shop for.
If a friend do this to me now, walahi I won’t be surprised. Ops Are you angry that your sister built a house and completed it without letting you or anyone else in the family knew about it, or this is anger and surprise about her deceit, claiming to be broke when she had a major financial investment?? |

kkins25: I remember my neighbor back in Naija; the community council was about to sell a nearby land and were re-measuring lands in the area, including ours and my neighbor. Let's call her mama Gloria. Mama Gloria, is a widow with two daughters.
when the community folks came, every house hold men had come out to defend their land, except, of course, mama Gloria. She came out to defend herself, but, she was a woman amongst men. At the end of the day, they took a little portion of Mama Gloria's land, claiming that she had built into the land next to her.
Later that evening, I heard Mama Gloria tending to her backyard farm speaking to herself, mostly grumbling. The words that made ingrained that day into my head was "it's because I don't have husband."
If you live in a society where traditions of old are still clinged to and you're a woman, a man will be your greatest asset. LIke most other women, mama Gloria was employed and was able to single-handedly raise her two daughters through school and even higher education. She was also a farmer, who managed several plots of land worth of farm produce. She was not an average woman, even then, as aggressive as she had become, in the presence of aggressive men, she was still shut down.
Ladies in the city have no clue what women in the rural areas go through, and therefore cannot fathom why women desperately want to cling to their fvcking abusive husbands. It's either that or homelessness and shame.
In today's society, Nigerian society, where women earn 77% less than men, men still hold all the bargaining power. So, what do men bring to the table is a ridiculous question to ask you man, knowing he's most likey way more richer than you.
I think we make the mistake of using western society's data to analyse our situation which is a gross misrepresentation of relationship dynamics. Spot on!!! |

The problem is that the firepower of these fighter jets is simply too much and is unaporopriate to be used in situations such as these.
To deal with bandits or better still, marauder bands as this are what these criminals really are, special forces will be the best.
This will heavily reduce the risk of collateral damage. Also, these bandits tend to have hostages they hold to discourage attacks from government forces.
If Nigeria was like some countries, if carpetbombing entire villages and settlements would mean an end to the bandits, all well and good.

IOCs are no longer being financed by BlackRock owned banks citing climate change initiative. They don't care about the climate, they just want to see an explosion in energy prices that will put the entire globe on its needs. High energy cost translates to high food costs. This is their grand plan in depopulating the world through an ochestrated man made global famine. Oil is a vital component in agriculture . From fertilizers, to diesel powered tractors, pesticides to transporting and storage of food produce. A major war is being waged on the world towards creating an impoverished, malnourished and heavily culled population so as to make the transition to global corporate statehood under the WEF complete. The war in Ukraine is all coming from BlackRock As it not only has seen to sanctions on Russian fertilizers and oil but also grain exports from both Ukraine and Russia . Faiththatworks: There are some issues that are way beyond some people's understanding. There's this person up there with the Moniker, iamAtikulate who's really mixing up issues. His incessant justification of bantering figures and comparing it especially as it to relates to development in Anambra state and the whole Igbo states with their southern counterparts especially Yoruba states is a bit perplexing. Let me try to educate this individual so he stops this comparison. Figures are used to show you activities that may be less visible to the naked eyes. The truth about the internal generated revenue posted shows the total aggregate of activities going on in any locality. You only tax returns on revenue, that is why it's called internally generated revenue. The individual made a lot of assertions that I find very strange, trading goods and services will never generate revenue for any serious minded government. I give an example,if the amount of money exchanged in Onitsha is 1billion every month, the state government is obliged to collect a fraction of the sales generated as taxes ,these taxes will probably be around 5%,which is 50 million. Now compare that to a state like Ogun state, which has an industrial hub like Agabara, any company which generates 1 billion a month will mostly likely cough up to 15% of it's revenue in taxes and permits. In essence,100000 people will end up generating 50 million for Anambra state while less than 10000 individuals will end up generating 3 times what's generated In Anambra in Ogun state. But I end by saying this to imatikulate, whatever figures you are seeing will very soon become child's play in the next 2 years. Lagos and Ogun state will witness massive exponential growth In their revenue when the Dangote Refinery starts production. I'm very very sure Lagos will most likely double it's revenue while Ogun will have around 300-400billion. You should be more concerned about what the Igbo governors will do with the natural resources God has bequeathed to them especially in the area of gas. God bless Nigeria Sir, Please may I ask you how these monetary figures translate to the ease and good of the common man? Because as we speak, Nigeria as a whole is poverty- ridden. More than 80% of Nigerians live below poverty line. If these revenues generated by states are not used to ease people’s suffering, then it’s of no use. More than half of those money end up in private pockets. So there’s truly nothing to celebrate, I don’t care what state generate what . |
