october01:Travel history, Proof of funds, and Purpose of trip. These are a few of the things a visa officer looks at while considering your application. We can't tell you what your chances are. You will have to judge that by yourself. See this guide: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5256ETOC.asp |
ajobi21:Last time I opened that form it opened in my browser. Confirm you've saved a copy on your computer? Confirm you've filled ALL sections? Even if a section does not apply to you please put NA. Lastly, it's possible you need to print, sign and scan it. Click on the instruction icon to the right for details. |
OmoBendel24:Area! I bin forget to hail you. Amended accordingly! |
Ladies and Gentlemen of the house. I, Jayfierce, just received an original passport request. @shadeebee78, OmoBendel24, bigfido, irebami16, WESTERNCR |
helen88:Simple answer is to use a recent statement of account. This is usually the requirement and standard of account statement submission. There's a bottleneck involved when Embassies try to get information from banks that the applicant did not submit. The Embassy would rather send you back to get a more recent one or refuse your application altogether. |
johnpoko:E be like say you nor dey town this one you wan go tomorrow. Greet uncle Awele for me. |
misterbd:As a matter of fact people still go during winter. They dress warmly and head on out to enjoy the cold. Lol @ Titanic. He's not going to jump into the water like Jack. He can even watch night time illumination at a safe distance. olajay5, you can Google Niagara winter packages and see the list of things you can do. You can add it to your trip itenerary. |
olajay5, there's nothing wrong in visiting Niagara Falls during winter. A couple of side attractions won't be there but the Fall itself will be, though partially frozen. |
irebami16:Lol. |

ajobi21:As at September 6th 2016, Paper application is still being handled by Lagos immigration. While Online is handled by Accra immigration. If don't need your passport for travels or for any other business then you can go for paper application. FYI, am currently 135days on the online application along with others over 4 months. |
worldwider:Just tried the the link and it worked. Maybe you need to check your network. You can download IMM5257E from the guide below. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5256ETOC.asp Since you want to go the paper route, Please thoroughly review the guide and print out Document Checklist (IMM 5484). TIPS: 1) When you hover around an area in some of the forms, hints pop up on how to complete it. 2) Take note of "if applicable" forms and consult the guide for further clarification. 3) Answer all sections. If a section does not apply to you then answer NA or Not Applicable. |

WESTERNCR:After waiting 4months plus? Na now I wan start agitation? No time for that. Already pushed my trip forward to next year. Just surprised that a mail came on Saturday from IRCC. |
WESTERNCR:Do i not look relaxed ![]() Just wait until bigfido shows up and know the true meaning of relax. Lol. |
Hi house, I just got a mail that my account has been updated. Checked and saw nothing similar to what smallz001 said. Lets watch it as it unfolds. Surprised to even get a mail on a Saturday. @bigfido please don't terrorize me. Patience. ![]()

brotundes:I am not exactly sure of your question. If you are asking about declaring the land as part of your assets, then I would say NO because the land is not legally yours. If you are asking about including it as a source of income, then you need to show relevant documents that shows you get income from the land. Without proper legal and verifiable documentation I would suggest you leave it alone. |
brotundes:If you are submitting it as part of your employment/business records then you need sufficient proof beyond a letter of introduction to CIC. Do you have any other document apart from a letter that introduces you as the caretaker? Is it a registered agricultural business? Is it a full time job? Do you have proof of income? |
RoboNG:You can use the IRCC case enquiry form. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp . When you get into the form select online temporary residence-visa. Fill the form with your request. Upon submission of the form it will give you an option to upload your document (data page of your passport). They should contact you in 5 business days. I have also seen where VFS global directed someone to mail a scanned copy of the document to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca . You can inquire from them also on steps to take. info.cannig@vfshelpline.com Regards |
brotundes:Do you mean that the property has been transferred to you or do you mean that you are the caretaker? |
bigfido:You need to take your mind off it. Relax and give them 6 months. ![]() |
RedReact:Yup. Check my posts |
bigfido:Lol I think its actually more than that. I think it's 132 days. It's worth mentioning that it takes 3 days to get to the moon in a shuttle. |
awelekiti:So you are not a travel agent. What exactly do you do that requires soliciting young entrepreneurs? |
What honour and what due? I purposely spent time in this forum to help streamline him. He uses personal experience a lot and expects everyone to rely heavily on that. I started showing him how to point people to the right source of information. Make no mistake no one here is a fool. Even the mods have removed some of his comments that would encourage indirect soliciting. It's cost me great personal effort to make sure everyone gets the right information and not rely on his personal experience. The forum has a life of its own and was created even before he joined and would still be when he's gone. This forum has no hero. We don't want a hero. Everyone can get the information they require directly from the source. I told him last night that I would not say anymore out of professional courtesy but if you guys insist on rallying on the issue then you will leave me with no choice. Let this issue end. Add no more fire. |
awelekiti:I have respected you out of professional courtesy and will reserve my comments. Lovely night rest to everyone. |
suredeebee:For someone who just joined Nairaland this night you are quite skilled in PM's that is only available to members. The more you talk the more you present yourself as a creation of circumstance. Just stop adding fire. Is that too much to ask? |
johnpoko:I wonder what's so funny about what was said. You too have rushed In to defend. I wonder if you don't see that it's OBVIOUS! Please add no more fire! |
misterbd, bigfido, awelekiti Time out my people. Please let's cease fire. Every information we require is available from the embassy or through their agents. suredeebee, you appear to be a late creation meant to defend a particular standpoint. We will get the information we require from the horses mouth. Add no more fire. |
