@Omongabti: from a single "What the Crap" to quickly editing it to include an insult labeling your loved ones as 'cyber urchins'; well, u said it not me. Anyway sha, I don give u enough audience. Find ur playmates else where----or continue with your usual ones. Me and u no dey for the same catego. . .Levels different. Deucez! |
*Better to NOT let the famliarity start. |
@Omongbati:Its so sad when a grown man can't take a hint: I do not wish to converse with you. You are too divisive a tribal bigot to acquaint oneself with because with an individual like you when the disrespect starts (and it eventually will) one will regret ever giving you audience; so better let the familiarity start, ok? Let's not get ahead of ourselves now. I mean look at how you referred to me: 'Your People'! Who are my people? If you had any sense and you'd see that I don't claim a certain group (I'm a mixture of just ONE parent's lineage being made up of a combination of at least 3 different tribes); I do not owe allegiance to one single group in Nigeria. I call it as I see it. To me, fair is fair. |
@Ochi-Agha: You really think I made a certain statement because there 'was' a certain 'beef' (which I don't even remember) between us? You must really attach a lot of undue importance to your person. If you really think that I remember you once I log off NL you must be smoking some really potent ish. 'Ask the Bini', u say? Do I sound like someone that needs tutelage about Edo Culture or its people? I am not one of those that promotes ethnic superiority or just talks rubbish that I know not about. I speak with facts at hand; nothing is supposition when it comes to laying down my points. Oh, another group you should refrain from asking me about are the Fulanis and Yorubas, except of course you somehow manage to have those ethnicities in your immediate lineage. As per your "Former Southern Nigerian Republics" Utopia, You advocate a nation made up of what remains of the former Southern Nigeria; your position is hypocritical. You have stated numerous times, in unequivocal terms, how much you despise the Yorubas (you think they are the bane to your development). Why then do you want a country with a group of people with whom you seem to be in constant 'bitter' (as opposed to 'friendly') competition with? I read numerous comments by you and the likes of Onlytruth that seem to advocate "Eastern Development", not because they think it will actually help the Igbos, but because they fervently hope the opening of establishments such foreign embassies/companies, and facilities such as airports and ports in the east, will drive business out of Lagos, cripple its economy, and eventually destroy its economy. With the vile riles of 'Us v Them' which you guys' posts are usually filled with, why then do you insist on living with them in a new country? |
To those who say their group makes up to 35%-40% of Lagos State, or that they own 80% of Abuja. . . . And other Cock and Bull stories (or that they are the Largest Ethnic Group), I ask; How did u get this "Accurate" figure of Yours in a country that no single credible/reliable method of identifying its own citizens/residents? I'm not saying you are not superior to any tribe as you have constantly harped all over NL; I'm just asking, HUMBLY, HOW DID YOU. REACH YOUR FIGURES SO ACCURATELY?! I'd like to witness the buzz that goes on around the world the day a proper and accurate census is done in Nigeria and it is realized that the most populous black nation on earth has only about 90-100 million residents. |
@PhysicsEd: l'enu e naa?! Lol@ Etsako being 50% Muslim. You think say throwing in that unnecessary bit about 'Nupe warriors' converting Edos to Islam would in anyway sway my decision or make me suddenly assume that you know what You are talking about? Ol boi, go siddon for corner! U no sabi wetin you dey talk. Mr Man,a lot of Etsako Muslims have English first names;Still doesn't change their religion. If you no know use google, read more or ask person wey know. Let's even assume say na you right (which u sure aint) and Etsako was split 50/50 btwn Christians and Muslims, doesn't this assert my position that we share more in common with the Yoruba with regards that majority of the time believers in both faiths live peacefully regardless of belief? I rest my case! |
@Omongbati:Yes,Ure right I was thrown under the bus, R u happy?! I don't do kiddie games, go find ur playmates elsewhere.Oya, move on. |
I am appalled! If these posters are going to be leaders of the New Nations that make up the former Nigeria, then nothing will change, really! Its clear that some on here have no clue what they are advocating, are including sentiments in their arguments, or just want to rehash their phantom 'tribal superiority. Period! Some want to bring in previous ethnic sentiments, into what should be a future development plan. Or how do you explain Ochi-Agha's nonsensical analysis, Beaf's (oops, faeb's)rants, or (this one was a whooper) Onlytruth's statement that Edo will not go with the Yorubas, or that most of Edo is Christian?. . . Na who dem go come go with? The names Tunde Akogun, Adams Oshiomole, Dele Momodu,Seyi Olomu and co are from where? Take a wild guess. . . Then as per the Christianity issue. . . Edo state has a very high (if not slight majority) Muslim population. Murtala Ramat Mohammed was an Etsako man, u know? Tony Momoh was born Muslim (his first name is Suleiman). Kassim Afegbua, Mallam Yesufu Garuba, Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Shuaibu Amodu are Etsako too. . . Why u think Shuaibu never left Fatkubu on the bench?! The Edos are just as diverse as the Yorubas in terms of religion (christian/moslem/animist), have learnt to live together in relative peace, plus they share a significant amount of culture and history with the Yorubas.A lot of public figures, and ordinary folks, u see today and think they are Yoruba are actually Edos. If the Edos run off with the Yorubas, what do u think the Itshekiris will do? To those still hoping that Nigeria will stay together, I say to you: "Dreams of Utopia feel good, but reality is better"! Nigeria will split, and I hope soon and this is what I see happening: There will not be bloodshed, at least not initially. Nobody will support the Hausas this time, so that Chapter is closed; they are on their own.I don't know how the eventual partition of Nigeria will end up, but I tell You, whoever gets the Ijaws as part of its share is in for a very long, rough and frightening ride! |
Ah, No vex o! I no wan chop slap early Christmas morning o! 'Shun sir! I throway salute! |
Whoever thinks there won't come a time when Nigeria will eventually delve into total chaos and anarchy, is living a fool's dream. The end is near; and I'm happy that Nigeria will most likely soon disintegrate. Its so sad though that innocent people are caught in the mayhem created by this Klepto Politicos. . . Na every bad thing Naija dey copy. Dem no ever copy good thing. Na so dem do sotay one malo carry bomb put for him epon say hin dey go detroit; im no relax until im blast d blocus go hell. Soon, na suicide bomber dem go dey use. Hopeless evil people! |
@Rossike:Fleeing was the only option! Could you imagine what would have happened to the Igbo nation had Ojukwu been captured alive?! Annihilation! Dem for wipe dem out, patapata! Then Ojukwu would have been humiliated before being put to death! You think there would have been talk of "No Victor, No Vanquished"?! Jokes can be made all day about how Ojukwu fled Nigeria, but the truth is that his capture would have spelt doom for the Igbo nation in its entirety! |
Ileke-Idi: Elunu Razor-Blade. . . .lol |
Iwo naa ye wa wahala wan now, |
Una no go take laugh kill me o! I luff Ileke-Idi. She has a sense of humor. Make una no take am serious. Na play she dey play na. |

Wind don blow we don see fowl yansh! So Andre Uweh is Equals to Abadaba?! Chei, e don finish! |
Even if Ojuwku had a trillion laying in his trash-can that he had no immediate use for, by virtue of his status, deserves the treatment he is getting. . .and more! About the complaints about sick Igbo kids dying off while Gazillionaire Ojukwu is flown to obodo oyinbo for treatment. . . I feel your pain, but, Sorry to tell you: All Animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. Lay your life down for your people, then you'll understand! |
Electricity, 2hrs /day, could be termed "Reasonable", no? Oga Joe, ur mojo is fast waning and the people are becoming so impatient. . . Surely, u can pull a white rabbit out ur hat to mesmerize the people with! |
So, who's the Democrat/Autocrat that a previous poster was alluding to? Buhari is the Autocrat, right, while Tinubu is the Democrat?! LMAO! But, which will work for the betterment of the common people without thinking of first enriching himself and his future generations? Ahhhh. . . .you didn't see that one coming, huh? Anyways, bad pairing! Tinubu should not be the man for Buhari. A better replacement would be Okonjo-Nweala(?), Soludo, or Donald Dude. . . Just my humble opinion! |
Has anyone ever seen what this Inked look like. She talks a good game; hopefully she got the looks to back it up. NL Experience has shown that usually the "good talkers" are usually blah. . . . Anyone remember PlatinumK?! Anyhow, Inked, if you look good and are up for some partying New Years eve, holla at ur boi! Only if u look good tho. God don't like ugly; and neither do I! |
That Nigeria should disintegrate; peacefully! |
Hey, inked, what u doing for New Years? |
Ileke-idi, enu e ti mu ju! Haba, kilode?! Lol |
Anyone that thinks Buhari will not go after the likes of IBB, David Mark, Dimeji Bankole and co is really smoking some real good ish! I've been hoping someone would be wise enough to advice him about making overtures to this vultures and give them a false sense of security. Then, just when they think its all good---wham--- hit them with all sorts of charges in their indictments. I still predict a lot of these old politicians will spend their last days in Prison. I really hope Buhari becomes Nigeria's president, but we all know the deal. . . . |
So, Alh. Harem do I so I now give u $10 sa'arah for providing me with this hopeless long story that I no fit read pas 2mins sef? Oh, u aint begging for alms! Sorry, o, oga me. @Buzugee: Na wa o, this one wey be say all ur friends, family and Acquaintances nah criminals and fraudsters. . . . hmmmm, sha u sef confess say u be ogbologbo olodu, so I guess no shaking. Abi? |
Can someone please tell Kobojunkie to STFU! Its not against the law to refrain from typing! That said, I support Eku-bear and Dede1's positions, Nigerian Governors are too draconian to become "over-lords" of an impending state police. Something's gotta be put in place to assure some sorta checks and balances and to make sure that abuse of the security apparatus is checked. |
@Blacksta:Lol. Ol boi, leave the gal now, |
Dunno. Probably just chill with family out here! |
