Ok! Thank you. I’m just asking for the couple because they don’t want to be on post study route at the same time.
hosey:

Yes he can. Before COVID, it was impossible.

Follow the rule below:

https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/switch-to-this-visa

Switch to this visa
You may be able to switch to a Student visa if you already have permission to be in the UK.

You cannot switch to this visa if you have one of the following visas:

a visit visa
a short-term student visa
a Parent of a Child Student visa
a seasonal worker visa
a domestic worker in a private household visa
leave outside the immigration rules
If you have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, you do not need to apply for a visa.

Eligibility
To switch to a Student visa you must:

be in the UK
have an unconditional offer of a place on a course with a licensed student sponsor - shown by your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
If you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for less than 12 months, you’ll need to prove you have enough money to support yourself in the UK.

Apply to switch your dependants’ visas at the same time as you switch your own visa. If you cannot apply at the same time, your partner or child can switch their visas at a later date - this must be before their current visa expires.

Thanks! But the dependent visa would expire in Jan 2022. Is it possible for him to switch to student visa before it expired to start MSc in Jan 2022 without leaving the UK
hosey:

A person with Tier 4 dependant visa can study full time. The person can work full time also. Tier 4 dependant visa is very good. The person can even switch to Tier 2 visa if they see suitable sponsor.

You don't need to apply for student visa.

Good afternoon!

Please I want to ask if it is possible for a Tier 4 dependent to switch to Student Visa for MSc without leaving the UK. If YES, is he/she going to show home office only maintenance fund or maintenance fund with tuition balance after making deposit, assuming the dependent has been in the UK for less than 12 months...

No worries! I can connect your sister with my apartment agent in Aberdeen when it is time.

NubianQueen87:
Hi everyone!

My sister got a conditional offer of admission to Robert Gordon University, September start date.

She has to pay the deposit before she can be issued an unconditional offer letter, with which she can apply for study visa. I have a few questions:

1)Will she be required to show her proof of funds at the POE, or is the bank statement provided during application going to suffice as proof?
2) We have been looking up student accommodations and wondering if we can get cheaper accommodation around school campus?
3) She is required to do a medical exam and biometrics. Can she do them in advance, or will she have to wait until asked to do so after she submits her application for study visa?

Thank you so much in anticipation of your responses.

PLEASE HELP! I am trying to fill PBS Partner visa for my wife as dependent to join me in the UK whilst I study.

Under the main applicant relationship evidence....

Have you previously provided evidence of your marriage or civil relationship to main applicant in a successful applicant as dependent.

Is it going to be YES or NO

Please I want to ask if I still need to print a new statement of account. I already printed one on July 29 (Jul 01 to Jul 29 )which I used to get my CAS from school. I submitted my visa application on August 12 and I was able to get August 26 self service for my interview. I have uploaded all my supporting docs including my statement of account and I submitted it. I just want to know if I need to go with a new statement of account on Wednesday 26 of August.

Well I received BVL today after I went to do upfront medicals last week when I noticed my medical results is being reviewed without medicals when I applied. Instead of the medical results submitted to be updated to passed but it changed to I did not need medicals after the BVL dropped. Well I’m still waiting for the final decision. Nairobi guys are not smiling at all.

@ Frankrobbn,Naijaforeigner,Justmellow,Austacus, Mcobex, Makano, Obehi... Please what next! I noticed my medical results has been under review since last week Friday which I did not submit my application with upfront medicals. So I was advised to go for upfront medicals and I got all the tests including X-ray done today. My application will just be 3 weeks on Saturday.

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Jaylap: 5:26pm On Sep 28, 2019
Thank you. But I am thinking maybe I should wait for couple of days to see if medical request mail will drop before I go for the medical exam.

Obehi44:
Oh okay... This seems like a good sign. I say this because it did happen to a few here and one or two of them went ahead to do medicals and they got approved.
First check your email and be sure there was no email notification from them.

Read this loud, GO AND DO MEDICAL AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Upload the slip, pray harder and have faith and believe.

I am already happy for you. God bless do it for this fellow.
Goodluck

I applied 2 weeks ago
I didn’t do upfront medical
Nope I just went straight to check my online account for updates

Obehi44:

When did you apply?
Did you do upfront medical?
Did you get an email notification from donotreply? Or you just went straight to check your online account?
Answer these questions and peeps can help you guess what this means.

I am not married yet and I am using my parents as sponsor. I want to know if I can reapply as common law or single as my relationship status because I am planning on getting married next year
Qudkom:

Do you in ten to use your husband as a sponsor? If yes that will improve your home ties, financial strength and better convince the VO that you'll return home. Good luck

Good evening! I need your advise. I am planning to reapply for my study permit next month. I am planning on getting married next year. So I want to ask if I can reapply as Common Law or I should just stick to Single that I have mentioned in my previous application that was refused. Thanks
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Jaylap: 10:57pm On Aug 01, 2019
Ok thanks! I will work on it.
Frankrobbn1:

You shouldn't only rely on the study leave approval letter. A good and very persuasive SOP would help your case. In your SOP/LOE you're expected to explain in detail the lucrativeness, reasonableness, and career benefits of the program upon your return to Nigeria whether it's financially rewarding that can offest the cost and investment made in the program in Canada. The range of career options available for you and the high employment prospects as well as the huge demand for professionals in your career field etc...

Please apart from study leave letter from my current employer, what else can I use to tackle this refusal? Thank you all.

Please is it going to be stated in Introduciton letter or another letter from my employer to let them know there is a space for me when I come back. Thanks
jessyeve:
The study leave approval is ok but try to gt ur employer to say there's space for u when you come back and possibly a promotion, that will work I guess.
