If govt should happily allow biafra, oduduwa & northern region decide to form their country, u think there would have been any Nigeria by now? A region should have cogent reasons for wanting secession, u don't just wake up one morning to say u want a country. If not, every family would have been a country by now.

Do you know that in the heat of the civil war, Ojukwu was offered full control of the SE region under Nigeria as accounted by Chinua Achebe? That part of the book was written with an undertone of regret! I was furious when I read it.
