It is clear that if you want survive in nigeria as a minority, you must align with a major ethnic group to survive, else you'll die silently in the Big dog-eat-small dog fulani-ruled jungle called nigeria and you'll go into extinction.

The Idoma have aligned with the East against fulanis, the other sons of ND are aligning with the East so the world can hear them. In the south nobody trust yorubas because of yoruba muslims!
Who are Yoruba Muslims? tell me more about my tribe.

Shaaaa. ... That's just a port with a white man's name because they used that route....my city was not planned by whites.....just few buildings and the rest by blacks(we) but Lagos was solely built by Britons
Portharcourt was a farmland, aqcuired by the British who built a Port and a port town specifically for the export of coal from Enugu to Europe. Luggard named the town after Lewis Vernon Harcourt a British Liberal Party
politician who held the Cabinet post of Secretary of
State for the Colonies from 1910 to 1915.
Lagos was a thriving port town before the British came.

TomLepskie:
I hope the refineries won't be sited in the far North where they ll rely on a thousand kilometer pipeline to get crude oil supply, this is a welcome development, better than the conventional refineries.
Even if the refineries dey Jericho, what is paramount is adequate steady supply. If an Ngwa man has the resources to cite his refinery in his hometown Aba, and he has all necessary approvals, no one should stop him from operating.

I remembered what one of my friends (oyin) told me some years back, "if Nigeria begin import pepper, na Yoruba people chop our pepper finish" We yorubas can eat pepper for the world.

nwaanambra1:
like first bank like every other bank in Nigeria - they only invest where the profit will be astronomical without stress.

they all refused to invest in the youths - they all failed to encourage entrepreneurship. People with great ideas that will amount to great profits in future where denied loans. they where all interested in giving loans to mighty companies with or without insurance.

The day of reckoning is here for all the financial institutions. like the President said during inauguration - in his government, you reap what you sow, its time for hard-work to be appreciated.

First bank and the rest of them can still retrace their steps before its too late for them.
True, you spoke objectively. In their pursuit of cheap quick profits, they neglected and frustrated genuine entrepreneurship drives with long term growth potentials and steady profits. Now no free cheap petro-money anywhere anymore.

Fulani leader explains why herdsmen attacked Enugu
15:08 06/05/2016

Abuja - The leader of the Fulani community in the
South- East Ardo Saidu Baso, has revealed the reasons
Fulani herdsmen attacked and killed scores of Ukpabi-
Nimbo people of Enugu State last week, New Telegraph
reports.
Baso, who is also the deputy leader of Miyetti Allah
Cattle Breeders’ Association, South East chapter, said
that four Fulani people were killed around Ukpabi-
Nimbo in December last year and less than a week later,
two boys from one Fulani parents based in Nasarawa
State were equally killed.
The father of the deceased, saddened by the news of their
death, visited Uzo-Uwani to find out what happened,
only for him to also be killed according to the Fulani
leader.

Ardo stated that he got intelligence about the impending
attack on Nimbo and that he informed the local
government chairman, the governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi,
the state commissioner of police and the Area
Commander of police at Nsukka about it.
The Fulani leader said that he even embarked on a
journey to Nasarawa at the prompting of Uzo- Uwani
Local Government Area Chairman, Cornel Onwubuya,
to forestall the attack and possibly invite the families of
the deceased for a dialogue.
He stated that on reaching Otukpo in Benue State, he
learnt that the Fulani people from Nasarawa State had
already camped at the bush in Amaeke Nsukka
preparatory for the attack and that he aborted his
journey and rushed back to inform the council boss.
He expressed surprise that despite all his efforts to
forestall the attack, nothing was done to prevent it by
the relevant authorities.

We Africans were the ones that sold ourselves into slavery. Before the coming of the white men, there was slavery and slave raids among Africans. Greed and Avarice, Cheating and Selfishness, Gluttony, and struggle for resource control are the underlining factors of the various conflicts and civil wars that has raged and still being raged by Africans against Africans even till this day.
