It's day 3 and all 10 pups are doing well. Milking sessions are going on normally every 2...3 hours. Dam is gradually getting to normal eating portions but in bits and drinking a lot of water. I am also pleasantly surprised at how she's taken on the mother responsibilities quite fluidly. We have also been very supportive in providing meals, time out to ease itself and just allow run around time in compound... she's off in a minute though to go check on the pups and prefers to stay in the liter pen.

Kindly shed more light on the milking sessions.

In my area, this problem has been on for months now. it goes off for a week and I can't call nor browse then comes back strong for about 2 weeks and goes off again.

I thought it was temporary but I was so wrong. it's now a way of life.

I usually subscribe to MTN during the downtime.

Yes it can. Its actually NGN400 per strip. But you can only use a strip once, so you might need about 10 or more or even less, depending on when she ovulates.
You could as well get the microscopic ovulation detector too, not a strip and can be used for every bitch

An ovulation detector/ test strip could help determine date of ovulation. Quite easy to use. .
Talk about signs, it's an internal ish, however, in some females, you see them flagging their tails, but nothing is cast in stone.

Can this strip be gotten from the average vet shops? and what's the cost please?

Actually depends on the males and females. Some males might loose interest after a few times, females also in most cases might revoke the male. And also many of the matings might not even make any meaning if the female hasn't ovulated.
So if you're wanting to mate them daily to increase chances of taking in, simply get an ovulation test strip, it'll allow you know when she ovulates, and then even if you do one mating, she'll take in still.

We will skip 1 heat that is the first if it comes before she turns 2. If it comes after she turns 2, we will not skip. Her mama came on her first heat at over 2 years.

We will still keep her. meanwhile isis will not be ready for another 2 years and ira expires after 7years. But we will keep her till the end.

More! @ 3 months. her diet has changed now since the Arion finished and I could not get readily to buy. I got bingo which thankfully she liked it but her poo was terrible. It was black, not firm and stank. I initially thought she was ill and was worried sick.

I later figured the poop was that nature as a result of the bingo.

She is doing fine and full of energy. I gave up training her because it was really hard. But potty training worked thankfully.
