it could be his network but also note that when u set destination on taxify, u will be invisible on riders app. You can only be visible to a rider that is going your way.

This is not tenable. Why? Because you've not even entered your destination on the rider app to see drivers around your GPS location. Its when u click to request a ride the app asks for destination ke. So how does it know those going in a particular direction before request?

Good afternoon. Please concerning the Proof of Financial Capacity, can I use my Dad's account?
Like a bank statement of the account?

NO, it will must likely be a red flag for your case. It's not a student visa but permanent residence/skilled migrant. I believe your SOA should be personal

2. Also can properties like shares, cars and houses be valued?

Yes, these are all valuable and states like TASMANIA haa a section of financial declaration where all these can be presented.

3. Some regions require like 2 years experience or more. But I did not assess my work experience with Engineers Australia. How can I show proof of employment?
Will payslips, letter of verification, appointment letters and maybe bank statements be enough?

Despite not assessing your experience with EA I suppose all of the listed documents would be sufficient as proof to the state's case officer. Assessing with EA would have made it more straight forward as your supposed year would have been stated on the outcome letter.

Has anyone used d set destination on Taxify and it works. People said it doesn't work

When normal trips take forever to beep, I wonder how long it will take to see trip going your way. You'd have to be very lucky. As such, it will appear like not working ni

Good evening fellow business men. I need advise on this issue. Before now I was my own partner. But after a month,my car developed issue. I could not raise cash to fix it, then i decided to seek another partner.
I got one eventually and changed partner as expected.. After two weeks with this new partner, the car was retrieved for personal use. By this time my car was back and running. I picked it up last week and began work immediately since I still have it on my platform.
But till now I am yet to be paid by uber for last weeks work. I really don't know what's happening. I mailed uber and was told that my partner should contact them. Please house advise me on on how to go about this cos uber is holding to 12,000 naira. Has anyone ever been in such situation? Please advise me. Thanks

Uber not holding on to your money. Call your partner, they have credited him. So far you're are paired to the partner any money you make whether with a car on his platform or the one you added yourself; the weekly direct deposit would go to the partner's bank account. Make him do the needful send your bar

taxify do me strong thing today... but I need to ask if it has happened to anyone here before or it my phone.. I picked up a ride at Ketu she was going to ajah.. we spent about 3-4hrs I Neva switched of my phone nor tamper with it except for playing music on it... finally I ended the trip and to my greatest surprise it was 1700 the app calculated 155mins trip

I have also warned to keep calculating your fares intermittently on taxify when on a trip. Say every 3km or so, at least you're sure 200 should have added. If not inform your rider app has hung and do the needful. Offline or restart waka

Yes well said,
was speaking with one today, was asking him how many cars he has driven on the platform, he mentioned 6 shocked shocked shocked shocked. Why do you keep changing cars bro, haven't u seen a good deal n awesome car, he was beating around the bush, to me his just a bad driver, a good driver should fall in love with the car his driving thereby maintaining it to standard.

Spot ON

My first car was a dead
one, I managed for 2 months ( with a stupid agreement at the moment), 2nd car was driven for 6months before sell off. Fell for another dead car based on familiarity with owner, in 4weeks I backed out. Entering month 4 with current one, and can drive this one "forever" if allowed.

Bros I have never seen anyone buy a naija used car and "really" enjoyed it.

I might be wrong with the newer cars especially those "island used" ones, but the older ones that has seen three or more years on our roads just ain’t worth it in my opinion.

I might be wrong but it is usually safer to save a bit more and a toks and give it to a "good driver" who has a good maintenance culture. That way, you still have 2-3 years of cha cha life on it.

Here lies the problem, what is the assurance that the driver will be one that would maintain the standard of the toks? Driver could turn toks into dead in 2months oh

I think the problem is that Taxify counts 30 sec to the first person the request goes to, once the person misses it maybe by network or whatever reason it goes to the next person by 20 secs, then next 10 secs then 5secs, the unlucky person is the person getting it on 1 secs. That's the only explanation I can come up with

Missed an important request, I accepted it loads and say client cancelled, till now no other requesr.

This your analogy is low in probability. I doubt 3 different drivers will miss a single request in a row. The culprit is bad network, I notice my network not being strong when this happens
Business / Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by jayooh: 2:38pm On Aug 15, 2018

i agree.
One night they sent me a 3 sec request, while i was completing a trip. I still managed to accept it. The next thing i saw was 'error'.
I later checked history and they changed it to driver did not respond.
Dat would have been my 4th trip of 5 to chop their 1750 bonus.
They now dropped my activity for that campaign to 75%
Got the 4th one in d same estate. Activity rose to 80%
And i still had like 1hr30min to catch d last one. But i knew it wont get past 85% afterwards.
I just logged off, open uber drove to KPMG to get a trip that took me to mainland. 2km to my bed.
Yeye taxify

Next time just find a way of getting 4 or 5new request to cancel. Client cancelled, rider did not show, what have you. I won't dash them the 1750 just because of activity unless it's on 50%

Your car looks sharp but those figures do not sound too encouraging for someone on rentals.

Or are they after commissions have been deducted?

If only you would make those figures churned out, you would survive rental. But sadly, you won't make those with a camry; it's a trap.

Camry muscle is not really that fuel consuming. I use average 2k fuel to do 8-10k on daily basis, 4K fuel to do 17-20k on a good day. The way people come here to exaggerate how fuel consuming Camry is baffles me a lot. It’s very close to Corolla. It’s just d tank is bigger
Bro unless u are lucky to get surge trips the best u can get on camry for 2k fuel is 8k. When corolla sef is raking in 10k. That car is 2.4litres for a reason. It's almost 1.5x heavier than the corolla.

Why are u looking at fuel consuming cars? Any reason in particular? The civic is the only one with considerable fuel economy. In this time and period where you have to roam and reposition before getting trip, you might wanna rethink the fuel economy of preferred vehicles. Heads up

Taxify request is solely by proximity, how you position matters

I would love to believe this, very highly probable but I walked into the mall sef. People at the car lot and entrance gate got request. Went offline and came back online severally to ensure my car was visible. Ecentually I left after about 3hours without any request. While over 10 cars came and left with riders.

NT https://www.australiasnorthernterritory.com.au/migrate/migrate-to-work/northern-territory-government-visa-nomination/skilled-nominated-visas
If you are not an NT resident or NT graduate
You must also provide:

evidence of your financial capacity to settle in the NT including net assets
information about any support networks you have in the NT, as these may be considered.
The table below gives you detail on the assets you need and the summary you have to provide.

Family composition Minimum value of net assets
Individual applicant AU$35 000
Applicant and spouse AU$50 000
Applicant and spouse plus one child AU$60 000
Applicant and spouse plus two children AU$65 000
You must provide a list of all your financial assets in Australian dollars. You must provide evidence of those assets. For example, clear colour copies of bank statements, share certificates, property valuations and jewellery evaluations.

Tasmania also states this
access to sufficient financial assets to fund your migration and settlement in Tasmania while you seek employment.
So I guess it's safe to conclude that TAS does not really require proof of funds

No POF information on NSW website.

Yes no proof of asset in the case of Tasmania. But they have a minimum threshold for asset declared. You will fill a declaration for and a caveat that you could be called upon to supply evidences if need be (but never really heard of anyone one that has been asked for this).

Tip your total declaration should be fairly above that stipulated by NT to avoid stories that touch.
