In a bid to cut cost of governance, The President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, may reduce the number of ministers, especially the ministers of state. The cost-saving proposal was presented to the All Progressives Congress’s National Working Committee at a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday by Buhari. The proposal is still being deliberated on. The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Mohammed, however dismissed the question, when asked to comment on the proposals made by Buhari on streamlining the ministries and parastatals.
