Romance / SEDUCTION TIPS: 3 Things To Do If She Comes Over And Refuses To Have Sex by jchima14: 4:54pm On Mar 09, 2016
It can be pretty frustrating if you invite a lady over with the intention of finally getting down and she refuses to give you what you want. Knowing how to handle it will make a very big difference.

1. Don't push it:
You might be tempted to beg, negotiate or sulk, but this will only push her further away and make you seem pathetic. Plus, it will instantly turn her off. There is nothing arousing about being pressured for sex. If she says no, let it be, simply pretend it does not bother you and don't bring it up for a while. She will be taken aback and begin to immediately question whether or not she will give it to you, which is what you want.

2. Get her to relax:
The thing is, most women expect that visiting a guy means he will ask for sex. This causes her to put her guard up. Even if she is willing to give it to you, she would still want you to work for it. So, what you need to do is get her to bring down her guard by getting her to relax. If you ask and she says no, focus on other ways to make her feel comfortable with you. Watch a comedy, play some games, whatever makes her laugh and let go. It is only when she feels truly comfortable that she will consider having sex with you.

3. Make you move:
Now she is relaxed, comfortable and laughing with you, this is when you make your move. Flirt with her by bringing sex into the convo. Start with something random but not too threatening like, 'Damn, if I ever get hold of that sexy ass of yours, I will take you to heaven and back.' In one statement, you have complimented her and made her think about sex with you. If you have followed steps 1 and 2 above, by now she will be having an inner conflict whether or not to let you have some. But once again, don't push. Flirt with her and compliment her. If she giggles or return the flirting, slowly move towards her and give her a soft kiss. Let her lead the way so she feels like she has all the power. At this point, make sure she tells you with her words or her body that she is ready to take things to the next level.

Warning: These tips will only work if she is attracted to you in the first place but unsure if she wants to sleep with you. If she insists she is not interested in sex after cajoling and flirting with her, respect her decisions. There is absolutely nothing sexy or manly about rape or coercive sex.

As a few of his predictions seem to have come to pass, President of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has urged Nigerians to pray ceaselessly.

He made the call as President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration recorded the death of Minister of State for Labour, Barrister James Ocholi, demise of some Nollywood stars in the last few weeks, killings in Benue as well as Saudi Arabia and Iran cold war.

“He will speak to the public soon but for now, his condolence on Mr. James Ocholi’s death goes to the federal government, the people of Kogi, his friends, family, staff and others touched by the unfortunate incident,” Hamsat said.

Politics / I Spent Two Days With Terrorists – Obasanjo by jchima14: 9:30pm On Mar 05, 2016
Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo, who turns 79 on March 5, has revealed how he spent two days with some members of Taliban sect.

Former president stated that seeking the best solution to the issue of world insecurity forced him to do this.

Obasanjo was speaking at the 2016 national summit and 4th international colloquium organised by the Centre for Human Security at the sidelines of his birthday programme.

The politician lamented the spread of the insurgency saying that the situation would have been under control if religious leaders had not failed in their responsibility of instilling the right values into their followers.

He said: “I went to Syria when I was president of Nigeria. One of the places I was taken to was a refugee camp where those refugees have been since 1948, nothing has been done to them. How do you want their children to think? “In Norway, I met some members of the Taliban. We spent two days together. They are in the second echelon of the leadership, I was told the top ones will not come out and when we listened to them, we are bound to say yes, they can get something better than they were getting. “If we do not get it right from home, we have started losing the battle. Communalism is going down the drain. There is popular saying that four eyes brought a child to the world and 200 eyes nurtured the child. But where are the 200 eyes of the community? “We do everything with impunity. We have been dealing with issues beyond us. We ought to prevent it. Prevention is even cheaper than cure. Can we prevent? Can prevention be part or best of our solution? We can also see where things are going down. We have home or houses, what happened at home? What do we teach? Moral training starts from home. Home is very important, but parents do many wrongs.”

Obasanjo urged the global community to enable fairness in the fight against insurgency, adding that is only way to uphold peace.

The Taliban is an Islamic fundamentalist political movement in Afghanistan currently waging war (an insurgency, or jihad) within that country.

Nigeria is currently suffering from the Boko Haram terrorists, who despite being technically defeated remain active.

More than nine months after inauguration of Buhari’s government Nigeria as the giant of Africa still does not have a focused foreign policy agenda.

2. Aisha Alhassan – Minister of Women Affairs

“Mama Taraba”, as many called her after the governorship poll in her state, was reported to have told the grieving Chibok parents that the girls were not abducted under the current government. Mrs. Alhassan is also yet to address the case of the abduction of the 14 year-old Ese Oruru from Bayelsa state. The girl was converted to Islam and force to marry a man from Kano.

As a minister of women affairs, many Nigerians had expected that she would have been at the fore front of the Chibok agenda.

3. Kayode Fayemi – Minister of Solid Minerals

The ex-governor of Ekiti state surprised many when he was assigned his portfolio as he was reported to have said that he would need time to learn in his ministry.

More than 3 months after Fayemi received his post the former governor is yet to persuade Nigerians that he is the right man for the job.

4. Lai Mohammed – Minister of Information and Culture

Lai Mohammed seems to refuse to move on from the days of political campaigns. Many Nigerians see his public statements as dent the public image of the Buhari government. The minister speaks on every issue, even though he does not have the right information, he would always speak.

Mr.Mohammed has continued to blame the previous administration for all the failures. Many believe the former spokesmanof the APC would be more productive if he returns as the spokesperson of his party.

5. Adebayo Shittu – Minister of Communications

The role of the ministry in the out-of-court settlement by MTN Nigeria, and its payment of N50 billion to the Buhari’s government still remains unaddressed. The telecommunications regulatory organ, the Nigeria Communications Commission has been shielded away from the settlement process.

President Buhari had on November, 11, 2015 assigned portfolios to 36 ministers who are expected to implement his ‘change’ agenda. Presiding at the swearing in ceremony of the new ministers, the president said that the assigning of portfolios was done to put square pegs in square holes, adding that members of his team were carefully chosen and assigned portfolios to reflect their capacities.

Webmasters / Your Business Website May Be Hurting Your Company... Find Out How by jchima14: 12:22pm On Mar 03, 2016
With today's mad rush by every company to get a business website, it is wise to advise companies about the fact that creating a website for your business may be essentially damaging your company's reputation.

Why? How? You may ask

Did you know that if your business website is dormant, visitors (that is if you even have any visitors at all) may erroneously believe that your company must have become dormant as well. Maybe that is why the last update on your business' official website is 1 and half years old. Trust me nothing could present you as being unserious with your business as this. Especially if your company is the type that requires frequent update like schools, hotels, religious organizations (like churches), etc.

For example, if you retail clothing and accessories, how do you explain to your potential customers online that the exact products displayed in your online business website 1 year ago are still the same products that are still in your store today. Don't you think it would be safe to assume that you are no longer in business?

Or how would you expect me to believe you are still in business when I send you an email via the address on your business website and I get no response from your company after 1 month. This is very common with Nigerian company websites.

What most companies do not understand is that the internet is a very dynamic world and it is either you change and adapt or you die and get forgotten.

In conclusion, I would like to advise companies that if they must own a website for business, they must be willing to establish a department for managing their online presence or simply outsource that service to a professional web and social media management consultant.

Webmasters / Type Of Website Package Suitable For Small And Medium Scale Businesses by jchima14: 10:44am On Mar 02, 2016
There are basically two types of website packages available that a web designer can offer to a business owner or organization. These are dynamic website package and Static website package. Every other type of website e.g. Content management websites, ecommerce websites, HTML/Flash websites etc. falls under one of these two website packages.

Dynamic Website Package:
This website package is ideal for small and medium scale businesses because, it is easy to control without any programming knowledge. Thus it gives you absolute control over your website and the maintenance of the content therein. This is even more so because businesses are dynamic and ever changing week after week, thus it is important that you as a business owner should be able to edit and control your own website as you wish. Do not forget, your webmaster may be sick, out of the country or simply too busy for you when you need a major change to be effected on your website. This therefore makes dynamic website package a far better offer to select.

Static Website Package:
Static websites have their own uses especially if you require just a simple website. Also if your business does not require any serious update frequently. This is, however, ideal for individuals who just want to have a presence online and some businesses also who may want an online presence but are cash-strapped at the moment. This is because HTML based static websites are always cheaper to design.

Finally, before you decide to go for dynamic website package for your business, you have to be sure you can manage and update it regularly. Alternatively, that you are willing to hire or outsource the website maintenance to a professional web and social media management company. Else, having a dynamic website will confer no reasonably viable advantage over a static website despite being costlier.

Webmasters / Step-by-step Guide On How To Create A Website For Free In 10 Minutes by jchima14: 9:00am On Mar 01, 2016
Being able to create a website for free is the dream of every small business on a really tight budget. However, it may seem like a daunting task if you don’t have prior knowledge of HTML (that is the web programming language used to create web pages). But don’t worry; you won’t even need to have any prior programming knowledge to be able to build your own site from scratch – and for free.

In this article, I’m going to teach you how to build your own website without spending a dime. Well, to make your website appear a bit more professional, you may have to purchase a unique domain name such as (www.yourcompanyname.com).

So let’s go straight to the tutorial.

Buy a domain name (skip this step if you really want to have a website for free without spending a dime):

After buying the domain name, you will have to head over straight to www.. The entire process is just in about five simple steps. It will take you maximum of 30 minutes since it is your first website. But for an experienced person like myself, I can design a wordpress website in just 10 minutes, yes it’s that simple.

Step 1

While on the wordpress platform, you can choose to create a “business website” OR “a blog” depending on what you want – for the purpose of this tutorial, select CREAT WEBSITE

free web1

Then select the category of industry your business website will be. I selected BUSINESS & SERVICES and then TECHNOLOGY & COMPUTING

Step 2

Pick A Template:

Here you will have to select a suitable template from hundreds of themes available.

create website with wordpress

Step 3

Select the domain name for your website. Here you have the option of choosing a domain name which will take the format

yourcompanyname. (100% FREE)

OR

Yourcompanyname.com (PAID - $18/yr i.e. about N5,000) – this is the only money you will spend.

website design free with wordpress

However, if you are using this website for a business, I would strongly advise you go for a paid unique domain name instead of the free one. This shows a higher level of professionalism and seriousness on your part.

If you previously own a domain name, you can link it to the wordpress plat from for just $13.

Step 4

Then enter your desired domain name. If the name is available, you will be able to claim it by clicking SELECT. If not, you would have to select another name. For this tutorial I’m going to select

webdesignnigeria. (FREE and AVAILABLE)

wordpress website design free

Step 5

Afterwards, select the free version and then you will be redirected to where you can enter your EMAIL ADDRESS, SELECT A USERNAME, PASSWORD and CREATE ACCOUNT

Voila!

You just created a website for free using wordpress.

Finally, you will then customize the website as it will be totally blank at this point. Create your new pages, Add menu items, etc. In my next article, I will be explaining how to customize a wordpress template to suite any type of website.

Now you can try the steps outlined above and get your first website online today.

Webmasters / 5 Important Things To Check Before Hiring A Web Designer by jchima14: 11:26am On Feb 29, 2016
If you want to hire a web designer, it is important that you look out for some specific highly important tips which I’m about to reveal to you in this article. These 5 tips are so essential that if ignored, might result in you wasting your money and time because you will definitely hire the wrong company. The result is that you will be compelled to pay yet another web designer to redesign the entire website for you.

So we will dive straight into exposing those things that actually separate the good, the bad and the downright ugly web developers in the industry.

1. Your Web Designer Should Be A Real Business

This is important because when you deal with a single individual say your neighbour’s 16-year-old son, that guy you met in the church or the one your friend introduced you to the other day, you are dangerously putting the future of your business at risk. How? You may ask.

What happens when he/she is not reachable and you urgently need to update information on your site for a client to review? Or when your site goes down and you need it right up ASAP because your potential business partner wants to take a look at your website? I think the answer is obvious.

This is why it is important that you deal with a real business so that even if the web designer attached to you is not available, they will quickly reassign you someone else to work on your site in case of an emergency. The web design company need not be a very big one. It just needs to have a structure in place and the organization that comes with a business

Another important point is that dealing with a business helps you to make specific requests with regards to the features you need and be firm in your negotiation. You are dealing with professionals so the entire project will be handled in a very professional manner.

2. The Web Designer Must Have A Website

This point I believe is a no brainer! The first thing you should checkout before hiring a web development company is the quality of their own business website.

If the site is shabbily designed, you will certainly get the same quality of work. If there are a lot of errors like 404 errors, dead links, non-functional features, poor web graphics etc, then you know your own website is going to look exactly the same. The web design agency cannot offer you what it can’t offer itself. However, if on the other hand, the website is a top-notch world class design and excellent in functionality, then feel at home. You are at the right place.

3. Quality of Customer Service

This is by far the most important factor you should put into consideration before you even make any financial commitment with the web developer. How do they respond to your inquiries? Are they hasty about it or do they take their time to address your concerns and answer your questions. Are they easily reachable 24/7? What is the most effective way of reaching them - Is it by phone, email or live chat? Me personally I prefer a web designer that is always online for a live chat. This is because, if there is any form of emergency with your website, you will get instant response from the web design team. Also hire only web design agencies that respond to email enquiries within 6 hours. Anything less than that is not acceptable! My major concern with phone conversations is that there is no guarantee that the person you are talking to is online at that moment or will be online on a regular basis.

Also how they follow up on a client after completing the web design project is yet another important factor. You certainly don’t want to deal with a developer who only contacts you once a year when your web hosting is about to expire. Some are even so bad and careless that your website will expire and they won’t even inform you about it.

4. Web Design Portfolio

“Let me see a website you have designed before” This should be the first thing you ask a web designer when you meet one. You don’t want to patronize a rookie in the business of web design that will use your website to learn. This is not to disparage the skill of people who are still fresh in the industry. But you should understand that we are talking about quality web designers here. A good web design firm should have no less than 20 projects in its portfolio. And these completed projects should be publicly listed on their website. Or at least they should be able to prove that they actually did the work. One easy way to find out who designed a website is to look at the site’s footer. This is where you will see something like “website design by XYZ Technologies”.

5. Web Design Price

I intentionally left this to be the last factor to consider in this article. And when you want to hire a web design company, it should also be the last thing you discuss. If you make it the first, as most people do, you will likely end up with a very poor choice. Why? In my 7 years experience as a web developer, one thing I have found out is that you get the quality of job you pay for – this is like a general rule. Cheap web designers always ask for cheap price and deliver cheap jobs. The important thing you should know is that price of any web development project is generally determined by 2 things:

The type of website you request for: The cost of putting up a dynamic website is always higher than static html site. And if it designed with a content management system, the price goes even higher. The costliest websites are usually ecommerce sites. So you should have this at the back of your mind when approaching a web designer.
Number of features that you request for: You should know that the more features a website has, the more likely it will be costlier. For example, if you request for a bespoke design for your website, be sure that the price of such project will be a lot higher than when the web designer uses a template to do the job for you. Generally, if you don’t have any specific reason why you need a unique design, it is always better to stick with templates - it is cheaper and your designer can tweak it in any way you desire such that it may even appear unique.
In conclusion, before you hire any web designer or web development company, ensure that it is a real business with established structure – It doesn’t necessarily need to be a large company with 100 designers on its payroll. Also that the company has its own functional website, offer quality customer care service, and has a good portfolio of completed website design projects. Don’t also forget that when it comes to web design what you pay for is what you get.

Crime / Father Of Two Commits Suicide In Lagos [PHOTO] by jchima14: 9:50am On Feb 21, 2016
A vulcaniser and father of two children, Mr Fatai Sulaimon, yesterday reportedly committed suicide for yet-to-be-ascertained reasons. It was gathered that Sulaimon, who lived at No 26, Olorunda Street, Ijaiye Bus Stop, Lagos, with his wife and children, had reportedly left his wife’s side at the early hours of Saturday to take his own life by hanging himself after he had reportedly gagged himself with a cloth.

It was further gatherd that the deceased owned two motorcycles, with those close to him ruling out financial incapacitation as a reason for taking his life. Contacted, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmos said, the case had not be reported to the police.

Webmasters / How To Identify A Good Web Design Company In Nigeria by jchima14: 8:50am On Feb 21, 2016
Are you looking for a reliable web design company in Nigeria to design a website for your business or organization?

This is something that requires a lot of dedicated effort and commitment.

Unfortunately most business owners do not see it that way.

The result?

They end up redesigning the company website over and over again. After a while they conclude that web design companies in Nigeria or simply web designers generally are not reliable.

However, this is not necessarily so. Agreed, there are so many bad eggs and incompetent folks parading themselves as web designers or some can even go to the extent of calling themselves a web design company.

It is important to note that due diligent search will help you identify the truly professional ones and sieve them out from the rest.

So here are a few tips that will aid you in identifying a great website design company;

Web design Portfolio
Do they have a track record of past projects? If they do, ask for the evidence.

To confirm that the websites were actually built by the web design company, check the footer of the websites they say they created for a mention of their name e.g. "web design by Bleep Web Design Company". Almost every web designer I know adds this footer.

Web design Pricing
If a web designer charges ridiculously low like NGN20,000 or so, please run, else you will end up with a substandard website.

This is not to advocate for higher prices for web designers, but to inform you that any web design company that really wants to offer you quality service will not accept such fee because it may not even be enough to buy a good and dependable hosting space and domain name, not to talk of service charges.

Ignore this advice at your own peril!!!

Level of Web design knowledge
Are they just web designers or web developers/programmers?

Ask if the web design company have competent staff with knowledge of web programming which is different from web design.

It is always better to patronize web developers with knowledge of PHP or ASPX programming language.

This is because they have a more in-depth knowledge and this will help them bring your ideas to life on the web no matter how crazy they are.

But a designer with mere HTML knowledge would not be able to do that.

Search engine optimization (SEO)
Does the web design company have staff with good knowledge of search engine optimization?

Don't forget the aim of every business person is to have his website seen and indexed by Google.

What is the use of having a website that no one visits?

Through your conversation with them, you will easily know this. If they don't even mention about basic onsite SEO for your website, do not patronize them, simple!

Experience
Only patronize web design companies in Nigeria with enough experience.

This helps you avoid having your website designed by amateurs who will only end up using your website as a learning experience and of course, it will always come out amateur looking.

In conclusion, follow these simple advices above and you will be able to differentiate the amateur road-side web designers from really competent professional web design companies in Nigeria
