I always found Oyedepo’s messages a little over the top. Defending yourself means sometimes hurting the other party which is very unchristian-like. You do not meet force with force; rather, you put pressure on the authorities to look for a lasting solution and peace and not telling christians to pick up arms and defend themselves.

Don't get me wrong, In real life, you try to hurt me; I will hurt you bad, but there is just no place for violence in any form within christianity and a supposed "man of God" should refrain from preaching such.

I really pitied the guy back then. He spoilt it all when he accused KSB of having sexual relationship with Essence. That was what really spoilt everything. Stop fighting her perceived superiority over you, it's pointless and you would loose. You need people like her on your side as an ally (like you rightly said she's your Boss's eyes and ears) so get her close, once in a while engage her in small talk, hangout for drinks on off days and stuffs like that - just play it cool and act like you "get".
