Obasanjo tears PDP membership card in public. Why do you think he did that?

http://www.punchng.com/news/obasanjo-tears-pdp-membership-card-in-public/

Obasanjo was expecting the PDP to expel him. The president refused to do that with all his anti-party activities. Obasanjo had no option than to pull the trigger himself.

This is the best thing that has ever happened to PDP. A new PDP is being formed.

This is political suicide.

Obasanjo, the story of Jonathan, History and the Historians

By Sunshine Anifowose

Hell is the home of those who sees white and calls it green during the era of moral phenomenon, says Danthi Allegieri, a French Scholar and Motivational Speaker.

Fellow Nigerians, please permit me to tell you some lies and let me explicitly say that I am ready to bear the insults and attacks these lies might generate from readers, most especially those rooted in party ideology, norms and believes.

The lies are about the comparative character and idiosyncrasy of two Nigerian Leaders. Olusegun Obasanjo, the Owu born former Military-Maximum Dictator turned Civilian Ruler and Otueke born Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, who God currently saddles with the responsibility of distributing dividends of democracy to all Nigerians.

Obasanjo had, in the last 15 months, been going from one public fora to the other, blasting and mesmerizing the personality of President Goodluck Jonathan. Obasanjo had declared and still declaring Jonathan a grossly incompetent and an epidemically corrupt leader while Jonathan had refused to pick up the gauntlet with Obasanjo for reason(s) best known to him.

However, after critically studying the frosty relationship between the two leaders, I wish to declare without any fear of intimidation that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo should stop insulting the common sense of Nigerians with his unnecessary diatribe against President Jonathan because Obasanjo has no moral right whatsoever to be doing what he's presently doing against the incumbent administration.

For the 8 years Obasanjo ruled Nigeria, he built only one University which was for himself. Bell University, Ota, Ogun State is owned by Obasanjo. Today, Jonathan has built 12 Universities for Nigerians and the generation yet unborn. Today, no sky-rapper can be traced to Jonathan any where in Nigeria unlike an opposition leader in South West who had bought 40% of his state resources. Readers, kindly remember that Obasanjo built his library and hilltop in Abeokuta when he was in office. Jonathan, today, via the intervention of TETFUND, has built more than 30 libraries for Nigerians and generation yet unborn.

Obasanjo conducted an election in 2007 that he tagged “do or die.“ The winner of the poll, late Umoru Yar'adua, publicly confessed that it was characterised by irregularities. He fought Yar'adua, the Prince of Kastina till his death in 2010 for accepting that Obasanjo un-democratically imposed him on Nigerians. Meanwhile, in 2011, Jonathan conducted an election in which was nationally and internationally adjudged to be free, fair and credible.

Furthermore, for 8 years, Obasanjo could not do anything on Lokoja-Abuja road which he awarded without mobilising the contractor. The road is almost completed now. Gory cases of Motor accident and robbery had drastically reduced on the road.

Ore-Benin road is now a porthole free courtesy of Jonathan's transformation team. The most busiest road in West Africa sub-region, the Lagos-Ibadan express road is now under re-construction and expansion of international dimension.

Akure-Ilesa road is presently under a never-seen-before massive re-construction. Ikorodu-Sagamu road was awarded by Jonathan two weeks ago but majority of the highly comprised Nigeria news medium refused to publicize the contract award of the road. I am also pleased to inform Nigerians that the reconstruction of Ibadan-Oyo express road has been completely done. Second Niger bridge is under construction. Our Airports have been re-fixed. The rail transportation system has been fixed.

Many Nigerians had adjudged Jonathan's administration to be corrupt! I am going to react to the allegation empirically. The number one anti-corruption organisation in the world is Transparency International. In 2006, Transparency International, under the watchful eyes of Olusegun Obasanjo, rated Nigeria as the second most corrupt country in the world. In 2014, under the leadership of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Transparency International rated Nigeria as the 44th most corrupt country in the world. Now, I ask, who fights corruption more between Obasanjo and Jonathan? Fighting corruption is more than arresting ex-governors today, parade them on television tomorrow and release them next tomorrow.

In term of unemployment, I want to ask, which job did Obasanjo provide for Nigerians when he held the insignia of power? Apart from the poorly organised National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP), which job did Obasanjo gave to Nigerians? Obasanjo destroyed the Nigerian Telecommunication (NITEL), sending thousands of Nigerians into labour market. Today, NITEL in on the verge of being re-organised.

I also make bold to say that Obasanjo ruined the National Electricity Power Authority (NEPA). Today, power supply has been privatized and handed to private individuals. Transcorp Hilton, Abuja is said to be owned by Obasanjo, however, today, no establishment can be said to be owned by Jonathan. The 12 new Universities established by Jonathan has employed about 20, 000 Nigerians. YOUWIN has produced more than 1, 000 millionaires in Nigeria.

For the 8 years Obasanjo ruled Nigeria, he only recruited 1,957 Nigerians into the Federal Civil Service. Today, Jonathan's administration has recruited 4685 graduates into the Federal Civil Service. The Military, Nigeria Civil Defense, Nigeria Police, etc had employed more than 15, 000 under Jonathan's Presidency. Nigerians should note that unemployment amongst graduates was at 70% in 1984 when General Buhari was the Head of State.

Also, as I write, the Jonathan's administration has built 127 Almajiri Schools in the north, reducing illiteracy in the region in the process. More than 5000 Nigerian graduates have been sent abroad for post graduate programmes by President Jonathan.

Fellow Nigerians, most especially my fellow Yoruba youths, please I urge you to put aside your religion, ethnic and political interest and say the truth! Who has governed Nigeria better between Jonathan and Obasanjo? Those of you set to vote Buhari because his running mate, Yemi Osinbajo is a Pastor in your church should have a rethink! Those of you set to vote Buhari because he's from the north should think about ONE NIGERIA because Information from the Federal Ministry of Works has it that Jonathan has constructed more roads in the North than in the Southern Nigeria!

Obasanjo had been blasting President Jonathan over the activities of Terrorists in the North Eastern Nigeria but I wish to ask him (Obasanjo) that despite his military background whether he was able to solve the militancy problem in the Niger/Delta region when he was the President of Nigeria? Please what moral right does a former military dictator who failed woefully to confront militancy has to be blasting President Jonathan over the activities of political terrorists in the Northeastern Nigeria?

President Goodluck Goodluck is not a magician. He is the only President that has governed the nation of Nigeria in line with the rules of law. Despite the incessant attacks and insults on him in the media, he has refused to jail any Journalist, socio-commentators and bloggers. Jonathan has respected the fundamental human rights of Nigerians than any other Leader Nigeria ever had.

The Change Agents have been tested in Lagos State, what they gave us was cosmetic governance. We tested one of them in Ekiti, it ended in 16-0. A change Agent in Osun has refused to pay workers' salary for 3 months. Same in Oyo State. Edo State civil servants are the worst paid in the country. No Street Light Pole is working in the whole of River State. The National Leader of the Change Agents has bought virtually all that is gold and glitters in Lagos State.

They said PDP has ruined Nigeria, meanwhile, Obasanjo and Atiku, the Chief Navigators of the Change Agents spent 8 out of the 16 years PDP has been governing Nigeria. 26 out of the 31 Governorship Candidates of the Change Agents are former members of the PDP.

Lastly, I wish to advise Obasanjo to start talking like an Elder statesman he calls himself. George Bush would not talk to Obama the way Obasanjo has been talking to Jonathan. Thambo Mbeki would not talk to Jacob Zuma the way Obasanjo has been talking to Jonathan. Gordon Brown would not talk to David Cameroon the way Obasanjo has been talking to Jonathan. Is Obasanjo the only former President in Nigeria? Why always Obasanjo?

Nigerians, think! Think!! Think!!!

Patriotic Nigerians knows one when they see them.

A good comparison of the two Nigerian leaders.

Politics / Re: Buhari’s Bribe Tears Northern Pastors Apart by jdilight(m): 4:41pm On Feb 13, 2015
KEVIND:

Actually, we were told that Gen. Buhari wanted to have an audience with us regarding his presidential aspiration. The idea was that it was going to be an interactive session. I believe this is a sponsored endorsement. Our patrons and leaders are too noble to bring us to this embarrassing situation this way.  There was no meeting or agreement that suggests that this organisation or all leaders of Christians in the North should come and endorse Gen. Buhari or any other presidential candidate…

The altar was desecrated yesterday as some clergymen from the North tricked their unsuspecting colleagues into a meeting in Abuja to endorse All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari for the March 28 presidential election.
Signs that all was not well in the camp of the organisers started emerging at the venue of the meeting when some of the invited pastors complained that they were not told that the forum was called to endorse Buhari and his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
A group, which identified itself as Northern Christian Leaders Eagle-Eye Forum, spearheaded the meeting at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, where Buhari and Osinbajo were in attendance.
Some of the Christian leaders who openly protested the action of the patrons of the group, alleged that they were deceived into attending the meeting.
They alleged that the organisers told them that the meeting was put in place to enable the clergymen take up Buhari on some topical issues but lamented that it “turned out to be total declaration of support for Buhari.”
While some of the aggrieved pastors stormed out of the meeting, others stayed till the end.
They were however shocked when contrary to the organisers’ promise to give each participant either N50,000 or N100,000 (depending on the locations from whence they came), the funds released by a governor who bankrolled the meeting, was between N3,000 and N5,000. Some of the pastors said that the money given to them was not bribe but welfare package and insisted on collecting it.
It was learnt that the governor, whose identity was not disclosed, bankrolled the meeting with N500million.
In his address at the occasion with the theme: “Declaring Total Support for General Muhammadu Buhari,” the chairman of the Forum, Pastor Habu Aminchi, promised that his group would not only work for Buhari but would deliver 85 percent Christian votes in the North for the APC candidate.
However, some members of the group staged a walkout of the hall when Pastor Aminchi declared in the course of his speech that the Forum has endorsed Buhari for the presidential election.
The angry pastors said that they were neither involved in any meeting where such a decision was reached, nor were they informed about such a position to suggest endorsement of any presidential candidate or party in the forthcoming general elections.

Meeting initiated by Ango Abdullahi
Pastor Aminchi stated that the group used to work for the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, but that “what we are passing through today as a country made us to change our mind.”
According to him, the idea to convene the meeting came to him after Chairman of Northern Elders’ Forum, NEF, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, called him on phone and invited him for a chat.
Pastor Aminchi said that after his meeting with Prof. Abdullahi, he became convinced about the credibility of Buhari’s candidature against all the propaganda, an indication that all the negative media reports about him were all lies.
He described those who do not like the personality of Buhari as “attackers of destiny” who do not want him to succeed in his presidential bid to salvage the country from corruption, insecurity and declining economy.
Aminchi said he had since realised that all the propaganda against Buhari were false and were designed to smear his public image and make him an enemy of Christians in order to divide the political parties and the country along religious lines.
According to Pastor Aminchi, voting for Buhari means voting for Prof. Osibanjo, who is also a pastor. Buhari, according to him, is capable of restoring the country’s lost glory if he wins and reintroducing discipline and result-oriented anti-corruption campaign in the country, just like he did when he served as head of state.

The meeting is a fraud
However, several members of the Christian body alleged that Gen. Buhari and his party, APC, are sponsoring division among Christian communities in the North.
In an interview with Nigerian Pilot, Pastor Bitrus Yerima, the national president of Gospel Advancement Leadership Initiative and a member the Northern Christian Leaders Eagle-eyes Forum, said that most of the pastors, including himself, who attended the “endorsement meeting” had no prior knowledge of what was to happen at the event.
He said: “Actually, we were told that Gen. Buhari wanted to have an audience with us regarding his presidential aspiration. The idea was that it was going to be an interactive session. I believe this is a sponsored endorsement. Our patrons and leaders are too noble to bring us to this embarrassing situation this way.
“There was no meeting or agreement that suggests that this organisation or all leaders of Christians in the North should come and endorse Gen. Buhari or any other presidential candidates,” he said.
According to him, “whoever came up with this idea, I believe, is speaking his own mind and not that of Northern Christian leaders. What you just witnessed is a fraud. This Forum has no right to take such a decision the way it has taken. Our members comprise of people belonging to different political parties and it is our belief that our members are free to vote for any candidate of their choice,” he said.
Another pastor who sought anonymity told our correspondent that the agenda was dead on arrival.
“The fact is that we were taken unawares by this so-called endorsement. Some of us have invested our integrity in our spiritual assignment that we cannot sell ourselves so cheaply. There are going to be a lot of counter reactions to this embarrassing development after this moment.”
Outside the lobby of the ICC, pastors were sharply divided as they discussed the development and its implications on their integrity and sub-groups in the northern region. A group was overheard expressing its displeasure that they could be invited to such a “shameful programme.”
One of them told newsmen when he was approached that the endorsement was planned. “I am an insider and I know everything that is happening here.”
The cleric stated that he had been in Abuja since the beginning of the week for an important event before a friend who was one of the organisers of the event asked him to wait behind to attend the meeting.
“It was supposed to be an interactive discussion with Gen. Buhari by the pastors to hear from him the grievances of the clerics from the northern part of the country but dramatically, it turned out as an endorsement meeting. Of course, the pastors will collect their welfare packages and go back knowing full well that this is fake,” he said.
Another Jos-based clergyman lamented that he had been dribbled into what he described as a big scam by politicians in the forum who are working for APC.
“Some of us were promised N100,000 each if we come here (Abuja). Later, they said the money had been reduced to figure of N50,000.”
However, what aggravated the anger of the clerics was the way they said they were shabbily treated. “What is so annoying now is that they eventually gave those of us who came from Jos N5,000, and then doled out N3,000 to those within Abuja axis. It is regrettable to have come here at all,” he said.
When Pastor Aminchi was later asked by newsmen to react to the grievances of some of his members, he said that “all the members on our list were sponsored.”
Asked to clarify the contention that the issue of endorsement of Buhari or any other presidential candidate was never discussed in any of their previous meetings and if it was, did the executive council of the Forum send the resolutions to all members, Pastor Aminchi emphatically stated that, “the issue was well discussed and attended.
“We held meetings in Zaria and Kaduna last week. Anyone who has a dissenting voice against what we have just done is definitely not our member,” he said.
In an attempt to give the meeting a wider spread, some of the pastors registered their churches in the states of the North where they are not represented. They also included the names of churches whose leaders were invited but did not attend the meeting.
Among the northern Christian leaders in at the meeting included Pastor Paul Great of Methodist Church, Jos; Bishop Lawrence Awanorwo, New Creation School of Divinity, Niger State; Bishop Daniel Oboni, Christ Life Evangelistic Church, Bauchi State (instead of Jos); Bishop Musa Gomson, Unlimited Mercy and Glory Church, Gombe State (instead of Jos); Apostle (Dr.) Abraham Babe, World Christian Mission, Taraba State (operates in Jos); Paul Zumta, Alheri Baptist Church, Sokoto State; Rev. Sam Adejoh, Life Changer Christian Centre, Yobe (instead of Jos); Rev. Daniel D. Gonzuk, Amazing Grace, Benue State (operates in Jos); Rev. Emmanuel Edesiri, Destiny Path Assembly Int. Nasarawa State (instead of Jos), Rev. (Dr.) Sunday, Divine Latter Times, Borno State (instead of Jos) and others.
Beside Osinbajo, Buhari was accompanied to the meeting by former Chief of Army Staff and Director of Security Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation, Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, Prof. Abdullahi and Gen. Paul Tarfa. Both Buhari and Osinbajo were presented copies of the Holy Bible at the meeting.

I’ll not promote one religion over another – Buhari
In his speech at the event, Buhari assured the Christian leaders that he would not promote one religion over another if elected president of Nigeria.
He said as a practicing Muslim, he never shared the views of any extremist group.
Buhari said: “I will not entertain, consider or promote the religious agenda of anyone. I will not condone any initiative that seeks to promote one religion over the other. Neither I, nor my party, or any member of my team has any desire or plan to Islamise or Christianise Nigeria or support anyone with such intention.
“Although I am a practicing Muslim, and I have been so all my life, I have never belonged to, nor shared the views of any extremist group. I am not even a cleric. I believe that religion is personal and private.
“Most of my bodyguards are Christians. If I have not Islamised these people who serve under me, how will I Islamise the likes of Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Ogbonnaya Onu, Governor Rochas Okorocha,
Kayode Fayemi, Rotimi Amaechi or Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a pastor?”
Buhari stressed that religion was never a factor with people he had worked with, saying what matters was that they were competent.
The APC candidate said Nigerians at all time should hold the unity, peace and progress of the country paramount and above all other considerations, especially politics.

- Buhari will not repeat the anti-masses, failed and insufficient policies of President Jonathan.
- Buhari's administration will not continue the inaction of President Jonathan irrespective of where or what the problem is.

- The Corruption, embezzlement and stealing presided over by Dr. Goodluck Jonathan will not be allowed to continue under Buhari.
- Crime against Nigeria and her citizens by politicians and their agents will be brought to Justice.

- Government Agencies will be strengthened to perform and will be headed by competent Nigerians.
- The Cabals that have influenced and frustrated Jonathan will not have such influence over Buhari.

- A new APC led Federal Government will work harder for the interest of Nigerians to distinguish themselves from the PDP.
- Anyone that tells you that APC and PDP are the same and will produce the same result is lying to your face.

Every true Nigerian should vote APC and send PDP back to the Drawing Board. It shall be well with Nigeria.

Can you state the anti masses failed and insulficient policies of President Goodluck?

Will like to know the inaction of the President with all the facts and figures on ground as alleged by you?

Can you prove the embezzling and corruption allegations?

Politics / Re: Ignorant APC Vice Prof. Osinbajo Does Not Know Gas by jdilight(m): 12:56pm On Feb 12, 2015
ogb5:
Voting in knowledgeable people is one of the beauty of democracy. This has been well developed by the advanced democracies in the west. To ensure that the nation elects the right people with the right skills, experience and qualifications, politicians are normally grilled on a range of subjects to gauge their understanding of the issues affecting their countries or constituency as the case may be.

In this vein looking at the power policy thrust of the APC as being put forward by no other person than their vice presidential candidate bring to fore some gross deficiency in the policy of the APC on power and shows that professor Osinbajo does not know what power generation entails.

The APC vice has consistently said that their government will improve power supply, the question is how will they do that.
The answer to the question of 'how' was answered by Osinbajo on Tuesday in Ondo during a town hall session. This is what he had to say.

1. They will decentralise power generation.
2. The decentralised power plants will have gas supplied to them by trucks instead of pipelines
3. They will copy the model of power plants already established in Lagos state.

herein lies the ignorance of the professor, also hidden in the rhetoric of the professor is the avenue for looting the treasury.
1. Power generation has been decentralised. Anyone, be it federal government, state government, local government or private companies can now set up power generation plant and sell such produced power as they deem fit. So Osinbajo should tell us something different.

2. Technically you can not supply a power plant like the one in Lagos with gas using trucks. This simply mean the professor and those formulating his policy on power generation knows nothing about power generation. The Lagos plant uses natural gas, that is another theme for methane gas. Industrially methane has 2 means of being transported, by pipelines when the point of use is less than 5,000 km and as liquefied natural gas by ships followed by re gasification when the point of use is more than 5, 000 km from the point of production. The gas supplied by trucks is liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used for domestic cooking. No country in the world bases her power generation on LPG. Moreover Nigeria does not have the facility to produce adequate LPG to cater for domestic cooking, so using LPG for power generation is out of the question. So Osinbajo promising to supply gas to power plants with trucks is simply talking about something that is not possible.

3. Osinbajo promised to model his modular power plants after the Lagos power plant. Simply put, the Lagos power plant is among the most expensive gas fired power plant in the world. The Ikeja modular power plant has an installed capacity of 10 megawatts and was built at a cost of 3.2 billion Naira. That was equivalent to about 2 billion usd per gigawatt of electricity. Globally the benchmark cost for gas fired power plants is 1 billion usd per gigawatt of electricity, the Ikeja plant cost twice the global benchmark for such plants. By planning to go with the Lagos model, Osinbajo is telling us the will deliver power at twice the global benchmark cost, and at a cost far higher than the current government is delivering power projects. Several gas fired power plants delivered by the current government in the last 4 yrs were delivered at less than 1 . 3 billion usd per gigawatt.

So Osinbajo has no clue about power generation, he is simply spooling out impossible promises to confuse the electorates. Worse part is that he is a pastor that is supposed to stand by the truth, how will he face God at the end of the day after telling blatant lies on the campaign trail.

http://www.punchng.com/news/apc-will-slash-tariffs-on-imported-cars-osinbajo/

This is the best you can expect from a Nigerian prof.

Nigerian profs. are theoretical professors, they create no practical model to test their theoretical ideology. They believe once it is theoretically proved it must be practically too.

Politics / Re: A Former Dictator Is A Better Choice Than A Failed President - THE ECONOMIST by jdilight(m): 11:58am On Feb 06, 2015
tbaba1234:
The least awful
A former dictator is a better choice than a failed president

SOMETIMES there are no good options. Nigeria goes to the polls on February 14th to elect the next president, who will face problems so large—from rampant corruption to a jihadist insurgency—that they could break the country apart, with dire consequences for Nigerians and the world.

And yet, as Africa’s biggest economy stages its most important election since the restoration of civilian rule in 1999, and perhaps since the civil war four decades ago, Nigerians must pick between the incumbent, Goodluck Jonathan, who has proved an utter failure, and the opposition leader, Muhammadu Buhari, a former military dictator with blood on his hands (see article). The candidates stand as symbols of a broken political system that makes all Nigeria’s problems even more intractable.

Start with Mr Jonathan, whose People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has run the country since 1999 and who stumbled into the presidency on the death of his predecessor in 2010. The PDP’s reign has been a sorry one. Mr Jonathan has shown little willingness to tackle endemic corruption. When the governor of the central bank reported that $20 billion had been stolen, his reward was to be sacked.

Worse, on Mr Jonathan’s watch much of the north of the country has been in flames. About 18,000 people have died in political violence in recent years, thousands of them in January in several brutal attacks by Boko Haram, a jihadist group that claims to have established its “caliphate” in territory as large as Belgium. Another 1.5m people have fled their homes. The insurgency is far from Mr Jonathan’s southern political heartland and afflicts people more likely to vote for the opposition. He has shown little enthusiasm for tackling it, and even less competence. Quick to offer condolences to France after the attack on Charlie Hedbo, Mr Jonathan waited almost two weeks before speaking up about a Boko Haram attack that killed hundreds, perhaps thousands, of his compatriots.

The single bright spot of his rule has been Nigeria’s economy, one of the world’s fastest-growing. Yet that is largely despite the government rather than because of it, and falling oil prices will temper the boom. The prosperity has not been broadly shared: under Mr Jonathan poverty has increased. Nigerians typically die eight years younger than their poorer neighbours in nearby Ghana.

Goodbye Jonathan
Voters have ample cause to send Mr Jonathan packing. In a country where power has often changed through the barrel of a gun, the opposition All Progressives Congress has a real chance of winning through the ballot box. Yet its candidate, Mr Buhari, is an ex-general who, three decades ago, came to power in a coup. His rule was nasty, brutish and mercifully short. Declaring a “war against indiscipline”, he ordered whip-wielding soldiers to ensure that Nigerians formed orderly queues. His economics, known as Buharism, was destructive. Instead of letting the currency depreciate in the face of a trade deficit, he tried to fix prices and ban “unnecessary” imports. He expelled 700,000 migrants in the delusion that this would create jobs for Nigerians. He banned political meetings and free speech. He detained thousands, used secret tribunals and executed people for crimes that were not capital offences.

Should a former dictator with such a record be offered another chance? Surprisingly, many Nigerians think he should. One reason is that, in a country where ministers routinely wear wristwatches worth many times their annual salary, Mr Buhari is a sandal-wearing ascetic with a record of fighting corruption. Few nowadays question his commitment to democracy or expect him to turn autocratic: he has repeatedly stood for election and accepted the outcome when he lost. He would probably do a better job of running the country, and in particular of tackling Boko Haram. As a northerner and Muslim, he will have greater legitimacy among villagers whose help he will need to isolate the insurgents. As a military man, he is more likely to win the respect of a demoralised army.

We are relieved not to have a vote in this election. But were we offered one we would—with a heavy heart—choose Mr Buhari. Mr Jonathan risks presiding over Nigeria’s bloody fragmentation. If Mr Buhari can save Nigeria, history might even be kind to him.

If buhari government put Nigeria on a good economic road why did general IBB remove him by a coup.

According to Ibb, "it became necessary to stop the nation from impending economic catastrophy."

If he could not do it when no one could ask him what are you doing. Why do you think he can when more than 150 million Nigerians are asking questions?

Buhari is no option.

Politics / Re: Lagos 2015: Igbos' Open Support For Jimi Agbaje Will Ruin His Chances by jdilight(m): 10:30am On Feb 04, 2015
VirginFinder:
It is no more news that ibos have ditched their own son, Bob Okoroji of APGA, in favour of Jimi Agbaje of PDP despite the fact that they did not get the much coveted deputy governorship slot.

It's ok by me. It's all part of democracy.

However, I make bold to say that this open/glaring show of support for Jimi Agbaje by the ibo community in Lagos will be his(Jimi Agbaje's) undoing in the forthcoming elections.
If I were him, I'll caution the ibos against so doing.
The reason is that, he now looks like an ibo candidate set to dance to the whims and caprices of the ibo community who will claim to have been responsible for his victory should he emerge the winner at the polls albeit by general support.

Also, their support for Jimi Agbaje is premised on nothing else than his promising them of more political appointments in Lagos than the current APC government has given them.
Doesn't that show greed, selfishness and ingratitude on the part of the ibos? When you give ibos an inch, they ask for a yard.
Why are other tribes not openly declaring support for a candidate?

Tinubu had to create a ministry from the blue just so that an Igbo man could be made commissioner. How many more of such 'ministries' will Jimi Agbaje have to create just to please the ibos and not offend the Yorubas?

Is there any way Jimi Agbaje will give ibos more political appointments without legitimate Yorubas having to lose ground/positions?

Is that fair?

Personally, I have nothing against Jimi Agbaje and he looks like a more serious and better candidate than Ambode. Ambode can't just stop smiling unnecessarily. It pisses me off!

However, with the way ibos are carrying Jimi Agbaje on their head just because of their selfish interest, I have no choice but to throw my weight behind Akin Ambode of APC if not for anything but to prove to ibos that their '90%' population in Lagos will neither be able to give them any elective position in Lagos or decide who wins any election for that matter.

This is the feeling among majority of Yorubas and it's the reason most of them will vote for APC.
Take it or leave it.

Serving ibos the humble pie every now and then is a task that must be done!!
In Lagos, APC win! Ambode wins!! By God's grace. Amen.

Cheers.

The lgbos don't need political post in Lagos, but a protection for their businesses.

Do you know how many illegal means the state use in taking the hard earned money of the businessman in Lagos?

A driver friend could not count 3000 naira offer a week of driving his own danfo in Lagos. Either this force takes the money today or another will tomorrow.

That is one of the many travail of the Igbo man and his business in Lagos.

The hebrew word rendered "soul" in d scriptures is {ne'phesh} .

What do you think about Numbers 6:6 ?

NUMBERS 6:6

" All the days of his keeping separate to Yahweh he may not come toward any dead soul (ne'phesh) " !!

The above is a deadly blow to the doctrine of immortal soul , DEAD SOUL (DEAD NEPHE'SH)many translators decode this and thus render /nephe'sh/ as " body" or " person" to preserve the big lie ! So it sounds " dead body" or " dead person" ......... THE TRUTH will always prevail even after many years of lies,

When will christendom wake up from this tactic of preservin doctrines instead of rendering pure undiluted word of God .

If this is what makes you scream blue murder then you have not read the verse of the Bible that say, " the soul that sinneth shall die". In this verse all the Bible versions called it soul that sin shall die.

You can not understand the Bible because you are not one of US.

No matter how intelligent you are, you can not carry out a brain surgery unless your a neurosurgeon.

Many Christians don't even understand the Bible not to talk of a total stranger.

Politics / Re: Bakare Blasts CAN, PFN For Endorsing jonathan by jdilight(m): 7:11pm On Feb 02, 2015
Advertico:
Pastor Tunde Bakare has criticised CAN
and PFN for endorsing President
Goodluck Jonathan for the 14 February
presidential election at the expense of
one of their own, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo,
the running mate to the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate,
Muhammadu Buhari.

According to PM News, Pastor Bakare in a
sermon titiled “The Sweet And Sour
Ministry Of The Prophet”, said ”some of
the compromising Christian leaders he often
described as palace prophets, were only
after their pockets, which was why they have queued behind Jonathan and rejected
their son.”

He explained that “a prophet is sent to bring
change not build consensus,” adding that
“whenever you compromise what is right
in order to gain acceptance with men, you
lose acceptance with God.” Findings by PM News reveal that the Leaders
of CAN and PFN had met at the Redemption
Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of
God, RCCG, to pray for the nation and the
forthcoming election, but the meeting turned
out to be for a secret endorsement of Jonathan’s candidacy. In attendance at the meeting, were Pastor
Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer, RCCG;
Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel;
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, CAN President; Rev.
Felix Omobude, PFN President; Pastor Paul
Adefarasin, PFN Vice President; Pastor Wale Adefarasin of the Guiding Light Assembly and
other key Christian leaders in the nation. Pastor Osinbajo was also at the meeting to
seek their blessing to support him and the
candidacy of General Muhammed Buhari. Pastor Paul Adefarasin was said to have
broken the silence when he asked Adeboye
who they should support since his ‘son’,
Pastor Osinbajo is vying for the vice
presidency with Buhari. They wanted Aeboye
to say something and Osinbajo was watching as he believed that ‘Baba’ will certainly
ask other leaders to endorse him, but he was
disappointed Adeboye was said to have told them that he
is a man under authority and that since he is
under the authority of CAN and PFN, whoever
they endorsed, he would support and go with
them. It was then that Oyedepo stood up and said
he had prayed and that God was leading him
to endorse and support Jonathan and that
was the script the Christian leaders adopted
at the expense of Osinbajo. Instead of the meeting being for prayer for
the nation, it was gathered that it turned out
to be for the secret endorsement of Jonathan
as all the leaders present except Osinbanjo
agreed that CAN and PFN should go with
Jonathan

Bakare is talking about son and own. Has he ever taken time outside politics to know what God is talking?
