March and April applicants are you ready? Let the decisions (approvals amd refusals) start rolling. Visa is never a right but a privilege by the host country. So let's learn to manage our expectations. Nothing should be do or die. |
You can transfer 5m in the first month with a narrative of project from your account to your spouse. Then subsequently 300k, 200k, 500k and like that from same 1st month to the fourth month. Make sure she also spends from the account like her normal home keep expenses. So it means d 20m should be spread to her within 4 months period to make them feel she's financially stable. Go and ask for refund for the education you got. musicwriter: |
Wait oh, is it that you applied for the course without checking or considering the school fees. Please adequate planning is required in Canada now as school pathway is not even guaranteed now to PR. kelvinyung12: |
I want to assume you are either on a professional degree or Masters that can offer SOWP for your partner. You need to understand the progression of Canada status. The fact you had a break and worked full time doesn't give you a Full time worker status. You re still a student with restricted work hours which was only removed during break. Hence, you can't use that student work status as a full time offer to sponsor your spouse for SOWP. Remember you re still on study permit and your motive for applying for study permit is first for your study and not work. You can only transit to full time work upon graduation and PGWP issuance. So try push the naira to your wife's account while u retain d CAD, then pay deposit of your school fees from another source and then reapply. kobobay: |
Four months bank statement doesn't mean all your funds must be accumulated four months ahead. Things that make statement of account solid. 1. Opening and closing balance. You cannot have opening balance of 500k and then closing balance of N50m within 4 months. That's a red flag 2. Alignment of your situation with your inflows. If you say you are a biz person, you have to proof that with regular biz inflows and then receipts, contract awards, biz registration etc Regular inflows is what they will use to project if you will be able to pay subsequent school fees and your living expensees. 3. If you earn salary and allowance then the regular salary inflows with narration that reflect and align with offer letter and renumeration received by an organization. 4. If you say you sold a land then the transfer sum must reflect with the narration and then adequate explanation with documentation to explain apply. The sale amount doesn't need to be accumulated over 4 months period but u have to justify the sale with the importance of your career progression within your home country justifying abroad study and returning home. 5. Normal spending on living expenses so it doesn't look like you don't have access to spend from that account. There is no such thing that all your funds must have been there 4 months before you

|
On a 2nd note, what if the insufficient financial situation here is referring to your wife, remember she is d one coming to join you and the visa officer will require she has strong home tie. I advise you increase her biz profile in Nigeria and do a lot of transactions to her. Let the 20m be in her account while the 17k CAD in your account and get like 5k CAD deposit payment on your school fees and try again. Better still wait for d gcms note. This was d reason my spouse was denied initially until I boosted her profile with paid job. Transfers from me and offer letter/letter of leave of absence. Kurukuru: |
Visa to Canada for immigrants is a privilege and not a right. Know this and know peace so you can manage your expectations. tobe1997: |
Yes of course. His monthly inflow as salary will justify the funds accumulated in the last four months while the land sale will justify the latest lump sum. That's how I used my PoF for my spouse and she's in her 2nd year of study in Canada now. The land sale lump sum came in 3 days before I applied. kelvinyung12: |
I feel attention had been given to study visa in the last 2 to 3weeks because of the Fall Resumption so student application can be either refused or approved. Next week we should get more decisions for March and April TRVs. Singlefile: |
From what I can see from your description, he has a good skill to earn 700k in Nigeria. Let him sell one of the lands (if it is as you put it), Life is all about sacrifice. Ensure while selling all documentations signed are attached as proof in Letter of Explanation for lump sum. University of New Brunswick school fees for Masters is between 30k and 32k CAD. The Masters admission will give him access to 3 years PGWP. He has so many options like Student connection (Express Entry) though not guaranteed the way Canada is going. He also has options of Federal Skill Express Entry with Canadian Experience Class ( from his 3 years PGWP) and so the possibilities are there for him to succeed in Canada. However, in his application for study permit, he must proof that that salary of 700k enters every month, job offer letter, hmo, pension, study leave, transfers to his wife (spouse financial connection) and the SoP must describe his study intention in terms of short, mid and long term. Business sponsorship will require more documentation of the company's directors, shareholders (owners) and a referendum where it was agreed that they will sponsor him. Can he provide such? If u succeed in Canada, whatever house or land you sell, you will buy something better except you re not optimistic of the move then settle down in Nigeria and try other things. Cheers. kelvinyung12: |
But you didn't explain the state of your fund and we re not inside your mind to know your challenge. The way you explained it looks like you are almost stranded and needed advice to get through. bishopatis: |
Chai....I hope Visa Officers are not checking this thread oh. Na Show of Fund we dey do not Proof of fund. Maria96: |
Seems some folks are using this thread to target some gullible members here. Another thing is dude might be calculating forward by 2 years to see what might be his best approach and options. ednut1: |
Consistency is the key here like monthly salary inflows, inflows from business transactions you had earlier informed the IRCC you are into etc olasubomy: |
I think January/Feb/March. But people with US Visa whose application were processed under CAN plus have gotten applications from recent month up till June...July. approved. Doublej805: |
Oya go and pay agent. Just do well not to come and disturb us here when things cast. Seems we don't like the truth in this part of the world reason immigration, political, religious, job and different scams is a big biz in Africa. A word is enough for the wise. clayfounder: |
He has lost grounds in his own PDP state but chest beating about making threats in other PDP states. Laughable. |
Absolutely, I thought as much under IMP. Shey you no go apply for Canada Visa Officer Job like this. You re very vast with their immigration laws.😁 affoncad: |
Meanwhile Portable dey boast of getting 10 years Canada Work Permit... its either Portable or the Newspaper reporter don smoke Wike Igbo.https://dailytrust.com/portable-gets-10-year-canada-work-permit/ |
For 2 weeks now nobody reported PPR....what is happening to February and March Applicants? |
If you don't I am not sure you will be penalized because the US refusal didn't happen before your application submission. Why should you update them on something that doesn't give you any advantage? My thought though. Biamoz: |
His case is not the exemption here because according to him he wants to...he hasn't applied for LMIA yet. The exemption here is for people who have arrived Canada earlier with Visit Visa and then applied for LMIA before 28th of August 2024. So the question the dude should ask himself is: 1) Has he landed in Canada with a TRV before 28th August 2024 and has his legal status active? 2) Has he also applied for LMI!A (Closed work) permit with the active TRV he came in with before Aug 28th 2024? His response needs to be Yes for both before he can say it applies to him. affoncad: |
Jeboy: |
Yes those that landed before Aug 28 with Visit visa amd applied for LMIA based on job offer will be excluded from the new Law. The update mentions that as exception. But the truth is how feasible is such process for LMIA when it takes a long process by administration and bottleneck not also undermining the huge cost involved? Taal17: |
The surge for visit visa will surely go down. Canada is now stricter. |
Even if you hold a PGWP, SOWP or Bridging permit as a foreigner, you would still struggle to get a job based on 10% quota assigned to foreign workers in every Canadian organization talk less of you having Visitor visa. I have accepted my fate that I will hold my visit visa until my spouse completes her course and get a PGWP and a full time job for me to convert. I know there are no short cut. Canada is not Nigeria that you can beat system. Even if you do, you can be caught tommorrow and pay the penalty. |
Hello @debbie Does this applies to visitors applying for LMIA work permit alone or including SOWP? Debbieeeeeee: |
?
its either Portable or the Newspaper reporter don smoke Wike Igbo.
