It's the normal practice for people with some dispute to reach out to members offline to try and explain their one sided explanation so as to recruit sympathizers.
I have a fair share of such communications too of such people trying to change the narrative to different regular participants offline where they feel their claims can't face scrutiny.

The bolded worked for me when i did my POP...Got quote from 4 guys, 3 of them from this forum..While there is no much difference in their prices; their measurement was wide apart. That was a "red flag" for me. I knew something was off! So the 4th guy i contacted here on this forum, i fixed a date and we both went there together.. I make sure the measurement was done RIGHT in front of me, me sef i carry calculator and the result, well i saved about 15 square metres for a job that is less than 100 square metre. Except for one of the pop guys, the other three had the same scope of work...After some other few experiences, i just concluded that you the "ABRODIANS" on this forum have spoil all this artisan for us, they want to cheat us the way they cheat YOU!

You know, its such a shame, because at the end we all loss!! if you did me wrong, I will never refer you to anyone, that means you loss business through referrals! Apparently this doesn't mean a lot to Nigerian Artisans. Where we are, this is the greatest way you make money.

I said it once here before, until this guys police themselves and call each other out like bolu did, this will never stop. I will say some of the Artisans on here are honest and diligent but you have to do your due diligence as well.

Up until now I have actually liked and respected ROTECH77, I THOUGHT HIS WORK IS NEAT AND PROFFECTIONAL, I AM DISAPPOINTED, I PRAY HE WILL DO EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO CORRECT THIS AND SAVE HIS REPUTATION. If you continue arguing on here you are only making yourself look worse. At all cost (even at a loss, fix it!) One project should lead to another for you, just my little advice. There is STILL TIME!!

There are some who are obviously bad and don't care about their reputation, they will lie and lie and they expect you to believe them. May God help them!

I got a $10k reduction in value from the appraisal but it doesn’t affect the tax because the full maximum 10% yearly increase (taxable) on last year’s value still puts the 2022 home value about $60k above that. If the new value keeps that means I will have maximum property tax increase for the next 2 years. I always do the online appeal though and it has worked every year until this year.

I am not sure if your state has it, (mine does) but u can apply for Homestead which reduces your property taxes for your personal residence.

Well, NL, I am still at it with Adedward, the Aluminium guy, this guy honestly, is a perpetual liar! He needed to replace the net on the windows (his own suggestion) he collected 55k over a month, he was suppose to go the past two week, it’s been one story after another, just yesterday he texted me and said his boys were on their way to the site, till now no one has showed up! He, by far has been the worse person to deal with for me on this project! Lies, lies, lies!!!

Even with on-site security, this issue of wire theft is alarming and very serious! I had a similar issue at my site, fortunately, it wasn’t to the tune of 2m� I said it once here, until we all start to police each other in Nigeria things may not be right for a while. There is a slogan “if u see something, say something “ I feel for the owner! Someone on-site knows something!
