Jeralj... will your father have walked past a 30 year old 2nd lieutenant without giving him his compliment? Irrespective of the fact that your dad had more experience
He wouldnt, same way the 2nd lieutenant will have to respect himself cuz he knows nothing yet..

Experience is ever the best teacher, make person no go do puma to him early grave. It's always better to be humble n learn than to walk with 50 shoulder patch with pride n know nothing.

Na salute person wan chop?
Survival first

That's why I said na only commissioning person go use pass them.. Everybody na soldier but always have it in mind that people will always follow the leadership of a familiar face.

I don't understand this sudden deification (making them look like gods) of MWOs huh
Next thing somebody will say MWOs can fúck COAS up. Easy guys. One thing I love about the army is the chain of command and the respect officers have for their seniors (even if they don't like you). Your own is to show respect where it is due, it doesn't reduce your rank. And you must get your compliment.

Army is not your village kporakpor (meeting).
Bro its the chain of command that will be your problem if u don't respect yourself as a lieutenant, captain, major.. How do u think command is passed to the NCO's? undecided

The superior officers must pass through the WOs to the soldiers. I be barrack boy n my father was a WO2 I know. Na only commissioning u use pass am, e get experience pass u.

No just go do pass urself, na u am them go dey frontline make them no forget person for back
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by jelraj(m): 12:18pm On Sep 28, 2020
WO'S are not to be toyed with.. It is believed that respect is reciprocal, no go dey do pass yourself if u be officer cuz those WO'S can Bleep u up big time.

They are in charge of all NCO's down to staff Sergeants. Especially the MWO's

No use small eye look them, learn from them n seek advice too, to be MWO no be beans. I grow up in the barracks so I know.

As an officer u will get ur compliment u go tire self, but remember no be everybody go like u.

On that issue of child terrorist who ran out of magazine, if I find myself in that position as a soldier. I will move closer to him if there is no cross fire, draw my dagger, slit his throat and send him to hereafter. I can't waste my bullet on such a boy. He is better of in heaven or hell, (whatever place God choose to put him) than making this life a living hell for human. cool no time for rubbish, because they will still release him. This is battle field, small slacking like this can lead to death of thousands.

Not exactly, but they are contributing their quota on border security in the north east which is part of their mandate, the armed forces especially the army have been stretched beyond their elastic limit. It's only commonsensical to empower other sister agencies like the Immigration, Customs, Police etc to live up to their constitutional mandate. The army have no business holding ground/mixing with the civil populace, their job is to capture territories from the enemies and advance to the next objective while paramilitary establishment move in and occupy territories and restoring the civic space.
U are right sir ugo
It's high time the army stops playing big brother, they keep losing soldiers that way..

All this paramilitary and police should do their job too. The work load is becoming too much

It's now atleast four ordinary passes (D7), age was increased to 35yrs for tradesmen, this is rather strange but it tells one something that they really need people enmass, they even made it clear that nothing like CBT exams just screening of documents and all successful candidates will be heading to depot after which everyone will be sent for Special forces training.
Anyone joining should settle down and think it through properly.
I don't know why I find this funny grin
People don dey run for the job.
Imagine Army no want credit again na pass, they even increased the age.
I read somewhere that even Immigration officers are now being drafted too to fight terrorism. Las las country don dey cast.

God help us all survive this hard times, I dey pray our time dey different n peaceful

The NDA released shortlisted names for its 72 regular course intake recently and the news that has been making rounds is that a particular applicants name was shortlisted twice.

I don't want to believe it's an error. It rather strengthen the fact that 'pressing button' is very rampant, even in the NA.

Imagine shortlisting someone's name twice while another that passed the test well could not find his name. This life no just balance.
You just dey know now?
E no balance at all
