TV/MoviesRe: Nigeria's Karen And Zimbabwe's Wendall Are The Winners Of Big Brother Amplified by Jenifa1: 1:02am On Aug 01, 2011
Nigerians again using the power of large numbers (and sentiments) to intimidate the rest of africa. I guess the organisers knew this would surely happen hence they decided to crown two winners in this edition.
lol

Starlett:
Must say I'm really downright ashamed of all those who cannot see a simple thread in Nairaland without turning it into tribal bashing. U know yourselves, no need to mention names here.
I think it's best that you ignore him. Sometimes posters themselves feed the tribalism by concentrating on the tribalistic comment instead of focusing on what the topic is about.
RomanceRe: Romatic Distress From An Older Nairaland Member by Jenifa1: 8:07pm On Jul 31, 2011
so i simply avoided telling em, shes @ the moment angry i called her friend disregarding what she did and here i am confused on what next to do, although i must admit that yes i do have a girlfriend here but i really dont love her but i so love my girl back in nigeria but now i simply dont know if i should agree with my family or follow my heart cos for the past 1 year she hasnt been there in my life for me
first of all, there is nothing in your post that proves she is cheating on you. does having lunch with classmate or visiting her lecturer automatically means she is cheating?
second of all, even if she's cheating, you also are doing the same in scotland. does she know about your scottish girlfriend?
third of all, I think it is in your best interest to move on. for your own good and for her own good. you obviously do not trust her. so spare her and let her move on with her life.

4 abortions in 4 yrs. u wan kill her? what happened to condom!? huh
RomanceRe: Nigerian Girls Can You Take A Bullet For Your Boyfriend? by Jenifa1: 7:59pm On Jul 31, 2011
This kind of sacrifice is one that's easier to do because you just unconsciously do it:

It depends on the situation
My best friend ( a guy ) was knocked down by a car in place of me
we were skating on the streets and playing with friends, and i went towards the middle of the road, i did not notice the on coming vehicle because my back was to the road, and i guess it was impulse, he ran into the road and pushed me off the road, but there was no time for him to also jump out, he was hit by the car but not too seriously, and thank God there was no injury because by that time the driver too was trying to avoid knocking me down. so i have to think, what if it was a more serious situation, my friend would have injured or died because he was trying to save me, if he could do that, i guess he can take a bullet for me. Both cases are about sacrifice, so i guess i can do the same for someone or for ( him ).

ha I think I found my husband. sexkillz I will take a bullet for u ooo  tongue tongue tongue

@topic,
depends on d situation. but most likely no because I'm not a fool. I'm sure d guy most likely won't take a bullet for me either. so why shld I?
plus. when i'm dead, he won't hesitate to find a new girl n move on with his life.

I think the interesting kind of sacrifice is the one u do unconsciously. That I could even do for a stranger or enemy.

Nairaland GeneralRe: NL Females: Which Body Will You Prefer To Have? And Guys Pick One! by Jenifa1: 6:09am On Jul 29, 2011
both pictures are extreme although if I had to choose, I'll pick B.

reasons are:
1.)  A is too suggestive. I find sexu.al harassment to be disrespectful and I can imagine A going through that 10x a day.
2.) B body type is very flexible. for playing sports, clothing etc without having to worry about bosoms or butt getting in the way.
3.) Body type B is likely to attract a responsible, easy going male. while body type A is likely to attract a sexu.al predator.
4.) A bosoms will be saggy after a couple of years. by the time she's 45, her body will be looking very matronly. B on the other hand will also look older but less matronly.

but then again, I will admit bias because my own body type looks closer to B than to A. I'm sure if my body looks closer to A, I will find 101 reasons why A is better.

the pic of kate moss vs naomi campbell is soo wrong.  cheesy
come on. kate moss has saggy skin because she's white+cocaine use. not because she's skinny.
