I would like to see pics of rural areas where vast majority of Nigerians lived. migration to the city is a relatively new development in Africa. Lagos of the 60s/70s is like Abuja of 90s/00s. a new un-congested city will be clean and shiny. I know my parents didn't live in the city in 60s/70s. they were in their towns and villages. so I want to see pics of those places. |
MeandSum:abi o I think what the confusion comes from is that we're not counting the informal economy where the food is passing through. this is way larger than the formal economy. 70% of nigerians def. do not live on less than $1 a day. |
whiteroses:lol. this is funny srry If I were your friend, I would take this as an insult. anyways, [sarcasm] my advice is for you to trap him with pregnancy [/sarcasm] |
4 Play:What is so shocking about it. I think we Nigerians are living in denial. food for 150 million people for four years. how much do you think that costs. what's so improbable about the calculation? |
Apart from my revulsion at the needless murders of the innocent, nothing upset me more than Ojukwu's dishonest formulations and his attempt to kidnap the Ogoni, among others, into his Igbo empire called "biafra." I knew that he pinned his hopes of the economic viability of "biafra" on the oil of the Ogoni and the Ijaw. I rebelled. I became Secretary of a small committee which met nights in Port Harcourt and issued a communiqué calling on Gowon to create a Rivers State by decree.Ken Saro Wiwa must be rolling in his grave https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-700671.0.html |
This is why abortion should be allowed. Imagine the woman is probably transferring her hatred for the runaway father onto the son. She should have aborted the child when she was 19. Who knows she might have been raped and then got pregnant. but the new husband should also be guilty for his complacency because i'm sure he knew about the physical abuse going on in his home. |
Obiagu1:hehehe ![]() I agree though. Abuja is d federal capital after all |
labaks:oh lordy ![]() remember 3 husbands +pdiddy+ ben affleck anyways, I wonder who the next boyfriend /fiance/husband will be. How old is she again? |
Cuddlemii:ouch. we skinny girls are fine with our weight too. abi wetin come concern ezekiel now. dry bone ko. wet fat ni everybody should be proud of what they have. jada pinkett smith ain't bad either. neither is our classy oluchi onwuegba. |
The four-year study of 169 newlywed couples found that husbands were more satisfied initially and wives were more satisfied over time when the fairer sex had a lower body mass index -- a common measure of body fat.so in other words, men are fine with their wives. but women are the ones who worry about their weight. topic title is very misleading. abeg besides it's probably an American study. it doesn't apply to Nigeria. |
so what will you do after your smallie gets fat? jump off a bridge? ![]() it's not your fault sha. your gf messed up big time for staying for 9 yrs without ring on her finger. she really messed up. IF MY SISTER COMES CRYING THAT HER BF OF 9 YEARS JILTED HER, I WILL TALK SENSE INTO THOSE BRAINS OF HERS.true talk. I really don't pity the girl because she was just wasting her time with the fool. she really needs to move on and find a better person while she still can. lol |
maybe now PDP can leave Fashola alone and focus on Anambra governor. lol https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-715299.0.html |
“As a son of this town and a title holder, I feel very sad about the situation,” said Kpajie Nnamdi Ibegbu (SAN) on Awka Road, along which Azikiwe's residence is located. “People should put pressure on the Federal Government to come and complete it.”what people is he talking about? what is he doing that he cannot rally his town to put pressure on FG himself. charity begins at home. if his own town members or family members don't care for him. how do they expect the rest of the country to care? |
I am confused, but I am afraid to ask. . .why are you afraid to ask your husband simple questions? it's a nigerian culture thing for a husband to refer to his wife spouse as their 'child's mum'. even nigerian wives call their husbands their 'child's dad' and the age thing you found on facebook of all places. lol why are you so worried about that. I will agree with Chima that there might be other issues that you are not revealing to us. because to me, your inability to ask your husband these simple questions makes me wonder what other things you are afraid to ask him. |
alright thanks rokiatu didn't help me much but like kandikane said: kandiikane: ![]() |
rokiatu, thx for the reply. so what do you do in-between retouching? do you use flat iron? how nappy is your natural hair? what leave in treatment do you use? I guess there's a genetic component. I have a friend who also has really long hair then I met her mom and realized where she got it from. lol |
So you actually pronounce Igbo as IGBO? Na lie. Is a lie. Even them sef (the igbo people) pronounce it as Ibo.
yea. I've never heard it being pronounced as IGBO. even by igbo people themselves. maybe because their gb sound is very silent?odumchi should come explain to us why igbo people themselves pronounce the word as ibo. odumchi:lol let me guess, . you've attended a couple of owambes. |
