MeGaStReEt:have u listened to justin beiber lately? wizkid is certainly the nigerian version of justin beiber. ![]() kelz88:me too. some are quite catchy. |
help me ask them. many of the athletes, even the unmarried ones, manage to end up broke and penniless in less than a decade anyway. wonder what they're spending the money on if not on cars and prostitutes. and they made the choice to do so. They don't deserve to be rich in d first place. just like lottery winners many of whom don't know what to do with their newly found richness (wealth is not the word to describe it. because they r rich not wealthy). lots of money, no sense of responsibility. and the other one is bringing up polygamy as a solution. I laugh in greek. it is practiced mainly among muslims (who are known for discipline) for a reason. for a woman to enter a polygamous marriage, she must be sure that the man will can care/provide of her and children. because most likely they're not doing it just for "love" isn't that what these yeye boys refer to as "gold digging"? |
vislabraye:help me ask them. |
I'll pray for you my dear. Either you are obviously misguided or you are not a Nigerian, for only a non-Nigerian would believe in working(tufiakwa) and praying. In Nigeria, all we need is prayer. Nothing more. Why do you think our country is so blessed?
I tire for you. lol |
logica:I can see all the logic oozing from your post. bastard. |
those friends kelz88 is talking about are probably not virgins anymore as we speak. because it won't take too long before they eventually lose it if they go to uni and start acting like that. |
logica:did you see ur name in my post? why the need to respond to my comment? go and hug a transformer. |
I had this aunty, though we were not related, she was just a neighbour who was living close to us, who came into my room and slept with me.why is the title so misleading. it is well:if you check the gender sign you will realize that it's the men that are making the harsh comments. rape is a very serious matter. kudos to ice prince for opening up. he put himself in a vulnerable position by doing so. |
i'm loving this!! ![]() thumbs up |
lagerwhenindoubt:heheh ![]() |
these pastors need to start exorcising wizards too. why is it always witches (women) that are called out? phxc:hahahaha where did you get this from? |
kelz88:hahah me neither. what an awkward speech to listen to. ![]() |
kelz88:yup. it's a personal conviction to remain one or not. it's not as if anybody will know unless you tell them anyway. really don't know why nikki laoye is informing her wedding guests. anyone can do it. but it's not as easy as you make it seem. esp if the girl is not with the right company/frame of mind etc. |
^ not a big deal to you. different people have different opinion about it. Nikki Laoye is, for example, a gospel singer. so her religion must have had something to do with why she remained one till marriage. |
yarodin:srry. only yorubas are allowed on the bridge. |
pendo89: kelz88:they've kept their hymen intact at least. leave them alone. in fact, those ones deserve the highest praise. it's very hard to be intimate with a guy, do all sorts of things and yet keep your legs closed. they deserve awards. |
rhymz:how can you be arguing for polygamy and arguing against gold-digging at the same time. EVERY woman that agrees to enter a polygamous marriage is a "gold digger" (whoever invented that word. i'm sure it's one of those useless hip hop rappers) because they sure are not doing it for sex or love. polygamous men tend to be wealthy and older for a reason. not young boys looking to "bleep as many women as possible" that's what prostitutes are for. know your level. plz |
logic101: Where are our nigerian engineering companies. Why are there europeans leading the project. Its a big shame that we africans haven't learnt to do things by ourselves for ourselves.I wonder o same with so called New Atlantic City project. |
This week Tuesday was my birthday which i did not even remember (lol)super story |
Is there a problem with marrying whomever?how do you define marriage? some see it as a union between just two people. some see it as a union between extended families. others see it as impinging on the community as a whole. Practicing Jews, for example, are generally against intermarriage. same with other groups that have strict marriage rules. Indians and other Asians come to mind where parents pick for their children sometimes. and these groups are the most successful minority races/groups in western countries. And when it comes to class, that's another issue. with the rich preferring to inter-marry with the rich etc. I'll think these exclusivity "rules" have some validity to them. too much intermarriage dilutes the culture norms. and eventually, with enough intermarriage, the group/race etc ceases to exist. i guess it's all about preservation. especially if you have something valuable or "worthwhile" to preserve. |
kandiikane:I know rite. just listen for the accent to spot her. ![]() |
So sad that during our fathers days, it was like a right. But these days its a big privilage.
women married young during your grand fathers' days. marriage at 30 is even too old for those olden day standards. she would have probably been banished to the evil forest for being 30 and husbandless. ![]() @OP, nuns and monks stay virgin throughout their lives. but the bride, i don't know. was she boasting to her wedding guests or what? that's odd. she should keep her private detail to herself. she's pretty though |
star1284:when did your journey start and what inspired you to it? what do you hope to accomplish/gain from it? you can start @ your local library and also try to meet more nigerians in your locality. also recommend reading Barack Obama's Dreams from My Father. He describes his own journey and the outcome of his quest is very interesting. wish u d best on your trip! |
they're definitely injecting some hard drugs. you can tell from their faces. |
evening between 7-9pm. if it's eba ibo, then at least 2 hrs earlier. |
we need to work AND pray. not one without the other. although I do understand that you are trying to make a mockery of God. u need to repent. |
