You don't know what you are saying.

There is no cure for Coronavirus so there's no where in the world that something magical is happening.

The country is on lockdown to prevent its spread and that has nothing to do with rich or poor people.

The virus does not have to come in from London or Germany or China. It can come on from Cotonou or Lome or Chad where the less wealthy people visit.
Okay o. Anything that makes you happy.

Why didn't all the countries of the world including the South Korea you keep chiming about shut their borders?

Perhaps they were waiting for their own president's daughter to come back from their travel.

Even after shutting the borders, didn't we get people coming in from Togo and Benin Republic ?

You lot are so petty and full of conspiracies.
This man what are you saying sef.

Are you trying to say Nigeria is handling this issue better than South Korea?

Have you thought about the reason we have not yet seen heavy cases yet in the country is because of the wide Gap between the rich and the poor. And because of this, it took a longer time to get into communities.

Now this same communities, in many of them, people are not abiding by the social distancing rules.

Why don't you wait to get the results of the next few weeks before claiming Nigeria is been a giant in handling this issue.

There was a woman staying close to us. She used to come to my mum's shop when bored. One day my younger brother went to assist her in fixing sequence on materials. Then my mum asked me to go m call him after some time. I entered n saw they were tidying up her apartment. What caught my eye was an old pic that dropped on the floor. When I picked it n saw the picture my head got swollen. It was a picture of the same woman taken decades ago. It was a black and white picture. The woman was well dressed and adorned iin gold jewellery. Though the pic was taken like over thirty years before, the woman didn't look a bit older. Immeriately she saw the picture in my hand, she collected it n didn't utter a word. This was a woman who laid claim to having come different ethnic groups in Nigeria. There's no dialect she could not speak. When sdjef today she would say she's from Edo,another day she will say she's Yoruba.
One day her apartment got flooded and she came to sleep in our sitting room In the midnight when I wanted to go ease myself I saw her wrapped like a corpse sitted on the chair. I almost fainted.
A widower on the street saw n took her in. She gave birth to a baby boy but was sent packing when the husband discovered she had no single family member that identified with her . At a stage she begged my mum to claim they are related but she didn't oblige. God knows where she is now.
It's really weird.
That is something creepy horror movie stuff.

hmmmn
you know how sometimes you pray to meet someone just like you.

i met a girl many years back. i am very dark and she was very fair and pretty. we just blended from the first day we met. i would be thinking of something and next thing she is talking about it or she calls and talks about it. it was so much like she was 10 steps ahead of me in my thoughts and it became very scary. it was more than telepathy.

back then in school. i went to my friend's lodge to play ball then after the match i went to their lodge bathroom to have a bath. I was having my bath and someone was already in the next bathroom and she started singing BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS by GREENDAY, it was a girl. Out of surprise, I was singing the song with her and she sang it with no mistake. then she left the bathroom. I came out and told my friend about it. We went to all the rooms with babes inside and they were all like i was speaking German. That was over 10 years ago still can't forget it.

if you ever went to boarding school, you would likely meet lots of weird people.
I know a guy who nobody never ever saw him take a bath. yes he took a bath and he was very neat but he would wait till there was nobody or he bath very early when everywhere is still dark. Boys hostel where guys can walk around and bath together yet nobody saw him without a shirt for 6 years. I will not say his name... the internet is a small place.

----

I saw my neighbors child sitting down quiet like she was sad and bored. I tried to cheer her up with toys and those barney & friends stuff. Nothing was working. she didn't say a word for like 5 more minutes & I was still trying to cheer her up. Next thing she screamed at me CAN'T YOU SEE I AM THINKING OF SOMETHING? PLEASE STAY QUIET. then she went blank again. walahi i was shocked. she was just 2 years old.

-----

Let me add one i remembered
this happened during my NYSC. One very cold early morning I was jogging to my friend's house so we can gym then suddenly a fly entered my eye. you know how frustrating this can be right? i stopped running so I could rub my eye but one very old woman from nowhere on that lonely road told me not to rub my eyes. she was not speaking in English or yoruba but was just making gesture and some noises like dumb people usually do. she demonstrated that i should spit twice on the floor. I did it and the fly just came out without stress. I don't know if this is an ancient trick or what but it was a very weird experience.
Is that how much you like Greenday? I am a green day fan also.

Holiday and American idiot are my favourite tracks from them.

I get the same concept applies to ancient Egyptian religion too and all the cultures and religions that precedes it.

Those that are not aware of the formulas are those that failed to understand the past. Everything under the sun is nature and man-made.
That is why religion is not the causality of backwardness.

Good. Keyword is "academics".

But without a religion such as Christianity, there wouldnt be modern science or academics.....

---As already pointed out by the Cambridge professor of history and philosophy in His book: The Genesis of Science.

How then could religion be the major reason for backwardness??

The first step in solving a problem is realising what the problem is. When we realise that our problem as a people is lack of critical thinking, we may begin to see the relevance of not very common common sense as a society and that will be a giant step towards mental emancipation.
History has shown thay you dont need all of society to solve a problem.

Those who claim to be critical thinkers in the African clime, should band together and solve the so called problems. The world awaits.

Religion by virtue by the virtue name and birth, not in mentality and practice.

Religion, except among the chronically deluded is nothing but cultural and race differentiation and identification.

Africans are the only ones that are caught in between without knowing where they belong and that explains why they are most deluded and most backward.
Except we see Atheists or so called free-thinkers in Africa making major and significant contributions to the continent, then the inference of religion being the major problem of Africa is invalid.

The Universe has been scientifically shown to have a beginning just as every religious teaching that speaks of the origin of the universe.

The fundermental question then is HOW did the material universe come into existence.
The religious people say the Universe was created BY non material beings
The scientific atheists say the Universe came out of nothing.
The non scientific atheist either blindly support the scientific atheists or pretend not to care.

Now you say:
However, as with any opinion/theory, the holder must also be ready to logically defend it, as well as for such opinion/theory to face thorough scrutiny for verification of facts using existing evidence.

1. Is there a logical or scientific defence for the universe coming out of existence from nothing?
2. Do you expect a physical evidence from non-physical Extraterrestrial beings who theists say created the universe?
3. If your instrument cannot detect a signal, it that a positive and conclusive indication that the subject of measurement doesn't exist?
Unfortunately, Atheists are not given to Deductive reasoning.

Your last question especially exposes their flawed reasoning processes.

It is clear now that you are hopelessly stupid.

It is clear that you want to remain ignorant about the origins and spread of Christianity choosing to ignore anything that happened after the 14 years of Nero's reign and the near 2000 years of history that has happened since then.

It is clear that you wish to remain ignorant about how Europe and European influenced areas remain majority Christian and other areas are not.

It is clear that you did not watch any of the videos or read any articles on this topic but rather parrot what your foolish Sunday School teachers said about Christianity.

It is clear that you wish to follow imported delusions as facts.

At least you could not counter my claim. Your ignorance was shameful.

You have now brought up edict of Milan that has nothing to do with your former argument.

Fact remains whether there was an Edict of milan or not, it would have only affected Rome. But Christianity would still spread because because just in case you don't know, there were other countries and continents on the map.

The times Christianity could have died, was during the times of Nero. But we are still here and stronger till today.

You're an idiot.

Other nations in the world had Arianism, Zoroastrianism and Manichaeism but why didn't they spread like Christianity?

That's because the Roman Empire adopted Christianity as the state religion and sought to destroy other religions whenever they could. The bloody article you sent even said so and is backing my claims.

Did you just say that Roman and subsequent European adoption of Christianity had nothing to do with Christianity reaching West Africa? Are you daft? Why did it take 1500 years after inception when Europeans sailed here if that was the case? I suppose you think Europeans have nothing to do with you speaking English as well.

All you have managed to do is show how little you know about your own religion.
You have just shown how you lack knowledge and your argument is all over the place.

So you say if Rome had banned Christianity, it wont exist today, right??

So guess what.

Rome the world power during the reign of Emperor Nero, and also later Decius banned Christianity.

They killed thousands of Christians. Christians couldn't even come out openly, they were thrown to lions for the Roman entertainments and also lighted as street lamps for parties.

Now that was still when Christianity was very young compared to the Catholic Church times. (1st Century Rome). Christianity was still growing.

Even some of his soldiers when Christian's were being killed, still converted to Christianity.

Now if there was anytime for Christianity to end, that would have been the time.

But yet, Chrsitianity still spread all over the world. (Praise Jesus).

So, find another logical argument Mr. MAN.

Stop embarrassing yourself. I wonder who you think you are talking to.

You have just been shooting blanks since the beginning of this debate.

Why are you derailing the conversation?

Wasn't Nicene Christianity adopted by the Romans and later Europeans who then brought it to West Africa?

Did Asians bring Christianity to West Africa?

Wasn't it the same Roman empire who controlled most of Europe that also controlled the parts where Christianity started?

Aren't you aware that the city of Rome was no longer the seat of power in the empire by 286 A. D.? By the time Christianity was made the state religion Rome had become irrelevant and power had shifted to the Eastern regions of the Empire.

Aren't you aware that I am not talking just about Rome the city but the massive land mass of the Roman Empire?

In those areas of Asia ruled by Rome do they still make up the majority of Christians after the fall of Roman rule?
You are jumping all over the place.

You claimed there wouldnt be Christianity all over the world if it was banned by the Romans.

That has nothing to do with Christianity coming to West Africa. Other Nations of the world already had Christians. And it would still have spread anyway.

History has shown that anytime there was persecution of Christians in a certain region, it only made Christianity larger and more dispersed around the world.
https://www.historyhit.com/the-growth-of-christianity-in-the-roman-empire/.

You have no point or backing to your claims. Even Jesus knew of people like you and spoke of His church saying " On this rock will I build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail".
